Oh no is September, here comes the month of celebration!

Yes, because KC's big day is at the begining of the month, and mine at the end of the month.

I love September =)

 September 1st!:

After the early celebration few days ago, we threw KC another celebration, with just 4 of us~ Bean, Cheen, Me and the birthday boy~

I guess we really have fun today, we chat so much and have a good time that we forgot to take a group photo!! ><!!

We went to SS15 today as there is famous with various cafes and we hunted down 2 cafes in 1 afternoon!

 20150905_125915

First cafe we visited is at Tryst, where we found a parking space very soon.

20150905_133745

Surprisingly, their big breakfast is very cheap! All of us ordered the same dish~

 IMG_20150906_200935

RM13 with such a huge portion size! - I chose pancakes instead of toast, together with the Tryst breakfast platter.

The breakfast platter is super generous - 2 medium sized sausage, 1 hash brown, grilled chicken strips, ham, scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms, tomato and lettuce.

Flavor is general (I personally think big breakfast is a very safe dish, not very hard to fail, but very difficult to be very good), but with the generous serving size, thumbs up!

20150905_131928

Only dissastifaction at Tryst, their smoothies are not available upon our visit, I was so tempted on trying their choco-banana smooties~

Then, perhaps it's weekend, the cozy dining space at ground floor is packed, and we had to move to second floor.

But we only found out second floor is actually smoking area, sitting at open aired area under this hot weather is so irritating.

Moreover, shisha is actually sold at Tryst, so people chose to enjoy this syrup tobacco at second floor.

Well, is really depends on how people view and feel about this, but to me, I enjoy my meal, but not at this humid and hot opening area.

Oh well, none of us could tolerate this "hot" feeling, we decided to move to OW:L for the chilled bingsu~

It took us almost 15 mins to find a parking place, finding a car park indeed is a headache at this students area.

Thank god we found one soon after decided to pay at the parking lot of Inti college's building where OW:L located.

20150905_163952

Having shaved ice at this weather is a relief, though I found that their bingsu is really over-rated.

20150905_153033

We were either over-estimated our dessert stomach or too greedy, we had 3 bingsu in one time!!

 20150905_154440

Mango cheese Bingsu - flavor overall is general, dont pick this if you looking for something special.

 20150905_153631

Lemon cheese Bingsu - at first we were confused if this is the mango cheese bingsu as they are both yellow and with cheese cake cubes~ Then, we tasted the bitter lemon zest and soon discovered it it the lemon flavor bingsu.

I found it is too sweet, it would be better with more lemon refreshing sourness in the shaved ice.

 20150905_153914

Fruit and yoghurt bingsu - this is my favourite among all three bingsu we ordered today.

I was hesitated to choose this, but this is life, usually the least option turned out to be great, just like this bingsu, I thought it is a very general flavored bingsu compared to others in the menu.

However, this fruit bingsu is super refreshing! The watermelon bring out all the refreshness and chilled us down from the heat~

The sunflower seeds in the bingsu created the crunchy texture upon each bite of the shaved ice, and the overall flavor reminds me of 西米露 (a sago based milky dessert).

Then, the other photos from other foodies shared on the media at OW:L such as the green tea bingsu with red bean mochi, or the korean bingsu, coconut bingsu etc actually are more impressive (from the photo itself).

I guess next time then =)

After all, happy birthday KC.

Thanks to you, we have a fun and good time <3 Be strong and bright!

My AM told me my company is good in terms of holding different events for the employees.

Well, to me, these company side activities are not new as I used to have so many small to big events in my ex-company.

However, since my AM mentioned that is not common for Malaysian companies (I doubted) to hold these events, let's just appreciate the time and have fun!

Actually this is the second time for my bowling session, and first ever bowling time in Malaysia =P

OK, I admit I am not that out-going and out-dated, I only get to bowl for the first time 2 yrs ago!

I thought I may not able to bowl as I had the impression of the bowling ball is heavy that I could not carry it...==

Then, soon after I explore it, I actually quite enjoy playing it although I failed a lot....but I was happy to find out actually this activity is quite fun!

So I am still happy that company is holding this event to celebrate the success in SQMS audit~

 20150904_161820

They even prepared various medals for the participants, just to ensure everyone got one~

The event actually started at 4pm, which is during working hour, so I was super busy this morning, in order to finish up everything before 3.30pm.

Nonetheless, I still manage to attend on time =)

20150904_174554

Yes, I did it!!.....379 score for the team!!! ....Nah.... Actually there were many of us unable to join today's event and the original arranged team had been regrouped.

However, the names were not able to be changed (which is weird), so we just basically form our own team using the exisiting arranged lane, but using other's people name.

 20150904_165741

In fact this is my score @@ 91 for the team score, and my personal score - 49 for the first round, and 43 for teh second round. ==

I did not strike this time, which was not as lucky as previous first bowling in NZ.

But I do think I have improved, somehow I am more confident to bowl this time. I guess I would become better after playing for more times.

20150904_175659

Fortunately, not all of us are good in bowling, which means there is no one to be blamed for lol XD

However, all of us really have a good time!

Look at this, I even won a medal! - The most brave team =.= what is this?!

20150904_192135

Alright, at least I have some comfort gift, =)

Have been tempting to watch this movie since June, was counting down for its release and finally I went for the movie tonight!

First of all, thanks to bean for being my company for this creative Pixar's production!

I am kinda become a Pixar's fan since the movie <Up>, <Wall E>, <the incredibles> and <toy stories> series.

I really impressed on how creative the story writer are, they changed the boring biological mindset to a fun and exiciting world.

Our memories are stored in shining balls! And stored in the core memories zone, long term memories zone etc!

The core memories area support the personality islands, and our character is the mixture of these personality islands!

We got a production for DREAMS! There are actors/actress and scripts! SO brilliant thinking!!

Imaginary island is so much fun!! I guess my imaginary boy fren come from there too!! LOL

I am having so much fun within these 2 hours, I love how the writers use 5 different emotional characters to create our mindset.

It is exactly how we think positive, how we turn emotional, how we get mad, how we felt disgusted, how we become afraid....

Afterall, the character of think positive and happy - Joy, is the lead of the brain HQ, which sounds reasonable as we really need a positive thinker to control our mind.

However, sometimes, we might become negative, this is because the sadness character stepped in and I believed she is the only character who is slightly unmanageable.

But, the movie ended up also emphasized the importance of sadness being present in the brain HQ, this is because sadness actually cure us, and sadness brought attention, then soon, love will step in.

Because of the sadness, our family and frens care about her, and show the love towards us, hence left a space for Joy to step in.

I love how the writers equally highlight the importance of each character, although Anger, Fear, Sadness or Disgust sounds like negative characters and somehow to show a postive message, the movie may wanna bring up more about Joy.

However, fortunately, the writer did not deliver the message by putting down the other characters, but through a very positive way, the movie tells how Joy actually influenced the others.

Then, Joy is also not always right, she actually learnt and grew up from Sadness, just like how all of us did.

The movie have a good story line by telling how Joy and Sadness accidentally sucked out from the HQ and left the rest of the 3 - Anger, Fear and Disgust to control the emotion of the owner of the brain - the little girl named Riley.

Everyone guess what would happen, that's probably also hinted the early puberty stage, and our little girl became so frustrated, so emotional and uncontrolled.

On the other hand, Joy and Sadness were trying so hard to get back to the HQ when discovered the "main personality island" actually collapsed one after another soon after their absence in the HQ.

Then, with the help of Riley's childhood imaginary fren - Bing Bong, they finally rescued themselves and got back to HQ to save Riley's out of controlled mindset.

The disappear of Bing Bong actually very heart breaking, it was so sad and so touched to see his sascrifies for Joy because he knew only Joy would save Riley.

"Please fly Riley to the moon".....oh my, here come my tears again.....

I also just found out the director - Pete Docter also directed the famous meaningful Pixar's movie - <UP>!

He is genius!!! I like how he relate the sadness to relationship, because sadness alerted people to help.

After all, I really think this movie is one of the best in 2015, and more importantly, the movie deliver a meaningful message - it is really depends how we think.

Life sometimes could be sucks, but it doesnt mean we have to be sad or mad about that, let Joy step in and lead!

Of cause, we are allowed to be angry and sad, because as soon as Sadness and Anger took place, people around us would be alerted, hence we would be comforted and get well soon.

I mean, Joy always come after sadness, time passed and we healed.

Though at some points, I expecting something more in-depth, but think about that, it is an animated movie meant for kids and families.

So credits go to all the hard work of the producers, thanks for your continuous effort to bring such an amazing film in 2015.

To me, this movie is definitely not just for kids, as growns up, I appreaciated the chances to watch such a creative brilliant production after the stressful work in life.

Is all depends how we think, and after sadness left, Joy would depart, so let's not being worried about life, we would all be fine.

Well, it's just take times~

P/s: I guess Anger might be the lead of my conscious mind HQ as my madness kept triggered easily and I was complaining all the time soon after moved back to Malaysia.

So it's time to let Joy to take control again!! Come JOY, Take the lead!! Let's implant an idea in the console - a positive thinking idea =)

Today is a very relaxing and peaceful day, besides celebrating the nation's 58th birthday (Well, Not i really care for =S), we celebrated Kok chin's advanced and Bee Peng's belated birthday =D

What's made today a great day because we have a good number of attendance for such a nice cozy day =)

IMG-20150831-WA0010

There are 10 of us which is considered incredible gathering with such many people.

IMG-20150831-WA0011

I hope kok chin and bpeng is happy with our's little giving. =)

20150831_123408

We have our birthday lunch at Coffee Origin, located at Botanic, where I was not aware of.

20150831_123308

20150831_123354

20150831_123416

The cafe is very comfy and cozy, good to know there is such a nice place in the neighbourhood <3

20150831_123256

They displayed so many different and unique items surrounding the whole cafe, it took me a while to explore all the corner as I arrived quite early with no one (except our gang) there.

20150831_123435

20150831_123423

20150831_123329

This list pasted on the sliding door indeed creative, and encouraging!

I have a "proper meal", which sounds very formal....well i dont feel it is proper because look at this!

20150831_124525

How could you name this "PROPER"?! This is way too much! There is a bowl of rice underneath the egg!

The rice is named meditarrean rice which is slightly sticky and cooked together with mixed vege and sauce.

It combines well with the runny egg yolk, but i did feel the egg was slightly overcooked.

I chose the pork chop for my protein, the marinade of the meat is not bad, just a bit dry for the pork, and I totally ignored the sauce given.

The bacon and ham are ok, I did feel there are too "porky", as all the protein are from the non-halal meat.

But it is good to have brunch with pork, no offense!

As for the side salad, I do think they poured too much balsamic vinegar, the vege is very little to balance the large meat portion.

However, in terms of cost (RM18), with the portion of meat provided and large serving size, it is a good deal.

Well, for drinks, they served a lots of coffee with different flavor, for non-coffee drinker like me, I chose this:

20150831_124228

Matcha smooties - which tasted like frappe~ I like their matcha, which is quite origin and not too sweet.

Of cause, we wouldnt miss out dessert, I guess I found out where is the cafe which serves good waffle at Botanic.

A few frens of mine did mention about the cafe that serves good waffle, and I believe they were pointing at Coffee origin.

IMG-20150831-WA0012

Their waffle indeed amazing, with honey glazed bacon combining the crunchy waffle, topped with cookies, banana and ice cream.

Believe me, the bacon matched so well with the dessert!

I dont feel too guilty as so many of us sharing this evil plate...lol.

IMG-20150831-WA0009

Then, this is the birthday waffle we gifted to the birthday boy and girl~

Assorted fruit mochi waffle - the name just triggered my curiousity and I couldnt help to find out where is the mochi.

They actually place the chewy mochi inside the waffle, create a combination of crunchy and chewy texture upon biting the waffle.

Yummy~ I dare to come here for the next time just to eat this whole thing!

who cares about diet!? (.....I do....==)

I guess I need take more effort on losing my weight, cutting off the fat seems so hard after back home.

Just because I am no longer cooking what I am eating, just because I am no longer burning my fat like how i did in nz....

just because vivian you are making too much excuses!

Oh yeah, life change, and so does I have to take extra effort to move on like what nicole adviced.

Otherwise, I would just drowning in the swirl of life, living like a zombie without any purpose.

So stay up and move forward vivian, with my creative bangs....

20150831_182153

LOL, i just couldnt stand my messy hair anymore, and cut myself a little fringe this morning.

I am not regreting, in fact, I do think I am slightly refreshed with this tiny change.

Is time to visit the salon. =P

Well, this post come quite late, Michelle had left my department almost 2 months..

As a trainee, she had done a good job! I like her initiative, detailed and advance thinking, she had help us a lot during that 4 mths of her internship with us.

To be honest, I think she will do a better job than our current new executive, which is almost similar age and generation.

However, since Michelle had chosen her path, I wish her all the best in her future.

We had farewell for Michelle at Nandos, I have the mango chicken wrap which the one at the right corner, I just ordered the wrap, so it seems pathetic =S

20150612_130558

But actually it is very filling, I quite like Nando's mango chicken wrap, the mango matched well with the peri-peri chicken, is just the price is real pricy.

Then, we had so much fun before Michelle gone home at 5pm. Just because all of us really like her~

IMG_2077

Karen brought over her polaroid, and gifted the photos for Michelle, all of us was writting our blessing on the photos.

IMG_2065IMG_2066IMG_2071IMG_2063

R&D family will miss you Michelle!

20150616_155359

I also received this from her, she handmade this herself!! That's very sweet, and all of us receive 1.

You are a sweet girl, and I believe you definitely will pursuit your dream in one day!
