Ok, is September now! Time FLIES!

this month will definitely filled with joy and fun, regardless of the stress and effort to celebrate, we will live it with great memoriesI =D

So, we start with Jessie's birthday dinner, ooah, it fall on the same day as my best fren's one, wish I could celebrate for him as well. Oh well, one day we will =)..

Jessie was such a great mate, her best fren, Julia, purposely take an 8-hour bus from Auckland down to Palmy to celebrate for her, wow! That's touching! Therefore, we organized a birthday gathering tonight, only flatmates were invited, =P (as suggested by the birthday queen, yes, too complicated...)

We made alot of delicious food, everyone contributed their talented cooking skills and effort, and Jessie got many varieties of meal from her mates at Uni during lunch, and she save them for tonight ==....but those food really GOOD!! Ok, we had pasta from Qing, dumplings from Geng (and we participated in the wrapping process), and the soy sauce pork from myself =) (the middle one in the left row).. Of cz we cant miss the wine, haha, I picked a great one, is so fruity!

Well, the dinner is "large", so we dint finish all of them, as we still have dessert....the cake!! Yes, and I am responsible for the cake obviously =P. I baked a lemon delight cheese cake for Jess, but not very skillful on decorating it, just make use of the pre-made chocolate chips. Oh well, as long as it looked good, and the queen love it! Hmm, should consider get great equipment instead wondering around 2 dollars shop to get a cheap, but faulty baking decoration-ware.

SO, that's the cake and the Queen~

The cake tasted good, but it should be taste best...well, i figured out why, I beated the egg whites too short....and probably some of the ingredients dint mixed well....therefore, is abit runny I think....

IMG_1856.JPG

but well, overall, it's still taste good! and I really happy that everyone enjoyed it...And it gone the next day, phew...is a massive cake, and just 5 of us....=S

Ok let's have the final shot, birthday gone, but memories remains.... A very great shot of all of us, and the members of 40 south st!

Once again, Happy Birthday Jessie! and also Kok chin in India, I just realized I dint really ever celebrate ur birthday, til we meet again ya ^^

And celebrations coming up? We have: Rugby world cup!, Mid autumn (moon cake) festival, IPC spring festival, my birthday =) and jessie's farewell (that's a sad one)....and probably more undiscovered events?? hmmm, wonderful September, I am happy I am able to be born on the last day of this month! Thanks mum =)

ok, is time, for Guena...She is leaving in 2 days, tomorrow will be her last day in NZ, so we decided to have a farewell for her

but actually I come late tonite, as I already made a promise to go Michelle's house for dinner!

Then, we had a movie night =), watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (starring Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey)

Well, the movie overall is nice, you can guest, happy ending, with comedy and love story....Not silly love love movie, but just not worth enough to spend on the movie tickets. So I am happy to sit on the couch to watch DVD =)

After the movie, thanks to Emily, I arrived Brewers safely. Brewers' environment actually not too bad, but still, I am not a club or pub person...

would rather write my blog with my lovely wine at home =)

But for Guena, is worthwhile.! I am lucky to have met you guys, and orianne and Marianne. You guys just lovely! =)

Yes, until we meet again, at Paris?? Perhaps, my dream city!! Take care, my fren!

rainbow = promise, which means if u see a rainbow, that's a promise~

Last year during ski trip at queenstown, we made a promise that we will go for ski trip together again this year, our promise was reminded by the 3 rainbows we saw on the same day!

however, I guest promise sometimes in meant to be broken, hehe, negative right? But indeed we couldnt make it, as hueyyee back malaysia, jen and jo at south island, wann zhen at auckland and me alone in palmy. I was hoping that it is possible for us to make it, but....well

wann zhen texted me on the last minute to go for ski trip 2 weeks ago, and ya, what u expect??

so, eventually I went to ski trip with my colleagues, but is not a ski trip for me, as I hurt my back last week, so I decided to skip it. Well actually I am quite regret to go with them.

I felt so lonely sitting in the cold and wet bench, surrounded by the snow and chilly air and freezing rain....while everyone were having fun with the snow~

I rang up sze abit, but it only last for an hour, and for the remain hours, I did nothing.....

my feet was so cold, and I felt uncomfortable with the cold and loneliness, what the heck I am doin here!?

and ya, is a wrong group of people to go with, I am thinking, eventho my back is fine, I will be left out as I am not skillful as them, as most of them are europeans....As asian, we are definitely lose in physical~

oh well, is a good lesson to learn, must be more consider next ski trip, if I still have the chance...

I missed ski trip last yr at the remarkables, despite of how I hate the ski boot, it so tight and hurt my feet!! Well, I am glad that at least I have a very good ski experience last yr, and this yr ski trip made me more appreciate the last ski trip i have =)

ok, no ski for me, but one photo to prove that I am at the ski field~

and last, whakapapa ski field is the largest ski field in nz, but it is not beautiful as the wonderful remarkables field at Queenstown, and sooo crowded!!

I am still feeling better to skip the ski this time. =)

good choice of picking this movie, but bad decision to go this movie with them....(my colleague and her cousin, and her tempting guy, darn!)

Well, I enjoyed the movie, but the people sitting beside me are really irritating.

Ok, back to the movie, I had watched Planet of the apes in cinema in Malaysia years ago with my family, and for sure it was a great movie, with the scary ending. So thumbs up for the director to create an original prequel for planet of apes, and I only come to realized Planet of apes was filmed once ages ago too since it was based on a popular novel. =)

The movie is entertaining, regardless of the simple and predictable story line, I did enjoy every moment of it. (although somehow is quite illogic)

Caesar is very smart, so smart, but who turned him into this? Is human!

and then, is human again, who wanna shoot him and take his life...well, is smart for human to create medicine which can cure Alzheimer's disease, but used chimpanzee for ur trials, any animal welfare??

and is this considered against the nature rules??

ok, I am overthinking, but who knows someone, some company at the corner of this world are doing such thing?? I wont suprise~

I guest there will be another following film but still a prequel for planet of apes, but I guest it will be interesting, how eventually they will dominate earth? and how people turned out become slaves? Hmm, i wonder is it because those apes are too smart, so eventually they also dominate other planet, that's why there is a planet of apes! wow~ Imagination is so cool! haha
