woohoo, finally!! At least, I have launched my new product, first time in Malaysia!

After working for 2 years (yes, officially 2 years after June), I actually have launched more than 10 products, but none of them were introduced to Malaysia market.

That's something shameful, I would like my family and friends taste my invention~

so finally, McD's Malaysia picked the right product to launch as LTO after 2 years being silent in the market due to the boycott and demand of powerful and signature new launch menu.

Yea, the recent introduced limited time only menu - rio burger, the beef patty was my project.

I still remember i stayed office overnight during its second production because its difficulties during processing.

Now, all gone and I am relief!

Actually, I really afraid it would be very spicy because the beef patties itself is spicy and they still enhance the spiciness with the spicy coffee mayo sauce...

But thanks to the creaminess of the sauce, my burger is more palatable and succelent. 

Proud for sure, let's rio~

so another one is departing, still...not me =S.

Well, as mentioned few posts ago, our new joiner 2 mths ago, Soo Li had tendered due to family reason.

Today is her last day, which is kinda sad because she is a very funny person and I have a good time sharing the same office with her.

Yea, to the boys who turned 23 yesterday and the day before, congratz on growing up another year ==

I asked Kong to join the celebration as his birthday is just 1 day after Derrick's and glad to find out he just enrolled for honours with scholarship awarded!

Really a double celebration today~

Today also marked an important gathering for peeps from Macfood, because Karen, Pek Shan and CY who had left Macfood were joining us (Derrick, Kong, Ginseng, Jacklyn and me) for the dinner tonight.

I picked Naughty Nuri for the venue because I always wanna try out this as my cousin told me how good it was, and we have enough people to share the pricy cost tonight.

Naughty Nuri's 1995 Signature BBQ spare ribs is the signature meal must be tried out over here, but RM45 per slab is really a ripped off. 

To me, I think the sauce matched well with the ribs, but not really wow, because the portion is not really huge and shared by so many of us was really a dissastifaction.

If you had tried out the Hurricane's Express from Australia, you would think Naughty Nuri is making fool of the consumers.

Pek Shan topped up this stew: Balinese Spiced Sop Buntut: if directly translate means Bali style spiced ass soup =O

Ok, it was actually seared oxtail and braised in Bali spices for hours, the soup was actually quite yummy, but come on, please give us more garlic bread!

Last, we also ordered the special limited dish, the manager actually rang me for recommendation.

She said someone preordered this but cancelled in last minute and asked if I want to have it, since it was so special and signature, I said yes.

It is named "babi Guling", with half a piglet, priced at RM150!!! This piglet is so small, and I think I only got to eat 2 pieces? 

Ok, it was nice, but i am sorry, I dont really see the reason to pay pork for more than RM100.

I dont think it is a special rare species of pig, though it is piglet which made it more precious? However, it was just fried until every crispy, after all, nothing really special about it.

 

Food wasnt impress me afterall, maybe I was hard to please with, but the crews definitely deserved award for entertainment and service!

They kept entertaining each table especially those who come for birthday celebration, and there were so many people ceberating birthday tonight! 

The birthday song kept playing, and the crew kept dancing, and it was so loud, I felt I was in a club, oh, Thai club to be specific =)

Of cause the crew wouldnt miss us, who have 2 birthday boy at the table.

Alright, we had lots of fun tonight, chat so much because we dint see each other for such a long time. 

Glad that everyone is doing well at their new career now, though i really dislike someone who really thought she was doing so well and ignoring me =(

Is ok, not to mention about her in this post cause I dont want ruin such a happy post.

Happy birthday Kong and Derrick, grow well and stay happy =)

I was wondering if I would be the 4th person to leave after departure of Karen, CY and Pek Shan.

Surprisingly, I never thought it would be Soo Li, who joined our team 3 mths ago. 

Since she had not passed through her probation period, she actually could leave immediately, but she chose or I shall say forced to stay for another week for follow up (so called).

Today, we also have a new comer joining us, her name is Jia YEEN, i need to specify because she insist everyone to call her name properly.

Well, she had stepped my tail since her arrival, such an innocent childish, stupid, rude kid in her 90s. 

I am being serious just because she really commented too much, and saying thing she shall never say at her status. 

What a wonderful team, I hope I would get out from here soon.

 

So, the boss want to have a combined farewell and welcome lunch, and I would never say anything because boss paying the lunch.

Forgot about the lunch, is just normal Thai meal, but I want to emphasize dessert. I finally tried out the other desserts in this Thai restaurant, remember the exortic tomyum  and green curry flavored ice cream I mentioned in my last few post?

Here's the other desserts served in the shop, and I got to try out today free =D

The menu written: water chestnut (red ruby) in coconut cream, this was ordered by Faeezah, it did not catch my eye initially, but it was so tasty!

The yellow thin slice on top are mangga, the red ruby is water chestnut but coated with a layer of kinda jelly texture thing. The coconut cream is not too sweet, and matched with the chestnut and mangga very well. Overall is very refreshing.

The taco, actually not like what I had thought, it was too soft and mushy. Next time will just focus on the dessert on top.

Derrick likes to tell everyone about his birthday, he been saying his birth date since early last year! 

He afraid that everyone will forget his birthday, especially he joined the company on his exact birth date!

So, we threw him a surprise birthday cake around 4pm, I guess he was surprised because we been saying we are not going to celebrate for him.

Actually we still teasing him today, saying the cake is for Shima, our assistant whose birthday falls on early July.

We planned to celebrate for Shima, but it was raya and she was away. 

So we took the chance to tease Derrick, we are celebrating for Shima's, while yrs just tagged along as yrs also fall in July but we did not remember which date. LOL
