It was not entirely a getaway, we gone to the south because of Wann Zhen's wedding tomorrow.

Apparently Huey Yee and I are her bridemaids, as well as Yantian, who flew all the way from Xiamen, China to Malaysia just to attend the big day.

Yantian stayed over Huey Yee's hse for a week during her travel in Malaysia, and both of them come to my hse to pick me up this morning.

I brought them to Klang's famous bah kut teh, and they loved it so much =D

After that, we started our journey to the south, our main stop today was at Malacca!

Yan Tian listed Malacca as a must-stop for her travel in Malaysia, she had visited Penang, KLCC, Ipoh within this week.

Just like what she said, she ate from the north to the south.

I brought them to the nyonya museum and also the red Christchurch at Malacca.

Jonker walk already in the festive atmosphere.

Too bad my iphone gone wrong and was unable to retrieve all my retain photos, i was so sorry to Yan tian because my phone also captured some of her photos. =( 

We got lots of good food over here, luckily Yan tian had lose her interest on laksa, otherwise we would also gone to the Jonker 88 for nyonya laksa.

Initially was thinking to bring Yantian to chong wah coffee shop, but there is always crowded, so we gone to hor kee.

Luckily their chicken rice ball and chicken was good today and Yan tian enjoyed it very much.

After that, we also had lulut at Capitol satay house, finally got to visit this place.

I always missed this small restaurant each time i visited Malacca, it was either closed or too crowded

This was also Huey Yee first time tasting lulut. To be honest, I dont really enjoy this food because I think it is too pricy (RM1.1 per skewer) and nothing really special about it.

The satay broth at the middle was just normal curry satay broth, and it was very thick and oily.

Then, the food on the skewer tends to drop off into the broth, and it was so hard to get them.

Luckily we already had some food, so we can just eat as snack, and these snack already costed us RM44 over !!!

Is alright as long as Yan tian enjoyed it, we also took away a coconut shake at Klebang on our way continued south to Wann Zhen's hse.

This is my favourite!! hehe

We reached wann zhen house almost at 7.30pm, and had buffet again! It was really a constant eating trip.=P

Actually Yen had left the department for more than a week, he tendered 2 weeks ago and suppose need a further 3 months notice before continuing his next journey.

However, his sudden departure really shocked us, he never got to say good bye, never able to tell us what had happened.

The only thing we knew was, Yen was asked to leave the company immediately due to concern of business risk (as told by my manager), but will compensate the 3 months salary for him.

He got the news 1 hr before his departure and was in shock no doubt, never able to clear up his stuffs or belonging, handover his project in rush, and I only heard a whisper of "thank you" before he gone.

I never thought it was a good bye, and yet it was really too sudden.

So we had a private farewell for him tonight, reason being private was because we want to keep it secret, especially from those managers and the gossip colleagues.

We really suspect our skype account or privacy on our pc was stalked, plus we were warned in advance not to share any info with Yen, i not sure if it including contacting him. 

Well, the concern maybe was because Yen had gone to the competitors (apparently it was just an ingredient company), but i really think there is no need to reveal where he going to.

This is every employee's right to keep his/her secret and privacy, you should not force us to tell everything. Of cause, we couldnt stop you for suspecting and requesting for immediate leave.

It was ok, i am getting used to the absence of Yen, tho I missed him sometimes especially during lunch time. 

The farewell tonight was set at Boat Noodle in the Gamuda Walk mall at Kota Kemuning. I was late because of this:

Yes, I finally had changed my phone after nearly 3 years as it was starting lagging and the memory was full which stopped me from downloading new app.

And yeah, I chose Iphone finally, and joined the apple family =D 

I used to oppose buying phone in a decent price, as I dont see the necessary on spending large amount of money for a device that used to communicate.

However, I couldnt help with the trend, and really see the necessary to get a good phone as nowadays I really could not help on not able to get internet and downloading new app. 

No matter how, I still opposing being addicted with the phone, I still think the best connection between people is talking face-to-face.

After getting my phone package at Digi in Pyramid, I drove all the way to the venue where I had my first boat noodle.

It had been popular since 2 years ago, with the small portion of size costed RM1.90 per bowl.

There are 2 type of soup: the spicy one (Pathumtani) and the ordinary broth (Ayutthaya), with choice of rice noodle or egg noodle and selection of chicken or beef.

Pathumtani is dark soy sauce broth with appetizingly sour-ish and delicate spicy flavor, I quite like it.

Whereas Ayutthaya has an intensive flavor based creamy dark broth with no less than ten herbs and spices. Most of us preferred Ayutthaya over Pathumtani. 

For me, both were just ok, I dont think I would come again. 

First of all, i think there is nothing special, but maybe a good idea for weight loss due to its small portion.

Second, the price aint cheap, and there were not much variety. It just surrounding fried stuff, chicken ball.....mostly unhealthy food.

Well, at least my colleagues and Yen enjoyed the food, and it was a good night.

To be honest, we dint get to talk too much because there were too many different languages around and it was kinda awkward too.

But, it was good to see Yen again and know he is doing good.

Wish him a better career future ahead =)

I think Bean definitely overloaded with birthday songs, wishes, pranks, cakes and happiness this year.

Tonight is another throw up of celebration for Bean, this is also my 3rd celebration for her. LOL

The celebration initially was set on past Monday but I got sick and HuiB also got diarrhea, while Yimei also could not make it, hence it was postponed to tonight.

Afterall, it was just a simple dinner at Sushi Tei, and Siew Teng bought a cheese cake for Bean.

Felt ashamed that I could not tell what cake Bean actually like, somehow I just remember she did not like green tea cake.

So tonight, I would remember she only like cheese cake and pure green tea cake, and she never like chocolate cake and artificial green tea cake lol.

MY bestie, i think i did not really take note what you really like, somehow i think there are more people take note on your preference than i did.

Sigh, and I always thought I am your best friend....so from now on, i want to be more tolerate and understand you more!

Happy birthday my bestie, thank you for growing healthy for another year, thank you for being my best friend for another year and we will be by each other side forever! 

Is all about the new start, I had not dyed my hair since 2015 and somehow always thinking to dye it again.

Actually I had set my goal to get my hair done before CNY 2017 and here I go!

It maybe did not look very obvious, but i had spent 3 hrs in the salon this afternoon! To be honest, I was really exhausted now.

There were so many women in the salon today and it is definitely under staffs!

I waited almost an hour until the hair stylist finally approached me tho i had made an appointment, luckily i was early, otherwise i might need to wait longer.

Dying hair definitely ruining and hurting my hair, hence I was persuaded with the CNY treatment promotion package, get 2 treatments done - hair scalp and hair dryness repair treatment.

THen, with purchasing 3 sets (2 treatments and dye-ing my hair), I earned 2 free Loreal treatment with no expiry date. 

So this is how they retain customer then, i was thinking to use up my last 20% off voucher and never visit the salon again. 

It is really hard to get a good hair stylist (as in not too pricy one) in Malaysia, this salon was recommended by Bean's colleague, but I really think their skills were just so so. 

I truly think the hair stylist had applied too much of the coloring on my scalp

Afterall, i just need to further take care my hair and i actually really like this color. I dint pick it, just happened that the hair stylist recommended this trendy color - Ash Brown, and i want to give it a try,

THe color didnt look obvious in the photo, but acually it was really bright and different with the color i used to dye (although this was just my 3rd time to dye my hair).

I like it <3 Kick the new start, 2017!

Loey also come to visit today, she is really getting cuter and cuter.

I think Bean must be very touched today, in fact, i was touched too, and somehow really glad she has such a good bunch of colleague did such a huge celebration for her.

Bean, that's right, 30 in fact is a new chapter! 

Bean's colleagues had another celebration for bean today at Mr. Dakgabi in Setia City Mall, her colleagues were really very hearty and love bean so much!

Food were not bad, korean bbq cant be wrong, especially with cheese!

I am really happy that could take part in this lunch, happily to share the joy and hapiness and love from Bean's colleagues.

Bean cried after watching the video, it was really a good combination of warm blessings.

I really impressed how her colleagues reached Bean's parents at Banting, cousin, and sister in overseas. 

Of cause I had put in some effort on getting videos from Scheen and Kok Chin, too bad another 2 persons unable to provide the videos on time. 

Otherwise, it would definitely be perfect!

But i think Bean was already very touched today and happy with all the gifts.
