It should be named the international spring festival, however, I prefer the previous name, with the japanese national flower, held in a japanese college, fair enough right??

Apparently, they decided to change the festival name due to last year incident. Last year, it was coincidentally fell on the same Saturday with chinese mid autumn festival, and yes, chinese (ok to be specific, i mean mainland chinese) were very sensitive with the japanese culture and they actually refused to celebrate both festivals on the same day. However, I have no idea how hashed was last year event went off, and I just don't care.

All I want is just see the sakuras!!!!

But, the weather was really very bad, it din't really make up its mind, so I had been considering to go or not for the entire morning while watching my Arashi's show and looking at the suddenly cloudy, suddenly sunny sky.....

Moreover, there's an potluck event in the night at jessie's friend, slyvia's house. Well, and we need to prepare the dish together, so eventually we only took the bus at 3pm, and we arrived nearly half pass 3. And guest what? We just mildly caught up with the closing ceremony with japanese taiko....

And, obviously, we dint manage to get a very good seat, haha =P But i still felt lucky to be able to watch and listen to the energertic and fantastic taiko!

We were surrounded by the whole japanese community, haha, it just somehow felt like I was in Japan @@ Too bad, I couldn't say japanese, or else, I would definitely go to Japan!!

The food were sold out pretty early I guest as we found no more Japanese food after we arrived, well, was lucky to able to buy a box of sushi~ But pretty obvious was from the store at Plaza or downtown, not a fancy one, but matched with the atmosphere!

Then, we were so looking forward with the sakura rows beside the lake, but well, I guest the weather this year did not make it, it was too early for hanami (Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of cherry blossoms), cause the sakura had not bloomed yet!! TT SAD!!!

Nevertheless, we still caught a few photos....

IMG_2227.JPG

as u can see, the entire sakura rows were very "empty"....

IMG_2226.JPG

the dry rose can be beautiful too! <3

IMG_2238.JPG

haha, this was the only blossomed sakura tree we able to find!

That's all for the sakura festival, then we went to slyvia's house at summer hill, which is actually a farm! Her parents in law pet so many different types of animals, such as sheep, chicken, and a beautiful bird type animal which I forgot what it called....

IMG_2245.JPG

IMG_2250.JPG

it is so beautiful, just like a peacock, but I forgot the name....

IMG_2263.JPG

can u see those sheeps at the bottom of the hill? It was so edgy and dangerious when I took this photo, but I was so impressed with the farm, and I was actually wearing gumboot when I took this photo! =)

It was fun to visit slyvia's farm, well her parent's in law farm, living there were so nice, which was a very good place for retirement!

Then, is dinner time!! (Regardless we had used almost 2 hours to prepare the meal!!)

IMG_2266.JPG

There's like 10 of us, and we had so much of food!!! Definitely too much, and we did bring some back home....As u can see, where there's chinese, there's dumplings!!! Somehow I am getting sick of these, lol.

IMG_2268.JPG

and yes, since an indian couple come, we got indian food too...actually I still prefer they cooked indian curry despite of the unpleasant smell =P

IMG_2265.JPG

Slyvia's son is definitely the highlight of the night, this hyperactive kid is so cute, but yes, very annoying to me, I guest I still not very good at coping with children, even though I had an younger brother who is 9 years apart from me. =P

So the end of dinner, but begining of spring! Welcome back the sunny weather! =D

have a great conversation with huey yee just now, finally!

yea, since she start working, she dint really often on msn, so tonight, I purposely have a "date" with her.

we have a long chat just now, I also eventually realized her working environment, and slightly have a sort of mind how's Malaysia working environment works..

Apparently, I would said her work is not equal with her salary, is too much.. I don't mind have that type of job, going early and come back late, but the payment is not able to compensate my effort! Yes, is always the salary problem, why??

anyway, I am glad that huey yee enjoyed her work, working environment, as she got many friendly colleagues, well I mean if u are at home, what u are not able to overcome?

I am glad that she also able to understand my pain, and deal with my emo minded character, great to have her tonight. =)

haha, I love tried out new recipes, and for ochazuke is really simple!

Because all u need is just rice, with pre-made rice seasoning (include seaweed, and bonito flakes, sesame seeds..etc), then I add an egg too, (heat via microwave), then pour in japanese tea!! (I used genmaicha), yes, is just like rice in tea!

And u may think is weird, but actually it works!! I can directly feel the simple but healtiness of the dish!  DAISUKI DES!!!

when I said take it easy, means don't take it too serious....

well, somehow, this is the summary of my day, and i think take it easy is my goal, my way to deal with "life"

I acknowledged that life is wonderful, and it is because it contained so many unexpected components: people's attitude and action

I been telling myself: you can't made everyone happy, and now I would tell myself that: Do not predict people's action and do not expect people always treat you nice, the most important note is: Don't think yourself is important!

yes, everyone is important.....to themselves. I always thought that people are self-fish, and now I also think it that way.

So, from now on, learn to be stronger against mean words, mean attitude, mean action... TAKE IT EASY, the happy way to deal with life at the moment.

p/s: I am very emo these few days, mayb because of the weather, OK, I might just making excuses, that's nonsense....well, but that's the way I learn to live....as I said, people is unpredictable....

which letter you will go for?? Ok, u might wonder what's this for?

K-----means K-POP, which is korean pop music, korean pop artists/group, so J is the same thing, but meant for Japanese....

So can u answer my question?

haha, or u can give me C: Chinese or T: Taiwanese or even H?? (hong kong), oh, pls dont pull in the western world....

I actually enjoyed both of them, regardless of I don't know Japanese or Korean, music is the issue, dance is the point!!

For me, I enjoy K pop dance, but Japanese songs.

Myself started engaged with Korean music since 2006 when I was exposed with the famous Korean variety show: Love letter, and of cause impressed by the crazy song "rising sun" by TVXQ..and then, I started love korean music!

I love the way the dance, and the ironic tone and flow of song, and haha, I dont even look at the translated lyrics!

SO i just watch the music video, and listen to the mp3. With music, you not need communication!=)

Love the powerful effect of K-POP, and recently really love the way they made it more electrical, and high beated, wave dances!

But sooner or later, I discovered J-POP, and paid more attention to it. Love Utada Hikaru, Arashi, Mika Nakashima songs....and more...of cz

J-pop is more soft and comfortable, sometimes do make a balance with K-pop, and I am more interested on j-pop honestly.

Probably because I love Japan ey!?
