Is October! Had joined new company for 1 month plus and trying to like my job as much as I could (it doesnt sound good?)

Yea, i must confess I dislike what I am doing so far, my current job is pretty boring compared with the last one.

However, it was not that busy, not that stressed, boss was not that demanding, and I can have work life balance!

There's always pro and cons, nothing is perfect, guess I just need to try to get adapt with the culture and new environment.

Currently, my baking course had entered into the second module stage. 

Here's what I baked last weekend: Kaya puff and some assorted cookies. 

So far still enjoying my baking course though it was real tiring as I was not able to rest in the weekend. 

Met Eileen few days ago, apparently she was promoted to Assistant Manager!

Omg, now Macfood really promote people easily~

We had meal at Good Friends cafe, I ordered their big breakfast. This cafe got a good rate as well, but i think their food was just so so.

Then, I also met Huey Yee last night at Damen. 

Finally tried out bingsu at Dal.komn cafe, we ordered the lemon cheese cake bingsu. 

Then today baking class I got to bake some swan cream puff~

I ate these kind of swan cream puff long time ago and never thought of ways to bake them.

Even pipe my name!

Another 2 months it would be the end of 2016. Enjoy the rest and keep fighting!

There were also many celebrations for me this year, but not as many as last year.

Another celebration this year with the girls only group at Iggo, Setia Alam.

This year except Bean and HuiB couldnt make it, everyone turned up. 

Apparently the cafe was famous with their various kinds of risotto, I got the Shredded lamb shank risotto, it was not too bad.

Chat a lot tonight, suddenly a unexpected guest turned up, the one who always flying around the world. 

Hence, the birthday celebration meant for 1 become 3....because we celebrated mine, Kok Chin's, which falling on 1st Sep, and Yumi's whose birthday on 5th.

Siew Teng bought a cake from somewhere a famous bakery, it was a poppy seed flourless cake. 

Thank you. 

Oh ya, also received special edition of kit kat chocolate bar from Bee Peng all the way from Europe.

Wish we have a wonderful year ahead~

There are many people having their birthday recently, after mine, it was Nancy's on the 1st, then we come to another birthday today for Su.

Poi Yee and Siti had made a cake for her few days ago, actually the cake was meant for Nancy but she escaped as she was having holidays at her hometown.

Why i used the word - escape? Well, it was not a nice one, but for sure is a heartful one. 

I guess Su was happy with it.

Another celebration today, with beloved family and my besties~

Dad was asking what food I want for my birthday, since is on my said, I picked KOREAN~ hehe, because it had been a while since my last korean meal.

Bro suggested Sannaedeul at Setia Walk because it has promotion and we can have unlimited Korean BBQ and steamboat! Yum!

Look at this, ohhh so nice! 

I had so much refill this afternoon, cant stop eating the bbq pork, everything were so delicious!

The Korean BBQ was not my only feast today, I also had a good night with my besties - Scheen, Bean and Kok Chin.

We went to Setia Alam to hunt for good food, ended up gone into this modern cafe.

Though the cafe has a very attractive appearance and ambience, the food was meh.

Cheen ordered a bowl of fruit salad, it was good presentation but I guess it was just a normal fruit bowl.

The cafe owner indeed has a sweet mouth, she convinced me to try their famous melon shaved ice, but it was overpriced and not that wow.

I ordered the grilled chicken which was apparently the best at the cafe and always running out, but honestly it was just normal grilled chicken.

Eventually I only found out the cafe owner was the same owner of the Lucky Ten restaurant at Bandar Baru Klang.

This mean they are the same food but just refurbished and transformed modernly, with an increase of price.

What's the point? Sigh, everything seems upgraded when it gone to Setia Alam, come on, this place is just the boundary between Klang and Shah Alam.

Coming here dint make means you are one step better or higher, it was still the same meal anyway.....

Despite of the dissapointing meal, we gone to another well known ice cream cafe - Inside Scoop.

The famous ice cream shop finally open their franchise in Setia Alam.

We got ourselves the waffle + ice cream combo.

We picked 4 types of flavored ice cream - cempedak, uji tea, black sesame and caramel.

We got 1 charcoal waffle and 1 normal waffle. The cempedak ice cream is delicious, I directly picked it once try it out, because the fragance and taste is just like cempedak melted in your mouth!

Bean and Cheen was surprised with my choice, but then the cashier said Cempedak was the top seller. SEE! I definitely have great taste ok!? lol 

 Have a very good night, we chat a lot. This may be the last reunion for us because Cheen will be heading to the cruise for 3 months plus. Good luck for her!

Wow, cant believe it had been a year, come to the day again!

Somehow I am scared, because I am turning to 30 very very soon, today marked the last day I celebrated my 20s....oh nooooo

Sooner or later, i will be annoyed with all those MUST-HAVE questions and I am not ready for that seriously.

Well, what could i wish for if I still struggling with my future career and not even meeting the right person??

So today, I simply wish for a simple celebration. Moreover, i had gifted myself the best present ever - Japan trip!

Though is just a simple slice of cake from RT pastry, but thanks for your kindness , Pooi Yee.

It was a heartful gift and i really thank you for that. 

Many people wished me happy birthday this morning, as a new join in the company, it is quite a blessing.

Lunch was not what i really want, but better than nothing.

First time eating ayam goreng in McDonald's, also tried out their new mango sundae and taro pie.

Today will be the last day I worked until 3.30pm, finally back to the normal working hours next week.

But somehow I missed the afternoon when there were no heavy traffic and I could wandering around shopping mall.

I arranged my birthday dinner with Wai Ee and Derrick because it is Friday and dad would be having badminton activity with his friend.

I do not wish to having dinner by my own or just having take away, hence asking Derrick and Wai Ee for company.

However, I spare the 2 hrs plus (from 4 to 6 plus) at Pyramid and bought this recent heat - cheese tart.

Yea, cheese tart is getting famous nowadays regardless of its costly price. RM8.90 for this little palm sized tart, you better be good. 

Comment? No, never gonna eat it again. It wasnt that bad, but it wasnt that good either. 

Somehow I prefer Hokkaido cheese tart more than Tokyo secret, at least Hokkaido cheese tart is richer than TS, and the texture is firmer but flowy in the middle.

However, none of both could beat Pablo. This is just my own review, different people would have their own preference. 

I picked Derrick and Wai Ee up from Macfood, and head to Empire for our Vietnamese meal

It's been a while since my last vietnamese meal, we gone to O'viet which newly opened in Empire Subang this month.

I have what i always used to have when come to Vietnamese,  Bún Thịt Nướng , but this time only have grilled beef, it was not too bad.

3 of us also shared the Vietnamese sandwich - Bah mi, it was really yummy!

I also ordered a mint drink, while the others have pho.

After the meal, we also gone to Jibby & Co to have cakes. Their cakes were yummy to have once in a while, this year definitely had too much of them.

Almost 1 person per slice, I was over pampered!

Pistachio was not too bad, the cheese cake also quite nice, except for the weird cake Derrick ordered was really meh.....guys indeed have no sense for dessert lol.

They also gave me a birthday present!

Somehow Wai Ee heard about what Faeezah told me about her love to the little plant, and Wai Ee thought i like it too==

hmmm, i actually not a plant person and i am really afraid i would not able to take care of it.

Anyways, thanks peeps, i had a great night~
