Finally meeting Eileen again after so long. the last time we seeing each other was last year around October.
She still as busy as usual, Macfood life indeed not much changes at all. LOL
But we shared so much today, unlike our last catch up, we hang out until 10pm and even got dessert!
I was hesistating to pick a cafe, because there were plenty at SS15 and I not sure which one serve good food.
Ended up we gone to Raku Pizza because I thought we just having a simple dinner.
Hmmm, i guess i can choose something better next time.
Raku Pizza was not bad, at least they serve a lot of varieties, and food portion was generous.
We had pizza today, which I wanted to try out because I had waffle at my last visit, and it was meh.
Went for the salted egg yolk chicken karaagae pizza, i thought the salted egg yolk trend had ended....so quite surprised when i saw the lto on the menu.
To be honest, it was just so so, chicken was not bad, but the taste overall was really mild and dry unless you chose to pour the buttery salted egg yolk sauce over the pizza.
We also ordered another char siu pizza, this was not too bad, but i think it could be better.
If i found out their pizza was that huge, i would just ordered one and called out another side dishes or so.
Still missing their signature dry chicken teriyaki ramen, wonder if i going to visit here again.
We had lot of conversation tonight, mainly surrounding stories and gossips in Macfood.
Happy to share my thought of life with Eileen, also thank her to share so many life stories especially her past in setting up business and her love story with her bf.
I could see she is more happier now especially when her freak boss had left the company.
She now cope up with more work load but could tell she is learning more but i did remind her about appreciating her personal life too.
After so long, i think everyone shall enrich and appreicate what we really care in life.
Our dessert come last, with salted egg yolk sauce and nestum oat on top of vanilla ice cream, and waffle at underneath.
Surprisingly, their waffle tonight was crispy at the outer surface and chewy (with mochi) upon biting, which really good.
I guess you guys improved or i was bad luck last time. lol
Maybe a 3rd visit next time?? hmmm...
