Today is the last day in Malacca before we head back to reality.
We started with a breakfast at Siang Jiang kopitiam where Derrick said they sell good rice dumplings. We waited for around 10 – 15 mins for a table too, it was crowded even in the early morning. Apparently I searched on the websites and there are not much information, seems like not many outsider know this kopitiam.
We ordered a small nyonya Pai Tee, and a laksa. The laksa is quite delicious.
Braised chicken feet, not bad.
Wai Ee favorite bread toast, she approved it.
We also went to Baba and Charlie Nyonya store to get more Nyonya kuih, driving here is extremely stressful, the pathway is so narrow, and so many cars kept coming in.
Honestly, I think their kuih was over-rated, I don’t think I will drop by on my next visit.
I think today mainly is just eat as much as we could before leaving the eatery town.
We went to Nancy for proper nyonya lunch.
I still prefer the nyonya food from Desmond’s house, more flavorful and authentic. Nancy’s is slightly commercial and pricy.
That’s summarized our first crazy gang trip, hopefully we still have the chance to travel again.
