weekend getaway part 2 - Let's go Malacca－C'est LA viE

Wake up in the morning feeling like "Malacca", yes we are going to Malacca today!

Look at the scene this morning, is so much different from last night.

weather today looks brilliant, I am enjoying the sea view with my book before we check out.

Our first stop at Malacca is at the famous Klebang original coconut shake place, coconut drink is always my favourite for all time, ranked top almost the same as bubble tea.

Besides the yummy coconut shake, we also ordered lots of kuih muih, for Rika to taste.

Malacca indeed a tourism spot, the Klebang was super packed, we hardly found an available table, and had long queue just for paying our food.

After the coconut shake, we gone to Jonker street to look for the yummy laksa.

Same as Klebang, traffic jam was encountered here, we spent some times to look for parking, but we were lucky, we got one near the river.

I noticed there is something different from my last visit.

This colorful blocks near the river, so nice =)

Of cause wouldnt miss out the river, too bad for Rika, it is really smelly here~

We found the laksa place, but it was crowded and we are not really that hungry, so we decided to chill at a cafe first.

We picked Geographer cafe, I thought this famous cafe shud have something nice, but i think I was wrong.

Perhaps they serve good main, but their drinks are way too expensive and not worthy

Oh well, just a chill relaxing time. Maybe come for their famous tom yum next time.

Finally, we got to taste the famous Kahwin Laksa~

My favourite laksa all time! never forget this taste since last try~

As for the normal curry laksa was not that great, better choose the kahwin or nyonya laksa.

The chendol, one of the must eat at here (Jonker 88), but to be honest, it is not really that yummy. Go for the famous one at Penang road in Penang island, it is better than this.
