真的只要做好我自己的部分就好了，结果是如何又怎样，只要我已经尽我所能，做好自己那一块，我就不在乎了。。。
原来不要抱太大的期许是对的。。。平常心。。。。。
SO...we finally had dinner at the gallery....yea, is a restaurant's name...
indeed, the food appearance looked appealing and pleased my appetite, but well, is neither filling, nor taste good...
some of them might be great, but probably the order could be better.
Curry chicken in a western restaurant is somehow, no, is obviously a very stupid idea, THINK!
I dont understand why u must get rid of the coupon by used it up so well, wonderful financialist, but poor for ur stomach
and why u want ruined our ever western dine out meal?
Plus, is not ur coupon, and not your invitation! Come on, i would never dine out with u again, the only once dinner at the gallery, which messed up my ever experience...
I know is past tense, I know, I am complaining, yes, I could not change the outcome....oh well, is a good lesson~
I wonder, the food ranking might be higher and the sastifaction will definitely met if u were not here.....
今晚太多云了，所以今年中秋没明月~
刚刚在面对面用膳了，才发现其实它的小点也还好罢了，不过现在总算知道了
其实今年没吃很多月饼，连冰皮月饼都制作失败了！唉，谁叫我们没模具！
都把月饼捏成mochi了~然后传统月饼也是今天总算才吃到一小块。。。
酥皮月饼也吃了，但也没很好吃，总结今年中秋：dissatified!
或许，少了身边的家人才是导火线吧。。。终于身临其境：独在异乡为异客，每逢佳节倍思亲~
Yeahhhhh! finally I am able to make my own macaroon! Thanks for the destiny, thanks for able to meet up some frenchs, and thanks sophie and sara!!
You guys are really awesome, today baking day is the MAX!!! WOOOAH!!
Now I eventually realized how difficult to make macaron, how details for every steps, how precise for the time, how accurate for the numbers!
with sophie's direction, of cause I learnt to make macaron from the begining! Haha, I forgot to take the photo of the initial ingredients....=P And straight away jump to the macaroon caps making step.
so this is macaroon caps before baking, actually I found it hard to squeeze from the plastic bag, but haha sooner or later I could pick up the skill, and actually we need to let them "rest" as longer time (at least 1hr) as possible, the longer time they set for "breath", the better and smoot appearance they get! However, due to the time constrainst, we just left for 1 hr and half, then back to oven for 11 mins...
after around 10mins.....tada~
well, the first batch is not really good, with cracked appearance, and soggy texture, so we baked the second batch for 1 minute extra, see! How detailed and specific the baking time affect the outcome!
and yes, it proved that the baking time is also a main factor for the successful macaron! the second batch did look better !!
and we also made the filling ourselves, this was the caramel filling, and we also made a chocolate filling (I dint take photo, ooppsy), and today I only figured out caramel is so easy to make!(again, the goodness of food product development!!)
then, place the caramel filling on the macaron caps, and then just close up like cookies....
done!!!
me and sara were so satisfied with our first home made macaron!! (and ya, sara only first knew macaron from this baking day!), and notes: the pussy cat behind me was sleeping so deeply in the rainy day =)
Besides macarons, we also made fondue and chocolate thruffle!!! WOOOAH!! We really knew how to use up every single little thing!!!
And yup the photos on top were the baking process of chocolate fondue, which is also a french dessert! NICE!!

Again, I went to a trip with sophie and sara, but different is, it was a day trip, and another new french gal from Fonterra joined us!
We went to the bird park at somewhere (oopssy I forgot the place again...because I always sleep in the car, and I do always leave the journey to sophie and sara, hmmm I am wondering if they want to kidnap me, is just a piece of cake!)
we stop at eketahuna for a bit, and found this massive kiwi bird, as the main highlight today is to see the kiwi bird at the bird park, so we decided to take photos with this giant kiwi! And see, it wear all blacks too!!! The rugby world cup heat is spreading everywhere!
Then we arrived the bird park, and walked around, eventually we also done an hour of tramping, walked through the nature jungle and bush~
And of cause, the birds and kiwi!!! But, actually we dint get to see a lot of them, and many displays were actually empty....So kinda not worth to pay 20 dollars for the park. Anyway, I finally see alive kiwi for the first time!?, I seriously not sure if I saw them before at south island, anyway, they are very cute!!!
They had to stay under dim red light all time, and they move very frequently, so is actually very hard to capture them with the lens....This is the only clear photo we able to get.
and the bird park also hatched the kiwi, well we missed the time when the little baby kiwi born, sigh...anyway, i can imagine how fragile they are to be stayed in this small hatching box....
So, after the kiwi park, we had lunch, then move on to the next stop: the OTAKI GORGE!!!
This brigde is really scary!!! And I actually really inconfident to walk across the gorge, omg!!
u see the holes!!! You see what underneath!!! And from the photo, it looked like the bridge is close to the gorge, but actually it is not, it is so HIGH!!!! And to date: is a suspension bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really believe myself that I have acrophobia....(fear of heights) now....I was being pushed and encouraged to walk, still remember sara, sophie and eveanne shouted at me: vivian u can do it!! come on, is safe!! Look at the view, is so beautiful!! dont look down, look at the view! .....haha thanks gals!!! =) I am impressed and proud of myself
so I walked, and sara just followed closely after me, to ensure I am alright, thanks sara, u were so sweet! And u can see, the bridge is so long, and I really not dare to look down, or even the view, just hold the handrial very tightly.....==
But luckily sophie took some photos of the amazing gorge!
I am so proud of myself, so on the way back, I finally confident enough to stand, and ask sophie for taking a photo of me!!! XD
and we also saw little white lamb on our way back!! SO CUUUUTE
and also moon in a day!
