These days I really spent lot of times with my family, which i think is quite awesome especially your parents can join you for those so called "teenagers' activities", lol
I am very busy this long weekend, yea, it will be public holiday tomorrow (AWESOME!) and since i took a day off on Friday, I will have a very cool weekend!
Since Thursday night, i was so busy with all of these outings, have movie night with my high school mates on Thursday night, went to mum's hometown, Sasaran, for the art festival on my day off which is on Friday.
Then, went to Big Bad Wolf book exhibition for the first time yesterday, and today, I am going Pavillion with family and will also join an art event in the night!
The main highlight of the day is definitely the art event, which named " Art and Light" festival, hosted by a local property company, Mah Sing.
We knew about this festival from my younger brother, he is currently working as a part-timer for this event which held during weekend at Icon city in the whole December.
I immediately ask my parents to make a visit, especially knowing the ticket is free of charge!
Yay! But it was dad's idea that we shall not waste the day since we are visiting PJ area at night, and he want to see the xmas decor in Pavillion =)
Woah, sure! I had not visited Pavillion for a long time too, well, KL is far from Klang, so we seldom go the city centre, usually we get what we need in Klang valley, furthest maybe would just be me, in Subang area.
So, I am happy with dad's plan, especially heard that Pavillion has a very grand xmas decor this year.
Well, it was ok to me, not really that WOW, but maybe because of the red and gold theme, the decor is more festive, and more catchy on eyes.
Dad and mum purposely wearing couple shirt?
We also moved to the outdoor to see the decor, but nothing much special this year.
The 3 big bowl which is the signature of Pavillion seems to be so boring....lol
So we moved our way back into the mall, did some shoppings, and realized the view of the xmas decor in the centre court is more nicer from the top.
During lunch time, we had Japanese as there is Tokyo street at the top floor, we visited this newly opened Japanese cuisine.
Mum had the grilled salmon and sushi set which was not that expensive.
While myself just have the gyu-don, it was ok with price considered quite cheap for Japanese meal.
Dad also ordered this garlic fried rice, actually we definitely ordered too much dishes. Luckily they were all burnt since we shopped the whole day.
Then I also brought parents to try out snow flakes, they never had this kind of Taiwanese dessert. Great that they like it.
Laduree also had just entered Malaysia market, and opened its first branch in Pavillion, but i didnt visit there because somehow I think Malaysia Laduree may not have the same quality of Laduree in France, so I still keep a high hope with Laduree, and wish i can visit France in future.
Then, we left Pavillion around 6pm to Icon city for the art and light event.
We got a chop on our hand to access the event, but i think they did not really control the people who entered the event, well but we just followed the rules, registered online and get the access permission.
We are early and the LED lights still yet to lit, but we could visit those small spacious room which they have pop-up experience and instagrammable space.
Only thing is, there is a very long queue in every of this pop up art space, is held inside a small room but with full of pop art experience like below.
This room was named - Planet Vertica, we were surrounded with the galaxy in the room with giant horse statue.
To be honest, you not just need a good camera (or phone come with good camera) but also a good photographer, mum was so struggled to take my photo because the light was so dim and hard to focus.
We did not get very long time to take all these photos, every visitor is only allowed to stay in the room for maximum 15mins and they will be asked to leave by the workers.
Basically there will be 2 - 3 workers in charge in every room, and my brother was one of it.
He in charged the room called - Galaxy of centura, with lots of giant inflatable balls, and they actually dont really have a path in this room, they just used all these giant ball to fill up the room.
The light in this room is much more dim than the previous, and the color of the lights kept changing, sometimes in blue, sometimes in red, then yellow.
This one is captured in blue, indeed need a perfect timing to snapshot a good photo.
This one captured in yellow because my brother took it, we found him in this room and realized he actually in charging this room, before that we actually don't know where he would be.
This photo immediately become my OOTD. LOL
Then, my elder brother and his family arrived, and we joined them in the outdoor.
This lit up ring swing is also very attractive, people is lining up for this. When it come to my niece's turn, the swing light actually not working.
What a poor organization and no one come to fix it immediately. Oh well, then i miss the chance to take with the swing.
But the surrounding LED flowers were lit, but they were not as amazing as what i discovered in DDP, Seoul, Korea.
But my niece happily enjoying the light, kept saying " mei mei" (beautiful in mandarin)
She also very happy with the Digi wishing tree, with lots of long yellow ribbon.
There was also a kid zone - Vista Interactive Space wall, where kids or adults can colored different vehicles and sending their artwork to the projected innovative wall.
Loey is so happy to able to color the car.
While they were spending sometimes there, mum and I went to upstairs for other interactive pop up showrooms.
This is also quite instagrammable, Anti gravity room
but this is not a room, is more like a kiosk, and i find here really messy. They should have use room to separate different themed room, instead of just using divider.
D'sara music and light is not that fun, the lights somehow is not sensitive, i saw lots of people keep jumping on it ==
Dimension room is another popular spot, but to be honest, i dont find it that attractive.
Icon city actually located very near to LDP highway, and the event was carried out at the top floor and we are able to spot LDP clearly from here.
We didnt stay long for the event, dad found it boring, and we cant stand waiting for the queue just for photos. So we left and went for dinner
However, i still enjoyed the night, and i also bought lots of things today.
Bought a long wallet for myself after nearly 3 years, previously i bought a fossil short wallet but it was not that convenient for me as it did not have a long pocket to place my paper notes.
This Charles & Keith wallet just perfectly fit the paper note, only thing i am dissatisfied is there is only one compartment, i actually still love my current Charles & Keith wallet which i bought 3 years ago, however its cover started to be worn out. So, is time.
I also finally found this! I always want to have this tea filter, I saw this in a cafe before, now i only realized it was bought from Daiso! COOL!
I bought the tea pot shaped instead of the house shape, and now i can enjoy my tea in office =)
Then I also found this European iconic buidling book stand at Daiso, I really think Pavillion Daiso has more stuffs compared to Pyramid's or Aeon Klang's.
Finally get the make up puff washer, i bought the brush cleaner last time but did not buy the pink one, then only realized it is necessary to have one.
Also have bought phone cover again today! LOL, the bottom case in blue was from Daiso, while the 2 on top are from Typo. Quite surprised they actually doing sales for their phone cases, i really find their case was very ordinary and overpriced. I was so excited when i saw them discounted until i accidentally bought a case in 6s size (the middle) ==. Oh well =D
