I was wondering what was going on to me, after the “accidentally” meringue (blame Sergey, he made it),

and after the meant to be satiating lunch box which I prepared the night before,

IMAG0107

I ate a cup of fried fish fillets! (oh my, why they are selling these in the cafe?, and the new waitress or whoever was trying to overcharging me, I should get hint that it was meant to stop me to have those evil fishy stuffs, I thought they were nuggets, or else i wouldn’t have them...)...

Then, the worst, I had a snack box of KFC wicked wings and their  over-milky crushes (so disgusting!) on my way back home....I was not really feeling KFC actually, but I had no idea why the image of myself eating wicked wings kept on popping up in my brain~

Well, I blamed the depression, blamed the randomness I just didn’t feel like cooking....And I was indeed worried yesterday because my brother was getting denggi fever, I have no idea how is his condition today...He need to go to the GH often to take blood sample and analysis....I called my dad yesterday after the evil dinner, and found out he just have to stay healthy and hope he able to recover asap...

Then, I thought my ‘sudden hungry + craving for junk food’ was just a random on yesterday, but today, my god, I ate a massive oily bacon and egg croissant which I bought from my company’s cafe after having breakfast cereal at home. What’s wrong with me??

I was confused, and concerned. I am currently on diet, although not that productive, well, at least so far I have lose 2 kg, and I am looking forward for losing more weight. So, my motivated mode was so on this morning, I carried out a brief research on if the changes of season influences on appetite and dietary intake. Yes, I am blaming the season now. Haha, but I was actually very straight with my diet plan, but things changed lately, and fall’s arrived.

The result was, I was correct! The main findings are:

  • ·         The total food intake and carbohydrate intake is higher in fall season than winter season
  • ·         The ingestion of meal produce less satiety in fall/summer than spring/winter season

So, I dint blame fall, but that’s the truth!

And now, my strategies: (which also based on research trials)

  • ·         Eating slowly to increase satiety
  • ·         Eating high amount of food in morning day, be specific before 2pm, will lower the total daily intake whereas eating high amount of food after 6pm will increase the total daily intake (worst if after 10pm)

Hmm, glad that myself is a nutritionist, and also officially a researcher, I am able to use my strength and skills on my diet! (hopefully effective and efficient). It will be hard for me to stop eating after 6, I back home nearly 5.30, and I need to cook...==

But yes, a big breakfast and moderate lunch is what I need. I am always having huge dinner, which screwed up the plan. I also must stick to high satiety protein food at night to get myself satiated!

Yeah, motivated now, go diet, go!
