I was once being asked by Yen: 'What's catch-up means?'
Unexpectedly, I was able to answer that question straight forward, but I actually only, perhaps heard this term after I started working....
I was told to catch-up with my boss, supervisors etc...and not even curious what 'catch-up' really means. So what's catch-up means?
It said on the online-dictionary, catch up means:
1. To move fast enough to attain the same progress as another; draw even: caught up to the leader on the last lap of the race.2. To become equal or on a par with another: finally caught up with his brother in height.3. To bring an activity to completion or to a state of currentness: catch up on correspondence.4. To bring (another) up to date; brief: Let me catch you up on all the gossip.5. To seize or lift suddenly: The wind caught up the umbrella and carried it off.6. a. To involve, often unwillingly: was caught up in the scandal.b. To captivate; enthrall: I was caught up in the mood of the evening.
Wow, seriously? That much of different meanings??
Ok, why i brought up this was because I had so many catch up last week, and finally finished one tonight!! It was actually quite tiring, but still fun on meeting up different people. So my meaning of 'catch up' is number 3, not entirely, but more like catching up for my fren's recent life or gossips etc...

I just wanna share some of my recent activities here, throughout last week, I had dinner with Shirley on Tuesday, had farewell dinner with Emily on Wednesday, had after work drinks with colleagues followed by a cheap indian meal at Summerhill with Halie, Ping and Orianne.
I must say the Indian food was not bad, and in terms of price, they were really cheap. Well, I do miss my spicy taste sensation a lot! LOL, I have stopped eating spicy food since my birthday, it was a long suffering 2-months!!
Oh too bad I dint capture other dinner's photos....actually all of them were good! I also had a great dinner + movie night on Saturday with Shirley in her house. Anges and Yen were there for dinner, but not movie.
And then, tonight, I just had dinner with Nicole for her birthday!! It was actually yesterday but I guess she might celebrate with someone special, so.....
We had dinner at Bella's cafe, this time was my 2nd attempt! Have to say, Bella's cafe still a very decent dining place, at least it is in Palmy.
I had white baits for entree, finally realized white baits are very delicious. It was because I had white baits at my Maori fren's hse before and it was not very pleasant. Well, mainly because they were cooked differently. Then this meal, ok, it just changed my mind towards white baits...
They were mainly being fried, but still not losing the white baits natural texture.
And my main was special fish of the day, forgot the fish name....haha
I was complaining about the small portion size, but eventually I felt satisfied after I finished the main and side salads. That's why both of us skipped desserts too.
So that was my 'catch-up' activities recently, hope all my followers have a good catch up with life too~
