Lol, I felt so sorry to Bean, but we had so much fun that night.
It was such a random event, random as in I was invited by Bean's colleagues for her birthday celebration.
Well, though the invitation was mentioned by Bean but I felt an honour to join them as I only hang out with them once during the U-first adventure
But I did love to hang out with them, felt like I have entered another world as all of them have such a unique characters and most importantly they are fun to deal with.
We had the celebration at Mr. Dakgalbi at Setia City mall, which was recently opened and welcomed by lots of big eaters.
You guess it right, they served korean sizzling which they cooked all the kimchi marinade meat together with vege,tteokbokki and ramen.
Frankly speaking, I never have much chance to have such Korean original style of hot plate meal because NZ barely could find them, so I was really grateful I was able to have this.
Especially when they putting in the ramen into the hot plate, OMG, I really wanna shout out loud!
Though I had quit eating instant noodle, but I really couldnt resist the korean instant ramen, they are too good to turn down.
High speed stirring technique is highly required, otherwise we would end up eating charcoal.
The foreign workers are trained well, the ramen indeed yummy~
The ramen blend really well together with the sauce, and the meat are well grilled, not too dry and they absorbed the sauce very well.
I really enjoyed the meal, but to be honest, 3 ppl to share for this plate is not really full if you are big eater.
I am sorry that I am a big eater ==, but thankful that the rice came in after this:
This korean guy perhaps is the owner, and Bean's colleagues kept stalking him lol, I was asked to take his photo by them because they just enjoyed watching him ==
He is not just good looking (but for sure not my type), also good in grilling the rice.
You see how sticky is the rice together with the remaining little meat and sauce.......impressive....
Then, the "main" turned up, I think Bean's colleagues are really lovely, they prepared a cake together with a very pricy gift.
Though the 30 decor was really funny, Bean was mad but also happy when saw the 30 candle, while I was still out of the blue, because I thought bean was really turning 30 ==
what the hell I was thinking, I am not reaching 30 yet! I must be too tired lol
But I made lot of fun with Bean hehe. I really honoured to have you as my best fren, you actually lightened up my life heaps which you might not know.
Thankful you had aged for another year, and stay by my side in another year =D
I guess you deserved all the treats tonight, you must be surprised with the super pricy and fancy perfume gift that you dream to own it, but we knew why we gifted you because we love you!
Bean's colleagues shared a gift for her, and they actually counted me in at first to share the gift.
It was DKNY pink perfume, I am not really into perfume but I do know bean is a crazy perfume seeker, so luckily we made a good choice to buy this brand that bean would not deny.
As I said they counted me in initially, I actually was exempted from this sharing gift, because I had bought lots of gift for Bean when I was in Taiwan.
Bean yelled at me: You are so rich ah? Bought so many things for me?!
My dear, I am not rich, but my biggest asset is have you as my bestie! =)
Actually I thought of Bean so many times when I saw certain stuffs in Taiwan, my brain appeared: Oh bean will like this...
You can tell how close I am with her, and how much I love her =.=
Oh well, I am nt leaving with bare hand tonight, I got a free mask because Mr. Dakgalbi offered us when our bill exceed certain amount.
