Went for a day trip today with Kylie, well those Uni students are having sem-break now, lucky them

so we planned for a day trip to welly to visit the zoo!!!

woohoo, such a long time since last time I was in the zoo...erm, probably when I was in high school??

Well, I am not claiming myself as an animal lover, but still very excited to go to the zoo!!haha

Actually not just Kylie, Shirley, Yen, Xin and another new fren, Anges joined us too! More ppl, more fun!!

So Kylie and I bought an earlier bus ticket, 5.30am!!!! Because both of us are not going to stay for overnight, the remain of them will stay overnight at Lower hutt

Therefore, we bought the earliest ticket in order to get the most time in Welly.

This was the 3rd time Kylie visited Welly, compared to her, I was not that excited in terms of getting various Asian food. She was so high that she wanna eat everything...hahaha, we were talking on food most of the time!

Chyi mei was very nice, she just moved up to Welly probably a month ago, and she came to meet me at 7 when I arrived

I really felt sorry if she dint get enough of sleep!! And she brought us to so many places for sight-seeing via her recent-repaired car. Yeah, she just had a car accident few days ago, thank god she was not injured. But now we knew that Welly drivers were more dangerous...

We went to Petone morning market and we got this!!!

IMG_5348

This pan-fried roti is always my favourite, had been eating it everytime I visited Welly. This time I got a butter chicken one, yum~

IMG_5349

Kylie was so excited!!!

Then I finally visited the queen east gate mall! and they have so many cool design here~

IMG_5352

IMG_5351

and the lotto is promoting their paris trip....omg, my eiffel tower!!

It was a bit rainy in the morning, I was so afraid the bad weather will continue...Luckily it was just cloudy. We headed back to the city after 10, and done a bit of shopping around. I dint get anything as I ald got myself an ankle boot last week.

Plus, I am spending so much money recently, gosh really have to be careful ==

IMG_5354

this restaurant is creative!!

Lunch time, we went to Little Penang as what Kylie wanted. She was so craving for Malaysian food, however, it was a big dissapointment. The famous mee siam was just so so, I could cook the same dish. What really annoyed me was the worst customer service. The Penang owner was very rude! As we had lunch quite late, and we were rushed as we need to meet the others at train station soon. We just asked if the special dish of the day, hokkien cha mee will take times to be served and told him we were rushed, he said: 'if u rushed, dont come!", what a dick!! (excuse me for inpolite languague, sorry, but it was the thought I had)

U could politely explained and told us it takes time, but not "dont come!'. I know u have such a great business, but hopefully u really last long. Not mention that, he did not return my EFTPOS card politely, but rather kinda 'throw' back to me, and I had to pick up on the floor. DICK!!!

I swear I am not coming back again, and sorry I will not even recommend to others.

Thanks to chyimei, we able to meet the others on time. Then we took the bus to zoo!! Such a long time I dint meet xin, it was great that she is doing well, and now we shared one common interest....BIGBANG!! ahahaha

IMG_5357

We arrived zoo around 2pm, then animal time!!

IMG_5359IMG_5360

We first visit the sun-bear, I have no idea they are south east asian animal....why i never see them before??

IMG_5368

They are so cute~~

IMG_5372

she even pose for us!! haha, actually not, she was just being inpatient while waiting for her favourite food.....

IMG_5376

then she finally got it....coconut!!

haha, actually the zoo was under construction while we visit, so actually we missed a lot of animals, half of the zoo was closed. Therefore, we had time to visit all the animals as we actually only have like 3 hrs for visit.

IMG_5394IMG_5395

here come the leopard, they were so fierce and fast when the raw chicken was provided.

IMG_5404IMG_5402P8254022

chimpanzee....xin was so excited, i just knew that she love monkeys so much!!!

IMG_5421

IMG_5428IMG_5429IMG_5430

this monkey is so cute!!!

IMG_5440

and other animals....

IMG_5443IMG_5444IMG_5447IMG_5452  IMG_5484

IMG_5389

and this monkey is so tiny and cute, it jumped super fast, it so hard for me to capture this photo.

P8243990P8254029P8254035P8254067

we also got a lot of good photos...

IMG_5458

IMG_5490P8244010

P8254027P8254063

IMG_5475

even the playground!! hahaha I am pretending myself as spider 'woman'!!

P8254074 I am a kid =P

time passed so fast, we managed to catch the bus left at 10 to 5pm, and get back to Welly city. However, not managed to spend more time with yen, shirley and xin, they gone to lower hutt for their remain trip.

The remain of us....dinner time!

IMG_5496

We even bought take away char siu and roasted pork!!

IMG_5495

yeah....we couldnt even finish our dinner, so have lots of takeaway, I bought a piece of taro cake too!! haha, I am always asian....

That's the end of our trip, had a great chat with kylie on the return bus trip. I just found out Kylie is such a brave and tough girl. Compared with her, I am so lucky, I am also so grateful now for I have and really pleased and appreciated with what I am having now. Thanks...

Be grateful, love and peace!!

IMG_5344

==========分割线============================

IMG_5335

 ========分割线===============================

IMG_5082

========分割线===============================

===============分割线====================================

IMG_5204

Delice~

=====分割线================================

IMG_5253IMG_5255IMG_5259 这个就是我那位漂亮的表姐啦!

IMG_5264

LAMB SKARAS,

IMG_5265

IMG_5270

SEAFOOD KAKAVIA,

IMG_5261

IMG_4854

IMG_4860IMG_4866

tada!!!

===分割线============================

IMG_4897

==========分割线============================

IMG_4898287397_10151177551752931_573310636_o

pancake on the rocks!

=========分割线===============================

IMG_4912

La Renaissance

=====分割线=============================

 IMAG0311

===============分割线=========================================

==============分割线==========================================

=============分割线===============================

IMG_4733

=========分割线===================================

DSC_1137-0907

地址:Gumshara Ramen, Eating world, Dixon Street

==========分割线===========================

======分割线==========================

IMAG0315

IMG_4839

=========分割线==================

Yea, finally not a staying-home-weekend! I had been staying home for all weekends since the weekend I went to Auckland in May (did not count in the Wellington day trip during Queen’s birthday long weekend, cause I just went out on one day, still stayed at home for 2 days).

I went to a brewery tour today with Ping and her boy friend, and her flat mate. The last brewery tour I gone was in 2009? It was at Speight brewery in Dunedin, and actually I had been to that brewery for 3 times! So, I claimed myself understanding the beer processing a lot, moreover, I wrote a report on that!

This time, I visited Tui brewery! Tui is a NZ branded beer which produced from the Tui Brewery at Mangatainoka, nearly an hour from Palmerston North. To find out more:

http://www.tui.co.nz/Tui-Brewery/Tui-Brewery-Home/

IMG_4635521403_4133388662403_1722453101_n

Tui was famous with their hot advertising beautiful chicks working on to produce their famous beer, and they also used many humour and sarcastic slogan for their advertisement board. For example, this one:

Different from Ping, who looking forward for the beautiful chicks producing beer, I am more expecting some random and very interesting ideas in their brewery. Moreover, I could tell, there won’t be any chicks around.

Here comes our tour! I nearly thrown-up on the mountain road to the brewery, luckily it did not take too long to reach the destination.

We got this special passport to join the tour (aka NZD20 for this), and it includes vouchers for free beer and discount for Tui’s products. However silly me, I lost this passport, I couldn’t remember whether I left it somewhere, or I just accidentally lost it.

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3HYPERLINK "http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10757088"&HYPERLINK "http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10757088"objectid=10757088, which really can get themselves into trouble.

IMG_4633IMG_4634599152_4133493705029_1400110894_n

And I don’t understand, why do we need to put on this ‘traffic police’ vest??

As I expected, there weren’t any pretty chicks around, well, there’s photo….and I can be one of them, lol.

IMG_4643

At least our tour guide is a lady too, because another tour group has a male tour guide.

IMG_4646

Basically, I didn’t really listen to what our tour guide said, she has a strong accent and well, I actually not really understand what she was talking.

Anyways, here come photos….

IMG_4644IMG_4640IMG_4648IMG_4651IMG_4652IMG_4654IMG_4666

As I said, there weren’t pretty girls around, but there are many pretty girls’ photos. I guess these photos maybe motivating some male workers aye?

Yeah, I basically caught the idea of their beer processing, as I already have background for this. The tour just took us around 35mins, is a very short tour~ The Speight brewery tour I had been to at Dunedin was more detailed, took longer time and cheaper (if the price still NZD15).

Then, we headed back to their café for free beer on tap and grabbed our lunch.

IMG_4670IMG_4671

I tried this special released beer, but had no idea what type of beer it is. However, tastes good! =D I know that many girls actually dislike beers, but I do like beers! Well, I tasted my first entire bottle of beer at Dunedin, forced by my ex, since then, I started drinking beer occasionally. =P For wine, I only tried it properly (a glass) in 2009, but still prefers beer.

IMG_4673

Ping ordered a very sweet and fruity Henry Wagstaff, this was the first sweetest beer I had tried. It is like shandy, very easily to be consumed, and many females will like it.

IMG_4675IMG_4676

Then, here comes our lunch. I ordered this Brewers’ recommendation: Wagstaff’s Paua fritter. It comes with 3 pieces of paua fritter with 2 slices of white bread. (White bread? Are u kidding me?)

Paua is a Maori name for NZ abalone, and this was also my first time tasting it. However, I would like to taste the entire Paua rather than making it as fritter. I ordered this simply because it was recommended by the brewers. The taste was alright, not too fancy or great. Well, there were not many options.

Ping and I also shared a little dessert, because the meal wasn’t big enough. Caramel slices with vanilla ice-cream, it was ok.

IMG_4677600892_4133412462998_1665634600_n

An interesting board at the café:

IMG_4674

Besides, they also used the wasted (faulty) kegs for making it into usable product! A sink and bin! It also become the toilet bowl in the male toilet, but of cause I dint go there!

So, that’s the end of our tour, and I also ‘stole’ the glass from Tui. LOL

Is long weekend this week, it is Queen’s Birthday on Monday, (aka: Public Holiday!!)

However, I am not going anywhere this time, as is June now, which mean, it’s the transition phase now. Well, for u who not understand what I mean, FYI, my current contract is expired soon in July and I am still struggling to get a new contract. In order to play safe, as my pre-planning personality, I decided to save money and not going anywhere. Moreover, I am really worried about my further step, and I do not have a good mood to travel atm.

Therefore, I just went to Welly for a day trip with Nicole. If I have received plans earlier, my long weekend would have been more fantastic. I received invitations from Carmen and Yen at last minute, Carmen was inviting me to Rotoroa for spa (where I really want to go since long time ago!), and yen asked me to join her to Welly for overnight, and listen to a talk on the next day which I also very interested. But I ald promised Nicole to join her for the short trip.

Anyways, it was a fun trip today.

IMG_4597

 IMG_4590IMG_4591IMG_4592IMG_4595

My big breakfasts! I love they include spinach, and the whole mushroom in it. But, in terms of potatoes, I preferred hash brown. =P.

The café has a good dining atmosphere, I love the interior design so much.

And we also met this super adorable kid, is just a random child from the next table of us. Unlike other kids who afraid of strangers, he could be considered super-friendly and always smile! He approached us, and gave us rose petals! =D

560105_10150857329658947_1822503198_n

U can tell he loves the camera!

Then, we continued our trip to Wellington and arrived in 2 hrs later.

Our first stop is at the Asian bakery, then followed by the Korean shop. I bought a big bucket of kimchi, u can tell how desperate I was. Shortly, Nicole’s junior come to join us and we basically just walked around and chit-chat a bit.

Actually the main purpose for this trip is to EAT! Lol. So, is dinner time, we do skip the entire lunch as the breakfast really stayed.

IMG_4598

This is my dinner: Malaysian nasi lemak, is at a restaurant called Little Penang. Well, is the best nasi lemak so far I tried in NZ, but not very great. I just very picky when it comes to hometown food~, especially u paying triple the price, PLUS NZ CURRENCY! Nicole ordered Penang Asam laksa, and she said it was better than the one she tasted at Penang. Well, I guest is depends on the preference. As I tried their Penang Cha Kuey Tew last time, it was awful, but seems like Nicole quite enjoying it.

We dint eat much this time (but actually still a lot), because we still have next eating plan! Yakitori house (actually also can be considered a Izakaya!!!!

Yes finally! I have been waiting this for so long!! I am now calling myself a die-hard Japan fan. I found this Yakitori restaurant at Wellington called Kazu last month on the food blog, and was so craving for their taiyaki dessert and willing to pay a visit just for a meal here!

I nearly got disappointed at first, cause we dint book a table, and it was so full when we first arrived. Then we decided to come back again later, thanks Nicole, u really knew what I want.

We hanged out at the Deluxe theatre while waiting until 8pm. Apparently there was a movie premier, and so many people dressed up and two guys (I can tell they were drunk) approached us and talked to us. Yes, this is very common in NZ, and in Welly. Drunken people just become friendly and talkative. Well, but not everyone, some could be very aggressive and exposed their racisms. Yea, I really think that they (not all) have this dislike-feeling towards us (Asian) although they pretending welcoming us.

Ok, back to Kazu Yakitori bar around 8pm, and we were very lucky, we got seats by the bar! We ordered so much food, and honestly, the food was very costly. I paid around NZD50 for food and sake…..TT

IMG_4600

Back to the food I paid tonight:

The first food I ordered was this Takowasabi, which is actually raw squid seasoning in wasabi. Well, I actually just able to pick up raw meat after I come NZ, but this was the first time I tried raw squid. If u asked me if it was good or not, I will answer: depends…. Well, I don’t like it very much, but still able to eat it. It was quite fishy, or squidy? LOL. Anyways, I was grateful that at least the raw squid did not move….FYI, there’s a dish in Korea named san ojingeo, the feature of this dish is, the fresh raw squid tentacles continue moves when it served, and they still moving in your mouth when u consume them! I am never going to try that! So I guess this takowasabi was my first as well as last one I ordered by myself.

IMG_4607

Then here comes my yakitori sticks: Omakase which is the most popular combo. It contains chicken thighs with yakitori sauce, beef scotch fillet with original blend pepper, tuna with wasabi sauce, prawn with seared garlic soy mayo and egg plant. I love the tuna stick the most, never tried tuna skewer before, it was so yummy!

IMG_4614

Nicole’s spicy soft shell crabs. It was alright, not very brilliant.

IMG_4616

Then I was struggling to get a tamagoyaki dish but eventually decided to order a chicken karaage. I had been craving for chicken karaage for quite some time because there were no nice chicken karaage (so far as I knew) in Palmy.

However, this chicken karaage actually was not very ‘satisfying’, is just normal. I missed the chicken karaage I tried in Dunedin Japanese restaurant which was cooked by Korean. WTH? It is just because I never tried the ordinary chicken karaage? I don’t think so. I think is just the texture problem, more likely is due to the chicken itself.

Anyways, lastly, this was the main "dish" for us: Taiyaki with green-tea ice-cream!

IMG_4618

OMG, the taiyaki is so good!! It was crunchy and hot, and the anko (red bean) paste is just perfect, not too sweet~ Damn yummy!!

I am so happy, and up in the sky! And here are some photos of the bar atmosphere:

553472_10150857330198947_620237957_nIMG_4602IMG_4606IMAG0231

Anyways, I expected. U can tell I am those kinds of people who don’t care about the price when it’s come to food. Some personal values inherited from my dad, I am willing to pay for food other than anything else! This perception of the food value became even higher as soon as I started working and earning money by myself. An important part of my life is enjoying the food I like because I am a foodie ^^However, I must strongly emphasized that I am not people who simply wasting money, I do save money, and save a lot. I appreciated what I gained and also treasured the efforts my parents brought me to this stage.

IMG_4601

We also ordered sake, this is a MUST. I actually was also interested with the plum wine, beer, and Japanese cocktail, but I will try it next time if I can come again. Well, is weird to come here by myself, and is even harder to get people to join me because the food is not cheap.

So, this magnificent yakitori bar experience ended my wellington day trip, we headed back Palmy around 10pm. Thanks to Nicole, being a food company, as well as drive bravely in the night!

Today is the day! So looking forward, and also is about the plan to come up Auckland for.

I met Sze Ying today finally, after 1 years and 4 months! She came to Auckland with her parents for her graduation trip. All of us (8 of us) had dim sum at the Harbour restaurant. Well, the lunch was very rushing, as is Mother’s day today as well, we only allowed to have the table for an hour, this is Auckland~

Well, food was good actually, price is reasonable as well, probably because we dint order much. I dint able to take photos, as most of us spending time chit-chatting and eating. However, glad to meet everyone, including Jamie and Tina who had settled down at Auckland.

533370_10150904922792633_249688205_n

just able to catch a photo with sze and her mum.

I just spent time on walking around Auckland city with ZhuoShi after the lunch. It was so nice to have her for company, we walked around high st, which is the street that I apparently not noticing when I was at Auckland for 3 months last year. High street is more like a fashionable street, many special designer’s unique shops, and selling expensive goods.

We were very lucky to find this bakery shop: La Couranne Bakery boutique

IMG_4550IMG_4552IMG_4553IMG_4554IMG_4557

Zhuoshi ordered this dessert which is very good and huge! Is like a mochi wrapping cream and a huge strawberry inside.

They sell awesome cakes, bread and pastries =D

IMG_4551IMG_4556

Finally, I got to try the Asian version Mont Blanc! I am so lucky that I got the last piece on the shelf. Why I said is Asian ver., because this is a French dessert, but the French version does not use chestnut in it (according to Nicole).

I actually just recently know this dessert, thanks to Kanami. Apparently Mont Blanc is very popular in Japan, well at least I saw many bloggers who live in Japan described it.

Once again, Auckland’s the best <3

Finally fly up to Auckland! Well I used to hop on the bus, but for sure not this time, or the next time in the future, unless I really broke….

IMG_4523

my boarding pass, and my brand new nail color....

Taking a flight is definitely much better than bus-ing up. Save time, and save the effort fighting for sleepless period and also the cold…Well, spent more but is still worth.

I woke up at 4.15am today, can u imagine. I dunno why super-shuttle (the shuttle that sends me to airport) demanded to be outside my house at 5.30am, and I am slow, so I woke up 1 hr in advance.

Anyways, I made it, and arrived airport around 5.40am. My flight was 6.50am, and the driver was like, “oh u are early, why are u going so early? Do u know the airport check-in desk is not open til 6?” ….== hell do I know? U are the one who told me to be there at 5.30am…oh probably not u, I mean yr company…

Luckily the airport itself was opened, just not the check-in counter. I got my boarding pass from the self-check-in machine, but still have to wait the counter to be opened at 6am, as in Palmy airport, we have to pay extra 5 dollars for the airport development fees while taking plane departed from Palmy (but not charging on plane arriving Palmy).

Meanwhile waiting for boarding, I whatsapp with Bean using free wireless at the airport. First time accessing the wireless in this small city, it was actually quite fast. =D.

IMG_4525

----------------------------divider--------------------------------------------------------------------

I arrived Auckland around 8am, and zhuo shi come to fetch me. She nearly lost while finding the route to airport, really appreciated that she picked me up from the airport all the way from Northshore (took her probably 40 minutes) and she is not familiar with the road.  And she also brought me some breakies…so lovely of her.

I had long time dint see her, nearly one year I guess! Glad to see her doing fine, and actually zhuo shi is the only of us that got into dietician. Thumbs up!

Actually this time, this trip to Auckland is for the gathering with Sze Ying on tomorrow morning. She was having her graduation trip with her parents since last week. She asked me to meet her at Auckland instead of heading down to the south (Dunedin) to attend her grad ceremony which is a good option. So basically I just left myself open to any plans, and today zhuoshi had discussed with wann zhen, and we went to her house straight away after I arrived.

There’s a new family member in Wann Zhen house now, a puppy! Is a Japanese spitz, it is superb cute!

 IMG_4526

I played with him for a while, and he seems like me tho =P.

--------------------------------Divider--------------------------------------------------

Wann Zhen brought me to brunch at a Chinese restaurant near her house. We ordered so many dishes, and they were delicious! I think as we have long time dint hang out together, this made the meal even better!

 IMG_4527IMG_4528IMG_4529

Then, I also bought some asian snacks and bakeries as there are heaps of these kind of shop beside that restaurant. Oh my, I am really excited while seeing these food that couldn’t be found at Palmy, even Welly….^^ Auckland really the best!

After that, before meeting up another friend, Louise, we went to the Chinese Pagoda nearby. Well, actually I am not considered a Buddhist, as I dint pray, but I do claim myself a Buddhist on my identity card in Malaysia. Moreover, I do pray if I need to. However, I found out that I rather admitted myself as a free thinker or neutral since I went abroad. This is because I actually is a free-thinker…. I have no clues about Buddhist, well, I have an idea, like a general one, but I do like Buddhists, and the Chinese Pagoda we went to actually made me felt peaceful. =)

IMG_4530IMG_4531IMG_4532IMG_4534IMG_4535IMG_4533

IMG_4539IMG_4546IMG_4547IMG_4548  the budha are so cute....XD

Eventually we met Louise at Botany Down, and she was with her BF! What a shock! Wann Zhen was so surprised and told us she never tells! Lol, so Louise is not having many friends, she just has a boy friend. No more effort on helping her to bind up with people at work, she is good enough to get herself one. =) I guess Auckland still have more chances for love aye? Especially for people like me seeking for Asian guys….yes I am looking for someone. =) (LOL sounds so desperate..)

We spent sometimes at Robert Harris café then, and I realized the frappucino there was not pleasant.

IMG_4549

the frappe is phewww...not nice, zhuoshi isenjoying her coffee....

--------------------------------Divider-----------------------------------------------------------

We headed back to Northshore, Zhuoshi’s home stay around 4pm. Norman and Daisy (Zhuoshi’s home dad and mum) were very welcoming me to stay for a night, and cooked me a nice thai chicken stir fry meal.

Had such a long time dint dine in this family atmosphere, since I was in Malaysia this year in February. Norman is a kind and humour person, really hope his health condition will recover. I haven’t eaten so large portion size of dinner since I started my diet, oh man, now I need work harder.

------------------------Divider------------------------------------------------------

I can’t wait until 7pm, is movie time! Finally I able to watch Tim Burton’s latest film, Dark Shadow, starring my favourite Jonny Depp.

Check out my next post for the movie review.

It was a great night, but my Saturday night did not end with a movie, well, not club either. Guess what, it was ended with sleepy eyes, after proof-reading and modifying Zhuoshi’s Master literature review until 3am in the morning following the movie. This recalled me the memory in 2009 when I was taking HUNT314 (nutrition and communication), and zhuoshi was my team member as well. Both of us working on the remains report from 11pm until 6am early morning, then rushed to our whole team meeting at 8am. That was a crazy project, (well not that crazy as FOSC311, which is food product development), because everyone was so deeply bound themselves to the project. The other 3 team members of mine weren’t joining us for rushing the report over-night due to some “reasons”.

Well, it had already passed, and our team was generally good, as all of us were equally kind and co-operative. At least, we scored very well done grade for that particular project.

I just missing those days in Uni, but seriously not willing to going back for study, assignments and exams anymore. I eventually also realized that I really cant sleep late anymore, my eyes were half closed when the clock pointed to 12…

Anyways, I am still impressed by what’s zhuoshi wrote, and can feel how stressed she is to trying writing this literature review.

Good night world.

Yeah, finally able to go to the Wellington Sunday market again, I really missed the “teppanyaki” cheese roti (this is how I called it) from the Indian stall since last time I ate it during last year October.

IMG_4509

I guess freshness is the most important food ingredients, not meaning the freshness of the food, or I should say the feeling having the new food for the first time. I still felt that the same cheese roti I had last time in October was better. =P It  this the monotony effect?? Haha, but I still like it tho, and Paya immediately bought it after tasting mine. See!

IMG_4513IMG_4514

Then, we went to the City Market nearby, and Macaroons again~ Well, surprised to see that Nikki actually made the mini macaroons as tasting samples, and I couldn’t deny that the mini ones tasted better. I do admit that her macaroons actually losing her standard, well guess it was really not easy to make them constantly good as I also made them before just not by myself only. I bought 4 macaroons and so did Paya, but still happy that Nikki made a new flavour – coffee cream.

I realized another symptom of mine signing I am ‘aging’, (=S), I am disliking sweet dessert now! Not that I am not taking dessert anymore, definitely I will still taking them cause I always a big fan of dessert. Just I am more emphasized on the natural sweetness, and original flavours. For an example: I will demand for a green tea flavoured dessert come with the strong green tea aroma and taste, even with a bit of bitterness, rather adding too much artificial sweetness in it which ruining the original green tea flavour, get me??

I am complicated right?? Well, that’s me. =P

Other food sold at the city market:

IMG_4510IMG_4512

IMG_4511IMG_4520IMG_4521IMG_4522

I also bought seafood paella! It comes with a tiny cute takeaway box (NZ 7 each), but it’s actually a lot! I am going to bring it for lunch tomorrowI actually had a tight schedule today as I am leaving at 3pm back to Palmy, so we went to Scopa to get the hot chocolate highly recommended by Paya.

 IMG_4515

It is a chocolate shot to me, so viscous! To be honest, I am not a fan of hot chocolate, or I should say, I just dislike hot beverage. But, chocolate fans definitely will like it.

 IMG_4518

We also ordered a pizza, is huge! Lucky I got to share it with Paya, love this pizza. This pizza named Gorgonzola Funghi, contains spinach, mushroom and gorgonzola which is a veined Italian blue cheese. Although I really hate the original blue cheese, but I agreed that Blue cheese always taste good after cooking/baking.

I had so much of this type of floury foods these 2 days in Welly, roti canai yesterday, cheese roti this morning and also a pizza for lunch…Wow….my diet….TT (and my poor knee still pain…=(…)

Okies, time flies, I said bye bye to Paya around 3pm, we actually sat at the harbour for a while before we walked to the bus stop. It was a sunny day, how lucky I am.. =)

Til the next time we met, take care Paya!!

Wooah, it had been a long time since my last visit to Wellington, really happy!

The happiest thing was I able to stay overnight at Paya’s place, and got more time to spend with her and in Welly.

I took naked bus this morning around 11am, and shocked that yen also coming with me in the same bus, she was going for her event. Then, without my expectation, I got a chit-chat company on the bus (was planning to sleep before). The seats on the bus were not comfortable, it was not adjustable, my back was not feeling well. Moreover, I chose the wrong seat, according to yen, we were sitting right on top of the tyres, which felt the vibration of the movement of the bus a lot. Hmmm....><

Anyways, we had great conversation, and I am considering attending those events recommended by yen. I reached welly around 1pm, and had starbucks!

 IMAG0155IMAG0156

Coffee jelly frappucino! I remembered having this in Malaysia, and now the jelly is back! Glad that I dint feel dizzy having coffee this afternoon.

Then Yen left us for her event which Paya will also going later at night. So actually I will stay at Paya’s place alone at night, but she promised to bring me to an interesting lounge bar tonight, cant wait! I kinda have a lunch + dinner meal around 4pm after dropping my belongings over paya’s place. We dined at a Malaysian vegetarian restaurant, and I ordered roti canai again. I know, recently I am so addicted to roti.....evil carbs....

IMAG0157

The meal was so full! Gosh, then Paya’s left me her keys and went to her event. I just hanging around the town, and went to the Korean mart nearby to get me some kimchi. However, eventually I only got a pack of pork dumplings as the kimchi was too expensive. Then, I guess I am pretty lucky, there’s a new asian store opened along the way back Paya’s place. The food there were quite cheap as well, and finally got my kimchi! =D

From around 5.30pm to 10pm, this was how I killed the time:

-online

-watching movie: 夏日乐悠悠 (which was not a good one==)

-chatting with Paya’s flatmate. She was abit weird to me, well at least I was not the only one thinks that. Paya said she was having depression due to the stress of her school work as well as pressure from the flat.

I felt myself lucky as my flat mates were not as worst as paya’s flat mates, yet. I sincerely hope all of us can stay peacefully and don’t get into this kind of situation. Really felt sorry for Paya, she must be pissed off and stressed everyday due to her immature and irresponsible flat mate.

Besides, also a big hug to Paya, bringing me to this cool place: the library lounge!

IMG_4507IMG_4505IMG_4490IMG_4492

IMG_4491

U must be very tired, but still bringing me to this awesome and relaxing place. We have awesome dessert tasting plate. Well, I think the desserts were alright, not like a “wow”, but this tasting plate is very worthy. NZ 30 for a tasting plate contains 5 types of small and fancy desserts (different varieties every time) which were shared for 2 people, so NZ15 each person, great place, great deal. <3

IMG_4496

Our dessert plate! Contains mousse cake, passion fruit sorbet, donuts stuffed with corn, brownies sticks, and a small bowl of dessert like a jam (which I was confused as well).

I also ordered cocktail! This is called Gambatte (meaning all the best in Japanese), contained Japanese Kubota sake, and plum wine! They put a huge doris plum in it!

 IMG_4497

At first I thought the big long stick was a spoon or straw, it is a chopstick! Creative man!

I like this so much, the taste is not too strong, can taste the sweetness of plum wine and freshness of sake, and the doris plum was so soft and juicy~

IMG_4500

We hanged out at the “library” until 12.30am, and finally I shared my ugly ex-relationship stories with Paya. Well, I guess the environment and alcohol did trigger my emotion a bit that I decided to talk about this guy that I wouldn’t like to mention again. But I guess I have recovered as I was alright to talk about him, and really happy that he is out of my life now and no longer can step into my life ever again. Thanks Paya for knowing this ugly past that made me become a stronger women. =D

The next long weekend will be on June, which means at least another 2 months! Yuckks~

Really felt unfair why Malaysians got so many weird Public holidays, but I guess I should think out of the box. Our working environment is not the same….hmmm...

However, after hanging out with Alpha Lab employees these few days, I learnt that not the entire NZ workers shared the same good labour rights, at least not in Alpha. While after the no reply from Alpha regarding my last face-to-face interview in 2010, I still feel lucky I dint get the job =)

So, I had a not too bad sleep last night on wann zhen’s bed. Her guest room was occupied by shiuan’s friends. That’s why I felt even bad to stay over her house again this time. I already asked Zhuo Shi if I able to stay over her place in May (Sze ying coming up Auckland with her family for graduation trip) and luckily I am able to. Well, at least I felt better with this, and I can catch up with Zhuo Shi too.

I had dim sum for brunch this morning with Wann Zhen and Carmen, we had a good chit-chat. I really feel happy to meet Carmen, she’s really nice. The dim sum was alright, I still feel that Golden Harvest in Dunedin served the best dim sum, at least the best I had so far. Probably there are more good dim sum in Auckland.

 IMAG0126

The冰雪榴莲(durian cream pastry dessert) was massive, but it was disgusting. They filled in some irrelevant fruits inside. Palmy has better 冰雪榴莲=S

Anyways, I am still very happy that I able to have dim-sum with friends in Auckland.

I dint do much thing at noon, while accompany shiuan to check-out a car which she planned to buy. Then, wann zhen brought me to the bakery store – Rio bakery, and we hang out a bit at Momo tea before she fetched me to the airport.

IMAG0129

The bakeries I bought from Rio this time~

So, till the next time we catch up in May, take care beauty zhen! =D (and see u real soon, Auckland)

view from outside our motel....

The sky is blue, and the weather seems treating us very well once I opened my eye this morning. Had a good sleep, after the discomfort bed in my room at Palmy, I am able to sleep on any bed. Lol. But, the motel bed is really very comfortable.

IMG_4379IMG_4380IMG_4381

just some other general photos about our motel I captured this morning, wann zhen was texting in the living room, while Carmen and Aunty May was preparing breakfast in the small but very functional kitchen. =P

IMG_4388

We had wonderful healthy breakfast. Good to know Carmen, I totally granted her as a dietitian, she knows a lot! U will be my diet advisor~ haha

Although there were rain drops along the road, we still got sunshine at cape reinga. Not to mention we got good spot for our car parking.  DSC_0114

I was amazed by the power of natural!

There were many people around, but we totally just enjoyed ourselves and got excited photos!

Is time to move on, we went to the huge giant sand dunes nearby.

DSC_0305

people were slowly climbing up to the huge sand dune~ likes a row of ants....=P

DSC_0239

we hired 2 sand boards which costed us 30 bucks, the sand guy really knows how to make money @@

I was reluctant to play on the sand, as I am a chicken. I scared of falling, and got messy, and I also afraid of the height, and speed. I was volunteering to be the camera gal, but ends up, I did go for some sand boarding~ (very low standard one, haha, those not that steep, and in half way). I refused to do the sand boarding in proper way, I just be a fair lady, sitting on the board. Lol. I had good balance anyways, dint fall….=P

DSC_0371

It was super fun!

Carmen, Adeline and Wann Zhen also enjoyed very much. Poor sis Mary couldn’t join us but she seems having a good time watching us, these young kids, playing around.

DSC_0479

We spent good time at the dune, and left around 3, but we still have the next destination!

------------------------------divider----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 90 mile beach! But first, we had to have lunch, and our car need some petrol as well.

Luckily we found a fish and chips store on the way to the beach. Another infortune for us was we were not able to drive along the 90km beach due to the limitation of the car, but we still able to get to 90mile beach with a longer way.

IMAG0125

IMG_4435

The meal was alright, was good we had this on easter Sunday.

Then, we actually couldn’t find petrol station around, the closest station was closed unfortunately. Looking the left quarter of petrol tank on board, we decided to take risk to the beach. Based on GPS, Adeline assumed we still have chance to get to the petrol station before we have to push our car and ask for help at middle of nowhere. Anyways, we passed the rocky gavel path and dark jungle, we arrived 90mile beach!

Too bad we couldn’t stay for longer time, as we still need to head back Auckland tonight. Bye bye northland, really wonderful been here!

IMG_4463

Note: a big hug and thumb to carmen and Adeline, and wann zhen, all of u have done a good job on driving us back to Auckland. The thai restaurant dinner at Whangarei was awesome!

It was a long ride after the sleepless night, actually I was smart to pick a front seat, cause last time experienced sitting right beside the door, omg, was freezing cold when the bus stopped for refreshments.

I learnt to be smart and alert this time, I picked the only seat at the front, which is actually in the middle row (kind of) in the bus. I still chosen the lower deck of the bus as I know how “swing” I could be on the upper deck. Well, the condition just improved slightly. I guess probably was because the whole season is turning cold, I still could feel the cold air on my skin, regardless I have worn a thermal wear underneath. And if this happened again (I will try not to be), I will bring along my blanket I guess. (A burden!)

Anyways, it passed. Although wann zhen picked me up a bit late this morning, it was still all good, Mr. Sun treated us very well, we have rains along the way, but got bright and warm sunshine after we arrived Russell~

First, a big clap and compliment to the 3 beautiful drivers – Carmen, Adeline and Wann Zhen.  U guys done a great job! It was a long drive. We picked up our rental car around 9 and have breakfast at Mcd. Then, we drove all the way up to the North.

The plan today was to stop at Russell for a short sight seeing, and then continue driving to Kaitaia for one night accomodation.

The plan was perfect, we were very relaxing, no rush, I really enjoyed the way we travelled. There was a long time we spending on the road, but we had good time, and I slept most of the time, lol. Well, I have good excuse, dint have a good sleep on previous bussing night.

The surprise was I met the first toll in NZ, and I think it was the only toll. The difference was they dint have toll station set up, and no people around collecting toll fees. (In the end of trip, we only realized we have to pay online, otherwise the camera caught us will ask for more…=S, luckily we did find out we have to pay)

We encountered a short traffic jam, probably due to the travelling trend over easter. But the jam was not long, we arrived Russell around 2.30pm. Be specific, is Opua, we have to catch the ferry to travel to Russell on the opposite.

 DSC_0008

The ferry actually was the same as Interislander, but just not that fancy, is more like a moveable car park, and we stayed in our car (yes, the ferry carry us together with our vehicle) most of the time.

DSC_0025

DSC_0010 we snacking while waiting on the ferry to travel to Russel

DSC_0016

DSC_0013 taking this from outside the vehicle, adeline and may, yea, i can come out and stay on the ferry if i wished to.

DSC_0073DSC_0052DSC_0074

Russell was big enough, and must be gone with at least a bike. It was actually the first permanent European settlement and sea port in NZ.

DSC_0039IMG_4366

We walked along the beach, and stopped for a late lunch as all of us were starving.

IMG_4367DSC_0063

The food were alright, I preferred the mussel I had with Michaella last time more, but the pancake was good. Pasta was soso, I could make a better one. ^^

The weather was cloudy when we started our meal, but then rain poured~

DSC_0084

Then, we just walked around the jetty, and saw this amazing scene. I used to watch this recently in Arashi show, as Leader Ohno was a big fishing fan. The snapper was huge! (the fish which the guy was cutting) Can I have some sashimi please??

After that, we went to the oldest church in NZ, Christ church (notice that is Christ church, not Christchurch XD).

DSC_0094IMG_4377

A lovely couple just finished their wedding there, in the little church. Although I am not a Christian, I really enjoyed going different churches to see the unique and religious building design.

Due to time constrainst, we continued our journey to Kaitaia, and we arrived around 6. We were worried if we able to get food in the small town, but turned out we were overthought. There are a number of choices around, so we checked in to our motel first.

Thanks to Carmen, the motel we moved in is luxurious and comfortable, with a reasonable price. Again, I felt we were so fortune this trip, we got good weather, and we have the last available motel unit.

Well, guess everything come with a balance. We went to a crabby Chinese restaurant, long wait for dinner, and unpleasant taste of meals, with a very pricy cost. We were like criticized the restaurant will be closed if it opened in Auckland, lol. Oh, but we shud be grateful that we were able to have dinner at least.

Then, we went to Pak n Save for breakfast tomorrow. Carmen also suggesting buying some beers for the night. A good recommendation, Carmen. We indeed had a good time, we played poker cards along with chips and beer!

And I can feel that I am getting closer with Adeline and Carmen, as well as Mary sis, although I just met them today! They were outgoing, and very friendly. I felt so lucky to be able to meet them, and have this awesome trip with them, credit to Wann Zhen, our common friend. ^^

Tomorrow will be awesome at cape reinga, sand dunes and 90mile beach!

Yeah, finally is time for holiday trip! I was thinking I am going to have a relaxing holidays in Auckland this time like what I did in new year holidays, but end up…I am going to NORTHLAND!

COOL!

I received msg from wann zhen few days ago, inviting me to Northland with her and her colleagues, omg, for sure I said YES!

I am departing to Auckland tonight, by bus again, but soon I will terminate the overnight bus service myself, haha. (ald bought flight tickets to auckland on my next trip in May)

So today, mainly just enjoy the possibly relaxing day, I stayed at home the whole day, and packed my stuffs to Auckland/Northland. Sincerely pray the weather will be awesome, so I brought my shorts and hat as well~

I was just browsing the webpages, and also watching my favourite Arashi shows throughout the day~

Then, is time to go! After my good dinner, here I am North!

IMG_4295IMG_4342

Today is a wonderful sunny day after the long cloudy and cold week, and is weekend!

Initially i thought i only will go to the vege market this morning and stay home for the rest of the day, what a waste?!

So thank god Nicole was texting me, and I decided to go to himatangi beach with her.

Never been to that beach yet, and it was so long since the last time i was at the beach. It was actually not that long, was during xmas at Picton and Nelson.

But hold on, do they even consider beach? As they have no white sands, they are rocky and full of decoration statues around. LOL

So this time, i finally get myself into the sea, well, not swimming, I cant swim anyways. The last time i did this was at Otago peninsula in 2010? Most likely....hmmm....

IMG_4260

Anyways, I am so happy today, especially with my hat!

First we began our fun with Asian style – draw something, i cant imagine how popular was this apps recently regardless I have a hTC.

The names, as usual, luckily we dint write something like friends forever, that will be so ASSIANN~

IMG_4285

 IMG_4270

IMG_4281

Then, I moved on to the sea, and Nicole just followed me instantly.

IMG_4307

IMG_4316

IMG_4336

Really enjoy the time while soaking my leg in the sea, enjoy the moment the waves beat on my skin, my toes could feel the softness of the sand.....nice....breeze~

I was impressed with Nicole’s photography skill, i was proud of my photography skill once, but sometimes I felt  so stressed to stay with these ppl, i mean with them who have good capturing skill + high photo demands......I would rather enjoy the moment rather adjusting the perfect angle and quality to take good photos.

I am not photographer anyways, and not interested....^^

But, who dislike themselves in good photos? U can upload them to fb or any of yr social network profile....., hmmm, so that’s the point? Possibly it is, so still thumbs up for Nicole for wonderful pictures!

IMG_4337

and last, I saw this cute creature, it actually hide itself in the sand, but is easily to put it out, then it will bury itself inside the sand again! XD

So, is Sunday, but still have plans today, looking forward to meet up Jessie later

IMG_4236Wann zhen made yum and healthy breakfast for me, steam corn and kumara~

Really feel bad to wann zhen, knew that she will go to city, but still felt like using her somehow, although I didn’t....

And then Jessie changed venue in last min, to somewhere closer to nan’s house, luckily wann zhen didn’t mind, but i still felt very sorry for her when I off from her car, she just like my driver =(, sorry darling...really owe u heaps!

Was a long time since last time I met Jess, she had a longer hair now, but still the one I familiar with. We spent sometimes at the Palmers cafe with her friends, and then moved to a Korean BBQ at Dominion St. Before I started my meal, my sharp vision immediately spotted the French bakeries shop beside the Korean bbq!

I quickly sneaked into the shop with Jess, and bought a box of macaroons!!! Yum~IMG_4239

and jessie treated qing so well, she bought a bag of bakeries for him, and I can now call myself: transporter! ^^

The BBQ was awesome by the way, sorry I was busy eating, so no photos. We used 2 BBQ pots, and thanks to Halim, finally learnt the way for proper korean BBQ, no wonder I still missing the BBQ experience at Dai Cheong Kam in Malaysia with Nicky. I found the missing pickles that always should accompanied with the meat~

I am no longer sick with Korean bbq now, regardless of the bad experience at Takapuna with Huey yee last year (nearly choked in that smoky environment, and I was having bad diarrhea)

We BBQ so many types of meat, from bacon, to marinated pork, prawns, marinated chicken, onion rings, beef, kimchi! (that's very smart, so nice!), squids, mussels and fish! (both the first time!) The kimchi BBQ was just smart, Halim, our life will be bored without u! and the fish, omg, it was not fishy ever, tasted so fresh and chewy!

I shud have taken photos!!! ><!!

And not to mention, the cooked dishes were amazing. Ok, some explanation here, Korean BBQ (at least in Auckland) always come in buffet style, u can take as many raw ingredients as u want, and there are also cooked dishes such as those Korean entrees, fried rice, fish cakes, wontons, or sometimes they served yummy pork rib stew (I tried once at Pakuranga!)

We have full tummy after the lunch, and only paid NZD17! I was so satisfied! Totally can skip dinner tonight (and yes I did, just have my French bakery)

Then we moved on to a cafe named 'Circus Circus'. They did have a circus style outdoor~IMAG0085IMAG0082I ordered berry frappe~

We chatted for like an hour, and then, time to say goodbye. So glad that I get to know Halim and another guy (shit, forgot his name), and what's a coincidence, Halim's landlord is a friend of my cousin, Sze Sze. I figured out through his dog, called tofu~ haha

Guest NZ still tiny enough to meet people right?

I got a free ride to airport (thanks jess and dephany), but means I wasted NZD16 for the shuttle! I could have saved 49 dollars if I dint book the accommodation and transport, well, who knows. I guest sometimes I shouldn’t be that well organized aye?

Note: The flight was delayed for half an hour, thanks nicole for waiting me. Felt so loved with my life nw, I have good friends by my side! <3, appreciate and grateful!

Good morning Auckland, good to see u again, the big little city.

Last night was like a bi-impression for me, it was good as I did get some sleep, it was bad bcz it was so cold whenever the bus left the door opened widely when the driver was taking rest in a couple of stops....Poor me was sitting right beside the door, coldddddddd......

Is still summer tho, just is winter in the night. I am sorry....TT

Anyways, I am happy that I am in Auckland today!

Arrived at 7 ish in the morning, and finally back to the city centre. I dint have chance to back city centre during my last visit, so this time is like a long hello~

Never thought x base only allowed ppl to check in after 1pm, but glad that they allowed me to leave my luggage there.

I was wondering around before meeting up Michaella at half pass 10, with my empty stomach. I thought Auckland might have a busy morning, forgot the fact that Auckland is still in NZ. Sigh....

Finally, I went into Wendy’s for the first time, and tried their breakfast. IMG_4198Thumbs up for the varieties, but sorry for the tasteless hot chocolate. I would like to thumb down for the poor service as well, but I think Aucklanders act that way do they? That’s the difference, the missing of friendliness in "big" city.

Another great approach for me was I able to connect to wireless via my phone, just what’s app bean and kokchin. Surprise!

Too bad it was only 30mins, that’s another difference from NZ compared to other developed or even developing countries, their wireless coverage indeed lack of effectiveness......

I was counting down the time, and started seeing people walking around, shops opened on time, and traffic became busy. It’s 10.30pm, and I met Michaella near IMAX.

We went to Mission bay for a gourmet brunch!IMG_4201And have a good seat!IMG_4199IMG_4202michaella's egg benedictIMG_4203I ordered the waffle and cranberry juice.

We were so full after the breakfast, but we would nt like to miss the famous mussel here, after 20mins,IMG_4204Tada, we have a 1kg pot of steam mussels (come wit fries). Really loving the steamed mussels now, thanks Michaella!

Then we walked around mission bay, and saw this 2 naked kids playing around, cute!

IMG_4212

We tried to walk around the bay, but we got bored quite instantly, lol, then we took the bus back to viaduct harbour and just wondering around the 2012 volvo ocean race events.IMG_4219IMG_4223IMG_4224

Again, it was not a fun event, we were bored~ kakaka.

Then I back to main st to buy some Asian bakeries, is a MUST mission this time after disappointment last yr, got Nicole and Ping heaps of bakeries....and eventually realized myself were not into those bakeries, WTH? But I eventually bought some for myself too, is just like why not? as I am here....

(note: ppl were looking me weirdly when I bought so many bakeries....==)

Then, I checked in (arg, i shouldn’t do that, wait, I will explain why) and go into my assigned room. The bunk bed was so high, I tried my best to climb up, but I struggled to come down...== Why they had to design/include such a high bunk beds? Ohhh, do they think they only will serve Caucasians? Hmmm....

Anyways, I left problems/worries behind, shop with Michaella first. Yeah she went back to her temporary house at city for a while to pick up some gifts for me. That’s very sweet of her. =D

We met up and went to High st, which is a very popular, claimed to be fashionable st in Auckland. Hmmm, probably I don’t understand fashion, I would describe it as a normal, fancy and costly st. Not sure about the food, as we were full and ran out of time.

Lastly, we went to this Korean groceries shop opposite Michaella’s house, was not my intention to buy Korean stuffs, and I am more like a Japanese fans now. Anyways, things happened. After a big farewell with Michaella, not sure when is the next time to meet again, I moved on to Parnell.

The street, the atmosphere still very clear and memorable to me, how I missed Parnell so much! <3

IMG_4226IMG_4227IMG_4228  Wann Zhen was abit late, but not too late as I am the one who always earlier. (don’t like being late, that’s me...)

Finally went into moto sushi again, but I bet there must be other great and authentic Japanese restaurants in Parnell.IMG_4229The shrimp bento I ordered, yum!IMG_4230and wann zhen's unagi bento

Should we try them out next time? =)

Then we went into the chocolate boutique which was just few shops away and tried their well known chocolate.

I still preferred cold drinks, another own nature of me...IMG_4234white chocolate frappe

IMG_4231IMG_4232IMG_4233IMG_4235The shops were full of Easter chocolates, kind of reminding me it is time to plan for trip! Hmm, too bad wann zhen was lazy to plan trips for fox glacier, it could be a nice trip. I am thinking ending up my holidays in Auckland again. Is not a bad choice, just still wondering if there are other options.

I was supposed back to my extremely tall bunk bed after the long day, but wann zhen’s suggestion really made me hesitated to stay at the base tonight.

So at the end, I checked out, as expected without getting back my refund, here I wasted my 32 buckss....TT

Back to nan’s house again, and really felt very sorry for such an interruption, hate myself in this situation..such a trouble maker!

I know they are kind, but just somehow I really don’t like bringing troublesome to others especially to my friends, i just wonder why i felt that bad?

Anyways, thanks to wann zhen’s family, I had a good sleep tonight, good nite, Auckland

Travelling sometimes is tiring, I wish to stay at home sometimes, but then I will feel boring if i stay at home during weekend, and think over and over again: why I waste my weekend at home?

Human is complicated, and complex animal, and they don’t know how to be satisfied, don’t they?

Therefore, Vivian, u must learn, appreciate what u had and be grateful~

Yeah, so I kept my mouth shut, and took on the overnight bus to Auckland tonight. Another long nite, why Auckland, cz Michaella is here!

She’s friend from HK who I met at Otago in past few years, we were not that close, and not even now, but somehow we kept in touch via fb/msn since I last met her at Auckland when she left HK for good.

Well, the reason I travel, mainly to meet her, and part of it, bcz is at Auckland and I love Auckland, I do really thinking to move there.

But i really hate overnight bus. Hate bussing, hate the fact that this is the only choice if I do wanna save some money, TT accept it and don’t complain! TT

Good nite Palmy......
