C'est LA viE

Yeah, this was the only marathon I joined for 2016. Too bad, i dint manage to run for 10km which I set up as target last year because the Night marathon I joined tonight was too heat and the 10km was fully "sold out".

I was late for the registration hence only managed to register for the fun run which is 5km.

HuiB said it was kinda waste to travel that far (all the way to Putra Jaya) just for the 5km, but to me, to be able to join night marathon had always been a bucket list, so who cares and I was the one driving all the way not her. 

I was so rushed tonight to try to finish all the baking asap at the baking class, but the baking class was taking too long tonight, it only finish around 7pm!

Is alright as I would drive to the venue, and I did. Managed to get a parking and on my way to the gather point, it was raining!

I was telling myself definitely not running in the rain, thank god the rain stopped right before the departure of the half marathon and left a cool breeze in the air.

This time was not the best that i could do, at it did not beat my last record at 45mins to finish 5k.

It took me almost an hour to complete maybe because I lack of training (lack of jogging) recently, and decided to get back to my jogging routine after tonight.

Putra Jaya night view was indeed nice, especially near the lake side

Leg and muscle were all fine, and the snack pack was not too bad either tho i dont really fancy about them.

I waited for so long for Kok Chin, HuiB and Zhan Yi to finish their half marathon, just for the photo session:

10km or more in 2017? Challenge accepted!

Wooh yeah, finally got a chance to attend company annual dinner tho I actually just missed the Macfood one which also held in this month.

Well, I guess i am lucky to meet the Bakel's annual dinner.

Ya, our theme for anuual dinner this year is Night of colors, means the dress code is smart casual and colorful~

I even went to buy a colorful dress for this event!

It was a flowery dress, but with many colors lol. I also put on my yellow heels which bought in Auckland 4 years ago, I seldom wear it, and come to realize actually it already nearly ruined and would spoil anytime...wow, indeed cannot store shoes without wearing them....

The event was held at Saujana Hotel in Ara Damansara, venue place was classic and very Malays style tho..

Food was buffet style and served outdoor, but the event was held indoor.

I come quite early, almost 30min before the other guests arrived. Hence was told to in charge the reception, well we are such a small company, today only I come to find out the number of people in my new company is 109 people in total.

How do i know? I was the one who pass out the lucky draw number~ Tho I met a picky sales lady who shouted at me blaming i did not give her the lucky number 8.

Why should I? I was just giving out the number according to the sequence, you could choose to be the 8th people to collect the draw~

After almost handling 100 people, we went in to get a table. 

We sat quite close to the stage, and apparently there was an indian who is our company's logistic driver was already drunk before the event started!

This was terrible and shameful of the manager could not manage him! 

Well, luckily his friends from Inventory department still able to manage him to stop him doing awkward thing~

I was really scared that he might be so hyper and insult any of us. 

The commitee even hired a MC for the event who was very cheesy and flirty i would say, especially to our supply chain manager who already married!

Well, is it necessary to get a MC? Maybe for the event to be fun and high, yes. 

There were many prizes to be won too, means there will be games!

My assistant, Siti was picked by the MC to the stage to stop the music, while the music still ongoing, people under the stage by table number need to pass the number plate to other stage.

So all people from the table chosen need to act like choo choo train and passed the number plate to another table. 

If the music stopped, the table of people who still holding the number plate will be considered lose for the game.

Our table lose at the very begining which somehow was good as we no longer need to line up and run to other table. 

After the first game, dinner finally get started.

To be honest, the meal was just alright. The snaper was very salty, and the roasted lamb was so dry!

Luckily the beef and chicken satay was delicious and save the night~

Tristan, the general manager of the Bakels gave a speech while everyone still digging into their food.

Following that, it was lucky draw session! 

Everyone was so excited about the prize and thankful that everyone will get a prize.

I got a RM100 Aeon cash voucher which was good enough for me, because as a new comer, I wouldnt expect i would get such a chance to join the dinner and even got a prize.

Siti was really the highlight of the night! She won the grand prize - RM2500 cash!!

Her number was 14, which was given by me specially for her.

Reason was because of the picky sales lady who was so conservative and suspicious about the association of number 4 with death (same pronouncation as death in mandarin)

So in case I met someone who also that picky and suspicious, i gave the number 14 to Siti.

And the number 4 was taken by Karen, she also won the 4th prize, RM300 cash with 1 night free stay at Saujana hotel!

See, number 4 was the lucky number of the night! 

The night was quite fun, everyone was enjoying it~

啊啊啊啊啊，這天終于到了，好興奮哦，現在心情也還是很亢奮！

這也是我第一次在大馬看演唱會，哈哈哈，不要算那種免費戶外的，這次自己付費，而且是搖滾區！

這次的門票真的是貴的令人乍舌，心痛倒沒有，因爲爲了五月天，700塊算什麽？！（明明就很貴！！！==）

距離上一場五月天的演唱會，已經是4年前了，在澳洲第一次看五月天的時候，回想起來那次自己也是很瘋狂阿

這次要非常感謝韻敏在8月上旬時七早八早去排隊買票，雖然這次是在左手邊的搖滾區（中間的賣完了！！），不過也是很開心

我們就在ROCK (L)，最靠近舞臺了~

尤其可以和韻敏一起去還真好！（其實她也是最近幾年才變成五迷的）

今天一早吃過肉骨茶后，我們就出發了。謝謝佩云特地載我們去火車站，我們在去吉隆坡的火車上還發生了一個小插曲

話説有一個中年婦女突然向我們靠近，要求我們幫忙借錢讓他回家鄉幫病逝的母親處理身後事

其實大馬的這種向人借錢的騙錢手段層出不窮，比比皆是。我們其實都很猶豫，也很質疑到底是不是真的

於是我們只說我們可以到車站后幫她買票，但是她卻搬出另一些需要現金的理由，這下露出破綻咯，阿姨！

後來她還一直賴死不走，還説道友族同胞都幫她了（就是有些馬來人來善心了==）然後我們身為華人卻不伸出援手

問題是阿姨我們已經伸了，可是你卻不肯要阿，而且你真的家裏發生那麽大件事的話，怎麽可以在我旁邊倒頭大睡？

而且過後我們也算是半驗證了她應該是假的，因爲她繼續用同樣的理由去和車廂的其他人要錢。。。這社會到底是怎麽了？

反正我們到吉隆坡后就完全不想去理會她究竟後來如荷了，這時我其實很擔心自己的鞋子會突然坏掉，畢竟穿了一段時間，最近買的鞋子都貌似沒有很好的質地的說

所以我還特地去買了一雙鞋以保安全，哈哈哈，我們也買了一些麵包，畢竟今晚肯定是沒好吃的了

我們其實要在吉隆坡中央車站轉搭monorail去stadium merdeka，但是這時monorail系統竟然出狀況！！！真的是馬來西亞！

等了差不多30分鐘多吧，慶幸自己夠醒目在車子終于通行時，跑到最前方去進車廂，這下不用在後方和別人一起擠進車廂，成功進入車廂才是王道！

到站后會發現原來蠻多五迷也是坐火車來的，大家都很有智慧，因爲這裡的停車場不多，就算有，收費會嚇死人

這時剛到看到的情景，人沒有我想象中多

一到第一件事就是去買演唱會服，畢竟我一件都沒有，韻敏和她同事，彩菱都穿了，我有什麽理由不穿，可惜我要的都完售了啦！

最後買了這件：

反正好過沒有，穿上去后就真的準備開演唱會了，這時才下午近４點，突然從體育場裏傳來ｄｏ　ｙｏｕ　ｅｖｅｒ　ｓｈｉｎｅ的歌曲！

我超興奮的！快開始吧！

接著的幾個小時我們都不知道如何渡過的，有時我真的挺害怕這種演唱會或跨年的大型活動，要一大早就來排隊以儘早找到好位置，但是沒有事情做空等待真的很可怕，這種事情真的只能趁年輕作的

反正就是吃吃麵包，說説話，刷刷手機，這樣就開始排隊進場了

會場其實挺大的，這次的售票演唱會也開出好票房，證明五月天在大馬的魅力，還是有很多粉絲的

這就是我看到的舞臺，沒有放大哦，這就是我和舞臺的距離

原本韻敏想要去較左手邊的位置，因爲基本上我們抵達時挺早的，只有一小部分粉絲到達，然後通通都擠在靠近Ｔ字形舞臺的角落那裏

但是如果往左手邊去就更加遠離中央舞臺，所以我們就站在角落接近中央舞臺，但是排在２，３排粉絲的後面

其實好後悔沒聼韻敏的話，因爲後來五月天都一直往舞臺左手邊跑，本來就可以更加近距離看到的！

雖然進場了，但是真的等了好久才開場的說，大屏幕的音樂錄影帶都重復了好幾次，但是大家還是很有耐心，而且還跟著大屏幕播放的五月天自傳專輯的新歌一起哼唱

這樣大家一起同樂一起唱歌的感覺其實好好噢，因爲後來也感動了五月天，阿信出場時也說有一班神經病在還沒開唱就先開演唱會哈哈哈哈

大約７點多那樣，五月天終于在千呼萬喚下出場，一開頭就帶來強勁的《ｄｏ　ｕ　ｅｖｅｒ　ｓｈｉｎｅ》，其實這也是我初次聽到中文版本的

其實我並沒有去上網看其他站的曲目是什麽，完全以空白的感覺去享受這次的演唱會

反正自己就是一直在跳！哈哈哈

一開始是強勁的組曲： Do You Ever Shine、三个傻瓜、你不是真正的快乐、为爱而生、孙悟空、雌雄同体、人生海海、终结单身、轧车、离开地球表面

當然中間有插話，但是一開始話還是挺少的，主要都是在簡短招呼，然後又省話繼續唱歌

接著就舞臺開始黑暗，中央還多了一張長桌擺放了燭臺和很多看起來好好吃的食物＝），接著突然亮燈，瑪莎竟然自彈自唱《諾亞方舟》！！

這還是我第一次聽到瑪莎唱歌，歌聲不錯嘛～

然後阿信等人就出場，這次到抒情曲目了： 知足、疯狂世界、笑忘歌、如烟、志明与春娇、好好

唱《知足》，五迷們都很識趣，不用五月天提醒都自動掏手機，這個已經是默契了～韻敏爲什麽會不知道？＝＝

當然這裡開始有講話了，阿信開始介紹五月天成員，但是怎麽沒介紹自己啊！

然後他們就竟然開始吃東西！原來桌上的食物真的可以吃的哦，阿信也真的是很稱職的代言人，喝著椰子殼的水，竟然說是乳酸飲料

不過這麽隨性開場也很好，至少不會太累，不會餓肚子了，好聰明哦～

這裡也很開心的說，因爲冠佑的一番話真的逗得大家樂翻天

話説冠佑說到大馬的粉絲最好被其他成員譏諷說難道別國的粉絲就不好嗎，這時冠佑不急不慌的說，爲什麽大馬粉絲最好，看看我們前方，有單塔（吉隆坡塔），還有雙塔（雙峰塔，這個名字超好笑），還有五月天的專署銀行－ＭＡＹＢＡＮＫ！！這個都想到！厲害！！！

冠佑你果然是五月天的梗王，毋庸置疑！

阿信這時問台下歌迷會不會彈吉他，然後會彈什麽歌曲，沒想到對方竟說是周傑倫的歌，還要阿信唱《雙節棍》，這時怪獸竟然開始彈奏，阿信緊張的說：他會彈我搞不好不會唱咧，石頭開玩笑說你就哼哼哈ｈｉ就好了，所以就這樣聽到一小段五月天版本的雙節棍拉哈哈，我們太有福氣了

阿信這時也挑釁台下的粉絲問接下來的歌曲前奏是在大馬創作的，叫歌迷猜是什麽歌，猜中加歌一首，猜錯倒扣十首，當然我們可是鉄粉肯定猜中阿！

歌曲就是《志明與春嬌》，這時就要多加一首歌咯　－沒想到阿信竟然唱《相信》，而且這首歌從來沒在其他城市就這次ｊｕｓｔ　ｒｏｃｋｉｔ　演唱會唱過！

前奏一放時我超級開心，因爲我也是很喜歡這首歌，韻敏一直在問是什麽歌，我馬上就猜出來了，這就是１０年多粉絲，和２，３年粉絲的差別！

基本上每一首的前奏饗起時我都知道是什麽歌。。。哈哈哈我超級神氣的說

接下來也是很多好聽的歌曲： 乾杯、將军令、入阵曲、我不愿让你一个人、

這些都算是近幾年的新歌，好開心哦，尤其《我不願讓你一個人》時很多周圍的情侶開始在抱來抱去。。。＝＝

石頭好帥！

其實我無法拍到好多照片因爲我的爛手機拍的照片素質真的很差，而且我拍到的都是手～

這是怎樣？惟有用眼睛欣賞，用大腦去記憶了，所以很多照片是從網上轉載的。

接著演唱《ｏａｏａ》時阿信竟然走的超靠近我們，他就在我前面唱歌，我的媽啊，我第一次這麽近距離看到他，真的很帥！！

而且他還拿了粉絲遞給他的比基尼體恤，放到怪獸身上，好好笑！

接下來唱《如果我們不曾相遇》也是很感動的，因爲我們終于在馬來西亞相遇了

接下來有新專輯的曲目： 任意门、顽固，

唱《任意門》時看著熒幕上的歌詞，我有小小感動，因爲歌詞太細膩的述説五月天出道時的光景，你問全世界哪裏是最美，答案是你身邊！

接著五月天就道別，回到舞臺後方，這時我們都知道要安哥了

接著《派對動物》就出場開派對了～

緊追著是《傷心的人別聼慢歌》，然後就是《溫柔》

之前在澳洲看時只看到都是滿天碎片紛飛的場景，這次這些碎片是直接降落在我們搖滾區的人群中，原來都是蝴蝶形狀的，我沒來得及拍照，因爲這個場景太美了，我完全沉醉在這個畫面中

但是我也撿了好幾張蝴蝶的說，因爲太有收藏價值了～

唱完《溫柔》，五月天再次退場，我們當然不斷喊安哥，不知爲什麽在演唱會前有人告訴我們要一起在安哥時合唱《天使》，可是是有聽到人唱，但聲音此起彼落，火候不足卻草草收場呀！

當然五月天還是再次出來，演唱： 后来的我们、突然好想你、恋爱ING、製造浪漫（冠佑）、洋葱、憨人。

冠佑是被阿信轟出去唱歌的，沒想到他竟然一人分飾２角唱《製造浪漫》，這首以前在五月天上《康熙來了》有聼過，但是現場是第一次聽到

阿信反而跑去代替冠佑打鼓，陳總裁你果然是很有才！！打鼓的時候也是超帥的！　啊啊啊啊，我又花痴了～

有唱《洋蔥》也是很意外，所以其實這次大馬粉絲其實賺到了，雖然我們不像新加坡安哥３次，但是我們有聽到很多意外的歌曲

還記得在澳洲演唱會阿信唱《憨人》的那一段話讓我淚流滿面，這次就還好，因爲大哥你這次是對大馬粉絲的愛心熒光棒由衷的感謝

“我一直以为在吉隆坡让我印象最深刻的是双子星塔，
我一直以为令我们最想带回去的回忆是难忘的美食，

是的，在搖滾區中央的區塊，有歌迷熱心發起愛心的卡片，讓其他歌迷都貼在熒光棒上，給了五月天一個很大的驚喜（我們左手邊的就沒被發到＝＝）

我想五迷們都是很貼心的，這絕對是因爲五月天的關係，謝謝你們讓我的２０１６有了很值得紀念的一夜（頁）

散場后，可以看到大家都不捨得離開，因爲真的是太亢奮了啦　

我到家都快淩晨１點了，臉上的五月天自傳皇冠記號都不捨得洗啦，總之很享受這次的演唱會，五月天最高！！

I was really happy to find out such event in Malaysia, it is exciting isnt it?

Putra Jaya had been doing great job on trying to organize various family event, and tonight is the night I bond with my brother and his family.

As mentioned before, he got married last year and now has a little cute daughter named Loey.

Currently my mum was away with her trip at China, while dad had no interest to join us, plus is a Tuesday night, so I decided to join them for the lights.

I was trying my best to leave work, but too bad met the traffic jam and got stucked for almost half an hour, finally got home and ready to go~

Unfortunately, it started raining, and we struggled to find a good place to eat.

Ended up we had dinner at "Padi", a local Malay-western fushion cuisine, I was surprised they served real 100% fresh fruit juice without sugar added, thank you for your generous!

This was what I had tonight: Vietnamese chicken chop rice, the chicken fillet was marinaded with lemon grass and other herbs and grilled, I love lemon grass!

It also contains keropok, salad and a sunny side up egg~

Food was also surprisingly good!

My younger brother, Kai had Thai Style fish finger rice, and my elder brother actually also topped up extra fish finger for snack. 

Their fish finger (or fish cakes) are tasty too.

Not sure what is this, lol....

Ok, after the meal, the rain finally stopped, and left an amazing chilly breeze in the air.

Too bad all the tickets were sold out, but no worries, because we got to see the festival along the bridge for free!!

Loey was so happy when seeing all the colorful lights on the fancy boat decorated in lights, you know, kids love colorful and bright stuff.

She kept saying: 美美~ means so beautiful!!

I should have brought my camera, forgot to take the photo from my younger brother.

Actually we would come to this event was because of him, he is taking a photography paper at the moment, and his project need him to use professional camera to capture good lighting photos.

But nowadays instagram can do magic....tada!

Now the actual boats revealed~ 

this is a very nice event, i would try to buy ticket next year and go again =)

Yo, is the gathering time again.

I think it has become a tradition that we gather once in a year, during CNY. LOL

Before we start the reunion at night, I had my outing gang reunion first =)

Hehe, after the outing 2 days ago, we decided to have a feast first following by movie before the night begin.

We had huge lunch buffet at Sukiya, I forgot how much meat I had eaten.....but really massive meal until I gave up for dinner tonight.

Anyways, I did enjoy my lunch with my outing gang, we chat so much today which was really very fun.

After the lunch, we watched the local movie which received high rating and popularity recently - Ola Bola.

I actually dint really interested in the movie in the begining simply because I never thought it will be nice to watch.

However, it was actually not so bad, the spirit of the sport in the old days, and the nation shared the joyment and pride of the country in the past really touching.

I wonder if we able to have such 1-nation nowadays. 

Oh well, just take it as an entertainment, why so serious?

Dinner tonight is held at a newly opened cafe at Bukit tinggi, it named Hazelnut cafe ==

Wonder if they serve signature dishes with hazelnut, but nope, and their food apparently are just so so. 

Well, since I am too full from lunch, I just have a drinks while chatting with others

There are like 25 - 30 of us, with some faces who really nt seen for a long while.

Apparently, today also is Sin Yee's son birthday, he is turning 2 years old today =D

Today must be memorable for him, so many people cheer and sang birthday song for him. 

Happy Birthday xiao Jie. =D

We stayed until almost 11pm tonight, which was considered quite early, I guess all of us are getting old =S Nah...maybe just lost of interest to hang out until late night.

Well, we are such a big group made up by different gang that are not really very closed to each other, although we were under the same roof of class.

I guess, it is already considered lucky to have 1 gathering each year. Hopefully we are able to maintain/improve the tradition.

At least, my outing gang need to be last long =)

Lol, I felt so sorry to Bean, but we had so much fun that night. 

It was such a random event, random as in I was invited by Bean's colleagues for her birthday celebration.

Well, though the invitation was mentioned by Bean but I felt an honour to join them as I only hang out with them once during the U-first adventure

But I did love to hang out with them, felt like I have entered another world as all of them have such a unique characters and most importantly they are fun to deal with.

We had the celebration at Mr. Dakgalbi at Setia City mall, which was recently opened and welcomed by lots of big eaters.

You guess it right, they served korean sizzling which they cooked all the kimchi marinade meat together with vege,tteokbokki and ramen.

Frankly speaking, I never have much chance to have such Korean original style of hot plate meal because NZ barely could find them, so I was really grateful I was able to have this.

Especially when they putting in the ramen into the hot plate, OMG, I really wanna shout out loud!

Though I had quit eating instant noodle, but I really couldnt resist the korean instant ramen, they are too good to turn down.

High speed stirring technique is highly required, otherwise we would end up eating charcoal.

The foreign workers are trained well, the ramen indeed yummy~

The ramen blend really well together with the sauce, and the meat are well grilled, not too dry and they absorbed the sauce very well.

I really enjoyed the meal, but to be honest, 3 ppl to share for this plate is not really full if you are big eater.

I am sorry that I am a big eater ==, but thankful that the rice came in after this:

This korean guy perhaps is the owner, and Bean's colleagues kept stalking him lol, I was asked to take his photo by them because they just enjoyed watching him ==

He is not just good looking (but for sure not my type), also good in grilling the rice.

You see how sticky is the rice together with the remaining little meat and sauce.......impressive....

Then, the "main" turned up, I think Bean's colleagues are really lovely, they prepared a cake together with a very pricy gift.

Though the 30 decor was really funny, Bean was mad but also happy when saw the 30 candle, while I was still out of the blue, because I thought bean was really turning 30 ==

what the hell I was thinking, I am not reaching 30 yet! I must be too tired lol

But I made lot of fun with Bean hehe. I really honoured to have you as my best fren, you actually lightened up my life heaps which you might not know. 

Thankful you had aged for another year, and stay by my side in another year =D 

I guess you deserved all the treats tonight, you must be surprised with the super pricy and fancy perfume gift that you dream to own it, but we knew why we gifted you because we love you!

Bean's colleagues shared a gift for her, and they actually counted me in at first to share the gift.

It was DKNY pink perfume, I am not really into perfume but I do know bean is a crazy perfume seeker, so luckily we made a good choice to buy this brand that bean would not deny.

As I said they counted me in initially, I actually was exempted from this sharing gift, because I had bought lots of gift for Bean when I was in Taiwan.

Bean yelled at me: You are so rich ah? Bought so many things for me?!

My dear, I am not rich, but my biggest asset is have you as my bestie! =) 

Actually I thought of Bean so many times when I saw certain stuffs in Taiwan, my brain appeared: Oh bean will like this...

You can tell how close I am with her, and how much I love her =.= 

Oh well, I am nt leaving with bare hand tonight, I got a free mask because Mr. Dakgalbi offered us when our bill exceed certain amount.

Once again, congratz to the born of another family from my high school class couple - shin chyn and wei siang.

Both of them had been together for a while, and we were waiting for their knot tying up ages....

The wedding they hold at Seri Kembangan was real far location for us, but lot of familiar strangers popped up tonight and the reunion of S3SL seems more crowded than the wedding last week (the CG couple).

you can see almost the whole S3SL class students turned up~ I think only around 10+ people absent from this wedding.

photos shooting were unstoppable tonight. 

I really like their wedding photos, very sweet, they even provided the local malt candies, everyone was amused with the natural sweet aroma.

The wedding night concept was really lovey dovey, and the bride really like a princess, awaiting her prince to come 

while for us, the invited guests, were really honoured to be here to celebrate their happiness.

Of cause we couldnt stop catching up with each other, gossiping about the past and looking forward for the future.

It was a fun night, I enjoyed all the conversations and I could tell I will be attending more of these wedding in coming days.....hmmm....

Well, once again, cheers for the couple and may both of you stay happily ever after~

Thanks to Chyi's effort, we had a Xmas gift exchange session as well as 2016 resolution session this year.

It was a fun and motivative night, and I am thankful for this event although it was just among few of us, but it's really meaningful and great to have one.

When Chyi mentioned this first time on the group chat, i was kinda defensive and rolling eyes with it because we never have one and kinda awkward to start one.

But luckily everyone was tempted and I kinda guilty that I was thinking to ignore such great event.

We spent this special night at Lenour, a new cafe close to my neighbourhood.

Food in general are not bad, though i dont really think their pasta was good.

I forgot what I have ordered, the lost of memory indicating their food was just so so. 

But i do remember the Dilmah timer which come along with Bean's tea. It was fun to play with, but couldnt believe they sold Dilmah tea in such expensive way, you can easily get a cheap one in NZ supermarket.

Oh well, that's imported in Malaysia.

Chyi's coffee was also quite special, the caramel was placed within the niddle tube and you can choose to "inject" how sweet you like your coffee to be. 

Cakes were just ok, not that great that I could recall.

However I did have a memory flashed back for the waffle. It was not too bad, just way too simple for the price.

Then, the gift exchange sessions started. 

With the budget of at least RM20, I bought a gift specially for this event tonight together with Bean at the face shop, and guess who was the lucky one to pick mine?

Teng actually chosen mine and it is the bamboo shoot moisturizer from the face shop, and the gift she prepared was chosen by Chyi which is a M&M christmas edition giftbox.

For myself, I picked HuiB's gift and this is what I got~

It was the photo frame at the left~

It's not a practical one (not fulfill the theme Chyi set ==), but it is a meaningful one, cz is a photos frame that can hang on the wall with all the memorable photos we shared together. 

I am happy with what i got =)

I also had wrote a sharable 2016 resolution note and placed in Chyi's little Lindt box.

As what Chyi said, we would open the box in Xmas 2016 and will fine those who failed to achieve their own resolution. 

Oh no, means I really must go Japan this year?!

We had celebration again, is Ching Yee's birthday today and we threw her an opened celebration.

Reason was Jack said no point to give her a surprise hence we openly told her that we would buy her a cake. ==

Here's it is, a mango mousse cake from RT, quite nice and rich. 

We also have the London's mini ice cream stick for mouth wash later on.

It was a sweet day~

The celebration continued with dinner at Pasta zamai and drinks at Coffee Bean. 

The burger Ching Yee ordered looks yummy, but my omelette rice tasted better =)

Drinks sold at Coffee Bean aren't cheap, I think I preferred Starbucks more.

But indeed a good night.

The wedding continued with the wedding dinner tonight, looks like my bridemaid job havent ended yet.

Bean and I had arrived the wedding dinner venue around 3pm, and started preparing the decors.

FYI, my bestie, who is the pretty bride tonight, studied interior design and had a very high demand for the wedding decor design.

Well, wedding once in a life time, I guess all ladies have their expectation and thought about the perfect wedding.

As the bride best maid(mate), I would try my best to do what cheen wants.

The decors on the reception or the snacks area was still easy to handle, but the photo booth was really a challenging one.

What even worst was because there were only 4 of us fixing the decor for photo booth while the others ran for make up soon they done with the desk decors which actually pissed me off.

I mean this was not your wedding and we need people to help to fix the complex curtain and hanger for the photo booth, and you gals are here for helping with the decor not attending the wedding just as a guest. 

But i guess that's how they are in character, and they are cheen's other besties so I wouldnt like to comment anything.

The photo booth decor was quite complicated, especially for the C and G word to hang on the curtain.

The design was drafted by the bride, and she was expecting something like this:

Perhaps none of us are very artistic, so cheen actually disapproved this, but thanks to Joy, she smartly adjusted the gold gauze and cheen finally said yes (but we guess she said yes because of the time limit)

Bean, Vion, Joy and I finished the photo booth decor around 6.30pm, (and the wedding start at 7pm), and quickly dressed up and made up. 

Luckily we managed to sit at our assigned seats on time, and the other bride maids also helped at the reception and other areas.

The photo booth was very popular, lots of people took photo, and Joy also brought a machine which was linked to the we chat and provide photo printing service for free!

Although the printing quality was not that good, but really grateful Joy specially brought in the printing session and bean and I almost become the printing service promoter lol

The CG couple are like a rock stars tonight, their presence really made the night overwhelmed. 

Tonight also is our secondary class - S3SL reunion, really can see how our age graded and we kinda take wedding dinner time as a reunion time.

Once again congratz my dearest "papa", you must stay good and happy! 

Ohh, finally is the big day, the big day for me to become one of the bridemaids.

This is my first time experience to become a bridemaid, I used to see how other sisters were having fun during the wedding ceremony, but never expect myself got to participate in the event.

We did have a very tight schedule today as written below:

And not to mention that all the games was discussed earlier during my absence when I gone to taiwan.

First of all, I would like to thank cheen who chosen me to become one of her 10 bridemaids, it was an honour for me to accompany this beautiful bride on her big day.

I woke up real early this morning just to ensure I had put on my make up nicely.

you wouldnt believe how much I had spent for this wedding, i bought a concealer, a nude bra, and nude underwear. 

Luckily I had basic make up set with me, though the last time I used them was ages ago.

Then, i also want to thank my colleague, Pek Shan who advised me on the make up, she was very patient and shared me lots of useful info.

This is how I looked today~

All of us looked like Greek Goddess because of the lovely hair wreath, I still hanging it behind my bedroom door.

But actually I dont think i looked very different with make up, even my colleague also mentioned the same thing. Perhaps I just havent found the make up style that suits me?

Oh well, it's alright because is not me who getting married, as long as the bride is looking good, I dont mind look ugly or fat (indeed I am fat! ><) 

Cheen also must be very tired today, she also woke up very early to fix her make up, wedding gaun and hair. 

Around 9.30am, the groom and his groomsmen had finally arrived after the long wait ==

We initially set up 4 stages of game before the groom approaching the bride, but I guess the groom purposely arrived late, and to avoid missing out the "good time" (feng shui talk) to leave bride's hse and arrive groom's hse, we actually skipped/simplified the games. 

But I must admitted that it was either the groom couldnt wait to marry the bride or too dumb, he gave us the whole stack of red pocket in one goal ==

The only fun when the groomsman suffered perhaps was the time they were asked to hold the yoga pose for 10 seconds...

But since the groom was so generous, all of us decided to let go the groomsman for more strict games~

Looked at how happy we were counting the "luck" we got~

The couple left the hse around 10.30am, and could tell how cheen was happy but still burst with tears

We are all happy for your new chapter of life, hope you stay happy and pretty with your hubby. 

The whole ceremony spared my half day today, but I dint end my weekend with just a wedding, I went to Coffee Origin later for lunch/afternoon tea with bean and chin.

First attempt for their bacon mushroom roll, nt too bad, the mushroom was very juicy and matched well with the bacon.

Then I shared the evil filling waffle with Chin, though my diet plan had started but I really couldnt resist waffle/desserts ><! 

I specially like coffee origin's waffle because they have mochi in it, and the waffle was very crispy and big! 

Thankful that there is such a heartful cafe near my neighbourhood, hope their business can be maintained well and stay tasty with reasonable price.

OMG, my first bestie is getting married, no...she already married...because this is a throwback post ==

But this was really my first time to attend my bestie's registration, then join her wedding ceremony and prepare for the wedding dinner etc.

Back to the wedding registration day, it was a very sunny day, I purposely took 1 day off to be part of her, Scheen's big day.

Scheen was really happy that day, and she also so pretty!! 

The registration process was actually quite fast, but we had a brunch of paparazi lol

Happily exchanging the wedding ring. 

Actually there were like 10 of us (frens of bride) attending the registration, but all the group photos are not with any of us =.=

After the registration, all of us gone to Uncle Loo's restaurant for free lunch, Scheen's dad was too generous and kind. 

For sure, his daughter, my dear fren, Scheen will happily ever after with her beloved one.

Yes, part 5, you can tell how many cakes I had in 2015 birthday....I wonder if the cake quantity increased as the age?! 

Oh no please, though I really cakes lover!

Bean and her colleagues threw one of her colleague and me a surprise birthday night after the tiring adventure quest in the morning,

As mentioned, the U-first quest also include a free one night stay, in the top 1 hotel in Kluang.

Looked at the comfy beds we had!! Wow, not just bed is large enough, even the room is also really huge~

We also received welcome gift!! 

After the comfy shower, bean just dissappeared, left me in the room...then my cold also just started OH NO!!

Then suddenly I received a call to go over one of Bean's colleague, Ivy's room...Hmmm I smelled smthing~

Yes, we were thrown we surprise birthday party!!

They bought us, me and Pei Yun 2 lovely cakes....they were super yummy~

The cake on the left is mango mousse cake, while the one pei yun holding was pandan chiffon cake. 

They purposely went to the local bakery to buy cake and also heaps of balloon to give us such a wonderful memory~

Really appreciated their effort, I actually was a bit pissed when bean left me by my own in the room, but then thinking of that made me really guilty~ Sorry my dear, and thank you! Love ya!

Actually I wouldnt believe I would say yes to bean when she invited me, and also surprised I said yes to the challenge. 

This was the first time for MYVI club - U first to hold such fun and exciting activity for the small car users.

FYI, MYVI is the brand of my car which is under Malaysia National car brand - Perodua. I also just discovered that MYVI had an exclusive club for their car holders, named U-first.

Then, they took the opportunity to promote the club by holding this adventure quest in Agro UK farm at Johor. 

We started travel to Johor the night before, Bean and I took turns to drive her Myvi. It was also my first time driving other people's car and travel that far...all the way down to south and moreover at night!. =S

But it was smooth and all good, I was proud of myself somehow, lol.

We had a good rest at Milano hotel to start all the challenges on the next day~

We started moving to UK farm very early in the morning, and I also got to meet new frens, who are Bean's colleague. 

They are very nice and friendly people and it was good to know them~

After arrival at UK farm, we only noticed that we were not the earliest, and the event is huge than we thought.

At the registration, we were trying our best to find out what challenges waiting ahead.

One of the good thing about this quest was, with RM158, we can free breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation overnight. 

Breakfast was just simple buffet which covered fried rice, fried egg, spring rolls, then free flow of milo/coffee.

We had enough breakfast to start off the day, then we dressed up with the sponsored U-first T-shirt, and prepared for the unknown challenges ahead.

We were given one booklet which we required to answer all the questions, and also briefly explain what kind of challenges is every stop.

Basically there are 6 tasks in total which located at 6 different stops in the farm. Contestants would earn credits by participating all the tasks, winner of the task would earn higher credits, and by answering the questions correctly also would add in extra credits to the team. 

Then, the highest total credit sum up from all 6 tasks will win the prize.

Bean, Ivy and I were in 1 team, while the others were in another team.

A few opened shuttles were also arranged by the sponsors to fetch contestants to different spots for different tasks. 

Our first task was toad and keys....well I actually have forgotten the task name lol.

But I definitely wouldnt forget how creepy was this task, this task required us to pick up the keys from the plastic aquarium tank which contains more than 50 toads....OMG!!!!

Then we need to use the keys to unlock the padlocks on the desk...so everyone will have chances to take turn to unlock the padlock.

In short, I have NO WAY TO ESCAPE!! LOOK AT THIS!!!

You can see that those blackish stuffs are the toads, they were sitting on 20 keys underneath which 10 of them could unlock the padlock placed beside the tank.

Now recalling this, it still gave me goosebumps! I really very thank bean because she actually pushed all the toads aside to help me to get the keys out.

I did accidentally touched some of the toads, because they were also terrified and jumped everywhere in the tank.

They were like jelly...but really disgusting!! We eventually failed 1 padlock, which only managed to unlock 9 out of 10. 

Then we moved to the next station - nutty run.

Bean and Ivy took the initiative to participate this round as only 2 contestants from each team required.

They were doing very well, we gained lots of credit from this task which kinda covered back the loss in last task. 

This task required good soccer skill, just the "ball" they were kicking was coconut, hence the task named nutty run.

Then, we went to the next station - baa baa black sheep at the goat farm area...and guess what, we need to catch the goat/sheep with our bare hand!!

You must be kidding, I was so scared because I never even touch goat/sheep even when I was in NZ. 

But we were smart, noticed that we shouldnt just chase towards the goat/sheeps, and working as 1 big team and trapped the goats/sheeps in the circle.

Ivy was really brave, she caught one sheep in the end and we earned extra credits again ^^

I dint take photo in this station because I was busy running around the farm lol.

Then after simple lunch provided, we continued with the 4th task - chipping practice, which without using hand, we need to eat the chips that placed on our forehead.

I took the voluntary to participate this task but was a bad mistake, because I only managed to eat one ==

The chips kept falling from my head, and my neck was soaring....TT

Next, the 5th task was the sumpit hero, contestants required to use the native hunting tool - sumpit (blow pipe) to hit the target provided.

Same as nutty run, i did not participate in this task as well because I was not confident enough to win. 
Bean and Ivy were doing well at this station, but at last I also got a chance to try out the blow pipe. It was kinda fun~

The last task - fruit frenzy is about finishing 1 big container of fruits in 5 mins time! 

Everyone have to participate in this station so I had tried my best to finish a big pear, 2 banana, 1 orange and few bites of apple...but still not manage to finish the whole container.==

Again, I was too busy to try to finish everything in that 5 mins so no photos....=S

So that's it for all the adventures, we had lots of fun although none of us won the prize...lol.

This week is a relaxing week to me after all, regardless I did come to work on previous Sunday then suffered Monday blue in the starting of the week.

My department seems to start a new culture in which we would dine out to celebrate colleagues' birthday since my birthday.

Today, we also pre-celebrate Pek Shan birthday!

The night continued at Burgetory~

Knowing that this burger restaurant is famous in SS15, and their pork burger is a heat! 

Wooohooo~ Pork burger! Of cause i love to get a try! 

I actually hesitate to pick my burger, because there are too many options and all of them looks good!

Look at the amount of burgers we ordered! Actually just 1 burger per person, fair enough....

Except Pek Shan ordering their traditional beef burger, all of us enjoying pork burger~

I like to have some spiciness tonight so I got myself one of the thumbs up labelled burger - Habanero Hot Lips 

The pork patties itself is super thick and juicy, topped with Scallops Lips, Tobiko, Bonito, Homemade Habanero Spicy Sauce.

The combination of the burger, especially using the bonito flakes looks interesting and I decided to give it a try,

I really love the scallops lips and the hot spicy habanero sauce though it is really very spicy and burned my tunk~

But, the fusion of all the ingredients really satisfying and I also like the apple waldorf salad!

Both Karen and Jacklyn ordered Porky Nest, which also looks nice. I actually have a small bite on Karen's but still prefer my habanero hot lips LOL. 

We were very loud and crazy tonight, I guess most of the people got a glance at our table and were rolling their eyes....hmmm

oh well, just like what pek shan said, ignore them and have fun~

I actually like the way she enjoy being herself and dont care how others view about her.

Oh no is September, here comes the month of celebration! 

Yes, because KC's big day is at the begining of the month, and mine at the end of the month.

I love September =)

After the early celebration few days ago, we threw KC another celebration, with just 4 of us~ Bean, Cheen, Me and the birthday boy~

I guess we really have fun today, we chat so much and have a good time that we forgot to take a group photo!! ><!!

We went to SS15 today as there is famous with various cafes and we hunted down 2 cafes in 1 afternoon!

First cafe we visited is at Tryst, where we found a parking space very soon. 

Surprisingly, their big breakfast is very cheap! All of us ordered the same dish~

RM13 with such a huge portion size! - I chose pancakes instead of toast, together with the Tryst breakfast platter.

The breakfast platter is super generous - 2 medium sized sausage, 1 hash brown, grilled chicken strips, ham, scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms, tomato and lettuce.

Flavor is general (I personally think big breakfast is a very safe dish, not very hard to fail, but very difficult to be very good), but with the generous serving size, thumbs up!

Only dissastifaction at Tryst, their smoothies are not available upon our visit, I was so tempted on trying their choco-banana smooties~

Then, perhaps it's weekend, the cozy dining space at ground floor is packed, and we had to move to second floor.

But we only found out second floor is actually smoking area, sitting at open aired area under this hot weather is so irritating.

Moreover, shisha is actually sold at Tryst, so people chose to enjoy this syrup tobacco at second floor. 

Well, is really depends on how people view and feel about this, but to me, I enjoy my meal, but not at this humid and hot opening area.

Oh well, none of us could tolerate this "hot" feeling, we decided to move to OW:L for the chilled bingsu~

It took us almost 15 mins to find a parking place, finding a car park indeed is a headache at this students area. 

Thank god we found one soon after decided to pay at the parking lot of Inti college's building where OW:L located.

Having shaved ice at this weather is a relief, though I found that their bingsu is really over-rated.

We were either over-estimated our dessert stomach or too greedy, we had 3 bingsu in one time!!

Mango cheese Bingsu - flavor overall is general, dont pick this if you looking for something special.

Lemon cheese Bingsu - at first we were confused if this is the mango cheese bingsu as they are both yellow and with cheese cake cubes~ Then, we tasted the bitter lemon zest and soon discovered it it the lemon flavor bingsu. 

I found it is too sweet, it would be better with more lemon refreshing sourness in the shaved ice. 

Fruit and yoghurt bingsu - this is my favourite among all three bingsu we ordered today.

I was hesitated to choose this, but this is life, usually the least option turned out to be great, just like this bingsu, I thought it is a very general flavored bingsu compared to others in the menu. 

However, this fruit bingsu is super refreshing! The watermelon bring out all the refreshness and chilled us down from the heat~

The sunflower seeds in the bingsu created the crunchy texture upon each bite of the shaved ice, and the overall flavor reminds me of 西米露 (a sago based milky dessert).

Then, the other photos from other foodies shared on the media at OW:L such as the green tea bingsu with red bean mochi, or the korean bingsu, coconut bingsu etc actually are more impressive (from the photo itself).

I guess next time then =)

My AM told me my company is good in terms of holding different events for the employees.

Well, to me, these company side activities are not new as I used to have so many small to big events in my ex-company.

However, since my AM mentioned that is not common for Malaysian companies (I doubted) to hold these events, let's just appreciate the time and have fun!

Actually this is the second time for my bowling session, and first ever bowling time in Malaysia =P

OK, I admit I am not that out-going and out-dated, I only get to bowl for the first time 2 yrs ago! 

I thought I may not able to bowl as I had the impression of the bowling ball is heavy that I could not carry it...==

Then, soon after I explore it, I actually quite enjoy playing it although I failed a lot....but I was happy to find out actually this activity is quite fun!

So I am still happy that company is holding this event to celebrate the success in SQMS audit~

They even prepared various medals for the participants, just to ensure everyone got one~

The event actually started at 4pm, which is during working hour, so I was super busy this morning, in order to finish up everything before 3.30pm.

Nonetheless, I still manage to attend on time =)

Yes, I did it!!.....379 score for the team!!! ....Nah.... Actually there were many of us unable to join today's event and the original arranged team had been regrouped. 

However, the names were not able to be changed (which is weird), so we just basically form our own team using the exisiting arranged lane, but using other's people name.

In fact this is my score @@ 91 for the team score, and my personal score - 49 for the first round, and 43 for teh second round. ==

I did not strike this time, which was not as lucky as previous first bowling in NZ. 

But I do think I have improved, somehow I am more confident to bowl this time. I guess I would become better after playing for more times. 

Fortunately, not all of us are good in bowling, which means there is no one to be blamed for lol XD

However, all of us really have a good time!

Look at this, I even won a medal! - The most brave team =.= what is this?!

Alright, at least I have some comfort gift, =)

There are actually a few nice event hosted by company this year, although actually my department only got invited because many people turned down the event.

Oh well, perhaps we are not invited initially, but I am cheap skate because I still got a free ticket and seats in LUXE cinema, why not?

The seats are so huge and comfy, and everyone of us got free large popcorn and drinks =)

Our big boss was giving boring speech again before kick-starting the movie.

Actually we were watching <Jurassic World>, so this was the second time I watched, but I dont mind because it was an entertaining movie after all.

Just the feeling to watch with other colleagues recalled how I watched <Despicable me 2> with Fonterra ex-colleagues in Palmy. 

Difference was just that's also count in colleague's family and the cinema is larger.

However, LUXE cinema is different, due to it special design and large seats, the cinema only can fit 20 - 30 audience. 

After movie, my AM and I decided to go for dinner, and we jumped into the Jumping Bean Cafe ^^

This recently opened cafe is actually not very popular, I wonder how long it would be last.

The cafe is famous with their sweet toast box, but we decided to go for dinner rather than dessert.

I had this - egg on toast, ordered it simply because the egg really attractive.

But honestly, the egg is overcooked, too dry...and the toast is too thick for the thin layer of egg.

I also have their signature drink - summer fruit punch tea..

It is just simply a mixture of summer fruit, not too sweet, but not good to be claimed as signature tho.

The food here overall is quite pricy, and not very attractive, however I have not tried their famous dessert, ie sweet dessert toast or those waffles...

Oh well, it will be next time then. 

How great is this! I got to off from work early because QA department passed the SQMS audit with flying colors and all executives are welcomed for their celebration!

Their celebration is big this year, at least we had 2 events in a run.

First, we got to play the escape dungeon for free! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Escape Dungueon is a live escape room game, I only knew this game when my colleagues were talking about it once when we had lunch.

And today I got to play this fun game =D Thanks for the effort on scoring the SQMS, QA rocks! (of cz R&D is still the best! =P)

So this Escape Dungueon is located at a shop lot (2nd and 3rd level) at SS15, which is very close to where I work.

I'm impressed that how they designed the game at this limited space and using very cheap material and creative tricks.

We only got to play 2 games because we arrived late due to our busy workload.

The games we played are "trap" and "Ruin of Darnation"...and I am shameful to say: WE LOSE!!! =( so sad...

we were actually very very close to escape...but we were too detailed, and looked into unnnecessary things, then overlooked very easy clues which were right in front of us.

Oh well, that's game: there are winners, of cause there will have losers....

Thank god we were not the only losers =S

Then we continued the celebration at Italiannies for dinner.

Apparently 'someone' had ordered so many dishes (well, is company treat...) but just for trying purpose and kept passing these dishes to us for "sharing" purpose.

However, our big boss is not very pleased with wastage, so we must swell up every single dishes right at front of us even tho not ordered by us.

So, we had finished dishes which we ordered, but also need to clear dishes which 'someone' ordered for 'sharing' purpose.

Oh well, what to do? We love food, we have to appreciate them too.

As for review, I rate 3 out of 5. The portion is big enough, and come with many varieties too. However, the food is just normal.

However, good to have meal in a western restaurant especially when I not need to pay a single penny. =)

Life is good.

 I cant believe that there are so many people around me are borned in May and June.

Perhaps it could be a good reason for gathering, we always celebrate Gemini's birthday together since sometimes ago.

I actually just firstly joined this event as I've been in overseas in the past years.

We celebrated birthday for 7 beautiful girls whose horoscopes are gemini this year at Primos.

and there are 5 of us which include myself whose birthday either had passed or still far away to come....

oh pls ignore the person who wanna joined in at the back...lol

Yi mei had bought the colorful jelly cupcakes to replace the traditional birthday cake this year.

Well, actually these are nt cupcakes, but truly jelly from the top to the bottom layer.

Taste was just like normal jelly, but all of us had fun taking photos with them.

Once again, wish all the Gemini babies a happy blessing birthday!
