Well it was not that bad at all which was not I unable to sleep well, it was just too much fun that I couldnt help but stay awaken for almost 24 hrs...

It was such a long day for me, I swear I am not going to be cheap and take international flight from Wellington if in the end I still need to fly via Auckland.

U might have considered how stupid am I, for just saving perhaps 50 dollars, I ruined my sleep and woke up 3am this morning to prepare get on the bus departing to Wellington at 4.50am.

I was really pissed of myself, why??! Luckily i slept after I hopped on the bus and in the end i dint save much as I took a taxi to airport! I just couldnt border go to the bus stop to catch the air-flyer to wellington airport.

For readers who confused, here is the story...I bought a Wellington - Perth flight ticket instead of Auckland - Perth ticket as I wanna save money from getting a bus ticket from Palmy to Wellington which cost me NZD20 instead of getting flight ticket from Palmy to Auckland which cost me NZD100 +, but actually the Wellington - Perth flight is just an extra flight from Wellington - Auckland, the final transport way to Perth is the same. So perhaps I saved around NZD50 (given that i paid NZD20 for taxi to airport), I have to wait for 3 hrs at Wellington airport for the flight to Auckland because I planned to arrive that earlier in case the bus broke down on the road, on some incident just happened (I am over thinking right?), well the point is I COULD NOT MISS THIS FLIGHT!!! So, i ruined my sleep, and waste my time for waiting, the end....=S

Oh well, is passed anyways. This was also the first time taken AIR NZ international flight. The seats are very comfy and I did sleep for sometimes during this 7 hrs flight. The food was ok and entertainment was not bad. I was lucky enough to sit by the window and no one beside me!! Yeah!! This is ideal for me as I can get off to the rest room easily without requiring people get out from their seats too =).

and above were the meal I being served, the main lunch was a lamb with rice with complimentary food, then later few hrs followed by an afternoon tea with just 2 bread-like food and some fruits.

I arrived Perth in the evening and waited Nicky for nearly 2 hrs at Perth airport. Well, just realized how expensive in life in Aussie.

This stupid small and nothing special mineral water cost me 4 Aussie dollars!!

Well, anyways it was dinner time upon my arrival and I met Adeline for dinner at a korean restaurant. Then we went to this nice place named : 'Little Creatures' at Fremantle, where is famous with its well-preserved architectural heritage and beaches.

Little creatures is famous with it own brewed beer, and just amazing their brewery just inside the restaurant and we can just drink their fresh brewed beer directly from the brewery tap!

I ordered the famous in hse pilsner and shared a warm bread pudding with Adeline. Actually I am not a big fan of warm/hot dessert, oh well this one was alright, still I am not a fan of warm dessert =P

This is a romantic places for couple and relaxing places to cheer out with frens. Have a very good talk with Adeline since we farewelled at Auckland airport 1 year ago, time passed so fast and such dramatic changes to both of us. Really happy to meet an old fren at a new place, the experience was just amazing and unbelievable. I hope she can decide her future path and be strong for the upcoming life waiting afront of her. The night did not end with just little creatures, I went out with Nicky and her frens to China town for supper at 1am!!

Guess what, we ate and only finished our night nearly 4am!! Couldnt believe how I stood the whole night with listening all the conversations and oily food surrounding me....but it was a good night!

I just unable to concentrate at work these days, well I guess I already lose my passion and focus since I made that decision.

The point is I am going home soon for CNY of cause!!!, as promised to my parents and relatives last year. So I am actually leaving tomorrow, to Perth first before I back home prior CNY.

Was telling Nicky so many times I wanna go visit her since I left Uni, but then plenty of excuses popped up. However, finally this time I am coming to Perth, so excited now! Hope all the journey will be smooth as I need to transit 2 times before arrival in Perth.

FYI, I have to catch the Intercity bus at 4.45am tomorrow (yes, is AM) to Wellington. From Wellington, I am flying with Air NZ to Auckland, then Perth. So it will be like around 7hrs flight, oh my….but with Air NZ (plus international flight), I am looking forward =) This also will mark my first International flight with Air NZ.

Weather had been real good these days and will be brilliant in following days as well as told by the weather man. So I also had packed my luggage etc, pls forgive me that I did not bring much NZ souvenirs this time as I need to try to fit as much things that I want to leave it at home for good this time as I could. I guess it would be helpful (probably only a little bit…=S) for me during July. If I got u confused and doubted, please refer back to my previous post about my decision.

Anyways, I am coming home!! See u guys soon~

The foodie weekend continued today with such a lovely sunny day!!

Gone to Wellington Sunday market for food!!

The mexican burito was so goood!!

I explored so much of good stuffs this weekend, thanks to Chyi Mei...

Also found another good spot for macarons~

so tomorrow is Wellington anniversary day, guess what? Palmy shared the public holiday too!! SO I am off tomorrow!! Yes, will have a late-waken Monday morning then!

well the title just listed what i've been doing for today, such a productive weekend for me.

I spent today with ChyiMei and Ameline at Otaki and Wellington suburb without a plan..great day!

Was actually staying overnight with ChyiMei (finally) last night, and heard so many nice stories from her previous Japan trip (i am super jealous >m<)

she also kindly gifted me these:

A koinobori!! Now I could hang something relavant to Japan in my room (really random...lol), and also a japanese green tea kit-kat (of cz Japan), and a very yum half-mocha, half-azuki bean candy!

While today, we went to Penrays for strawberries picking!

Ameline and Chyi actually explored this special place last week, and they were so addicted with the strawberries~

well although eating were not allowed, some ppl still ignored the board and ate as much as they could, guess who are them? Asian (to be specific, Singaporean)...typically, but seriously shame of u!

there were not many strawberries plants, some of the rows were closed for next week picking, and many ppl actually come for strawberry picking~

I was happy to able to pick strawberries by myself for the first time too, but never expect the strawberries were so yummy!!
They are so juicy and soft, not all were sweet, some were actually sour or tasteless, but i am very happy with what i got!

I ended up bought 1.6kg of strawberries with only NZD6/kg price! Super cheap!! Strawberries used to be sold in 250g punnet in supermarket with the cheapest price was NZD1.79 (which I found out).

I also bought one local produced zucchini, it was so cool when i able to pluck the zucchini from the plant, a very real experience!haha XD

Then we gone to Stephan's, a swiss restaurant for lunch.

Love the environment and food, my fish of the day was really fresh and yummy.

We spent sometimes for an afternoon tea too, gosh the teapot was really elegant and fancy~

I was impressed with the selections of tea Stephan's provided, the menu was amazing, and the photo just showed a quarter of it, it was 2 pages long! (with heaps of words)

My cherry blossom tea was quite nice, with strong odour but nt really strong taste. Matched the slices we ordered very well.

We ordered a slice of cookies n creme cheese cake and a lemon tart...perhaps i had higher demand when come to dessert, they were just alright.

Anyways, the afternoon meal time at Stephan's was amazing and relaxing!

Well, i think we just eat and eat, berries, lunch, cakes, and then dinner!!

Gone to Pandan for the famous curry~

Tada~ curry was very yummy!!! And definitely Malaysian home-made curry, they even served the Klang famous curry...wow i never knew Klang for famous indian curry...><

And the sambal chyi ordered was so HOTTTT! Even me, who proud of my capability to take spicy food also given up!

LOL...

Anyways, good food with reasonable price, no complaint but a lot of thumbs!!!

P/S: I also bought another local designer's fancy dress, with a very fancy price (but it was actually on sale tho, nvm. hahaha)

i gone to fishing again! But this time is at the harbour instead of going to deep sea area

trip today also resulted better compared to the last one as none of us having seasick! Yeah!

Besides, we no longer need the annoying fishing gear this time as we were not after big sea fishes.

haha, actually i did take 2 seasick pills before i went on the same fishing boat, but i guess the sea was real calm tonight...

yep, we gone for night fishing trip!! Sound fun and a bit...scary? haha

well summer in NZ did save us some light, the dark night didnt come until 9 ish pm, leave with us clear vision and brilliant sight for catching fishes~

this outfit save me from the coldness aproached us in sudden around 8pm..

I also spotted lots of jelly fishes this time!!

Got more fishing attempts for this trip, felt like i am capable to attain the fishing skill, lol

well, thought i caught fishes for many times, end up was so many tangles as we were really closely standing with each other...

around 20ppl in the boat, plus not a big one.

He was the winner of today, elder son of  my colleague, Karen. He caught a manificant elepant fish!

and his younger brother got the most luck for this trip, caught 6 fishes!!!

Well, thought luck was not with me this time, but patience paid off!!

Sergey and Pramond was telling me: 'Vivian, i think u caught a fish..', I was like reeling back the fishing rod and doubting as I had been through tangles after tangles

and then, out of my expectation...i caught a sea perch (or called scarpee)

although i just caught one for the whole trip but still happy that i caught the first fish in my life!!

Proud of myself hehe =P

note: we eventually caught like around 20 fishes, but everyone was just having perhaps 200-300g of fillet due to the tiny size of the fishes...and i dint get mine as i gave them specially for chyimei..=) hope them tasted good!!
