There are actually a few nice event hosted by company this year, although actually my department only got invited because many people turned down the event.
Oh well, perhaps we are not invited initially, but I am cheap skate because I still got a free ticket and seats in LUXE cinema, why not?
The seats are so huge and comfy, and everyone of us got free large popcorn and drinks =)
Our big boss was giving boring speech again before kick-starting the movie.
Actually we were watching <Jurassic World>, so this was the second time I watched, but I dont mind because it was an entertaining movie after all.
Just the feeling to watch with other colleagues recalled how I watched <Despicable me 2> with Fonterra ex-colleagues in Palmy.
Difference was just that's also count in colleague's family and the cinema is larger.
However, LUXE cinema is different, due to it special design and large seats, the cinema only can fit 20 - 30 audience.
After movie, my AM and I decided to go for dinner, and we jumped into the Jumping Bean Cafe ^^
This recently opened cafe is actually not very popular, I wonder how long it would be last.
The cafe is famous with their sweet toast box, but we decided to go for dinner rather than dessert.
I had this - egg on toast, ordered it simply because the egg really attractive.
But honestly, the egg is overcooked, too dry...and the toast is too thick for the thin layer of egg.
I also have their signature drink - summer fruit punch tea..
It is just simply a mixture of summer fruit, not too sweet, but not good to be claimed as signature tho.
The food here overall is quite pricy, and not very attractive, however I have not tried their famous dessert, ie sweet dessert toast or those waffles...
Oh well, it will be next time then.
