The wedding continued with the wedding dinner tonight, looks like my bridemaid job havent ended yet.

Bean and I had arrived the wedding dinner venue around 3pm, and started preparing the decors.

FYI, my bestie, who is the pretty bride tonight, studied interior design and had a very high demand for the wedding decor design.

Well, wedding once in a life time, I guess all ladies have their expectation and thought about the perfect wedding.

As the bride best maid(mate), I would try my best to do what cheen wants.

The decors on the reception or the snacks area was still easy to handle, but the photo booth was really a challenging one.

What even worst was because there were only 4 of us fixing the decor for photo booth while the others ran for make up soon they done with the desk decors which actually pissed me off.

I mean this was not your wedding and we need people to help to fix the complex curtain and hanger for the photo booth, and you gals are here for helping with the decor not attending the wedding just as a guest. 

But i guess that's how they are in character, and they are cheen's other besties so I wouldnt like to comment anything.

The photo booth decor was quite complicated, especially for the C and G word to hang on the curtain.

The design was drafted by the bride, and she was expecting something like this:

But this was what we made after worked hard for almost 2 hrs:

Perhaps none of us are very artistic, so cheen actually disapproved this, but thanks to Joy, she smartly adjusted the gold gauze and cheen finally said yes (but we guess she said yes because of the time limit)

Bean, Vion, Joy and I finished the photo booth decor around 6.30pm, (and the wedding start at 7pm), and quickly dressed up and made up. 

Luckily we managed to sit at our assigned seats on time, and the other bride maids also helped at the reception and other areas.

The photo booth was very popular, lots of people took photo, and Joy also brought a machine which was linked to the we chat and provide photo printing service for free!

Although the printing quality was not that good, but really grateful Joy specially brought in the printing session and bean and I almost become the printing service promoter lol

The CG couple are like a rock stars tonight, their presence really made the night overwhelmed. 

Tonight also is our secondary class - S3SL reunion, really can see how our age graded and we kinda take wedding dinner time as a reunion time.

Once again congratz my dearest "papa", you must stay good and happy! 

Ohh, finally is the big day, the big day for me to become one of the bridemaids.

This is my first time experience to become a bridemaid, I used to see how other sisters were having fun during the wedding ceremony, but never expect myself got to participate in the event.

We did have a very tight schedule today as written below:

And not to mention that all the games was discussed earlier during my absence when I gone to taiwan.

First of all, I would like to thank cheen who chosen me to become one of her 10 bridemaids, it was an honour for me to accompany this beautiful bride on her big day.

I woke up real early this morning just to ensure I had put on my make up nicely.

you wouldnt believe how much I had spent for this wedding, i bought a concealer, a nude bra, and nude underwear. 

Luckily I had basic make up set with me, though the last time I used them was ages ago.

Then, i also want to thank my colleague, Pek Shan who advised me on the make up, she was very patient and shared me lots of useful info.

This is how I looked today~

All of us looked like Greek Goddess because of the lovely hair wreath, I still hanging it behind my bedroom door.

But actually I dont think i looked very different with make up, even my colleague also mentioned the same thing. Perhaps I just havent found the make up style that suits me?

Oh well, it's alright because is not me who getting married, as long as the bride is looking good, I dont mind look ugly or fat (indeed I am fat! ><) 

Cheen also must be very tired today, she also woke up very early to fix her make up, wedding gaun and hair. 

Around 9.30am, the groom and his groomsmen had finally arrived after the long wait ==

We initially set up 4 stages of game before the groom approaching the bride, but I guess the groom purposely arrived late, and to avoid missing out the "good time" (feng shui talk) to leave bride's hse and arrive groom's hse, we actually skipped/simplified the games. 

But I must admitted that it was either the groom couldnt wait to marry the bride or too dumb, he gave us the whole stack of red pocket in one goal ==

The only fun when the groomsman suffered perhaps was the time they were asked to hold the yoga pose for 10 seconds...

But since the groom was so generous, all of us decided to let go the groomsman for more strict games~

Looked at how happy we were counting the "luck" we got~

Photo session started~

The couple left the hse around 10.30am, and could tell how cheen was happy but still burst with tears

We are all happy for your new chapter of life, hope you stay happy and pretty with your hubby. 

The whole ceremony spared my half day today, but I dint end my weekend with just a wedding, I went to Coffee Origin later for lunch/afternoon tea with bean and chin.

First attempt for their bacon mushroom roll, nt too bad, the mushroom was very juicy and matched well with the bacon.

Then I shared the evil filling waffle with Chin, though my diet plan had started but I really couldnt resist waffle/desserts ><! 

I specially like coffee origin's waffle because they have mochi in it, and the waffle was very crispy and big! 

Thankful that there is such a heartful cafe near my neighbourhood, hope their business can be maintained well and stay tasty with reasonable price. 

Then 

OMG, my first bestie is getting married, no...she already married...because this is a throwback post ==

But this was really my first time to attend my bestie's registration, then join her wedding ceremony and prepare for the wedding dinner etc.

Back to the wedding registration day, it was a very sunny day, I purposely took 1 day off to be part of her, Scheen's big day.

Scheen was really happy that day, and she also so pretty!! 

The registration process was actually quite fast, but we had a brunch of paparazi lol

Happily exchanging the wedding ring. 

Actually there were like 10 of us (frens of bride) attending the registration, but all the group photos are not with any of us =.=

After the registration, all of us gone to Uncle Loo's restaurant for free lunch, Scheen's dad was too generous and kind. 

For sure, his daughter, my dear fren, Scheen will happily ever after with her beloved one.

Yea, not more than a month, I visited Singapore again.

Actually, this was not a pleasant trip, because I was forced to become a postman, to deliver samples over because I failed the shipment of sample earlier.

Or, I should say the "usual practice" for sending samples had finally failed on my turn of sending sample, hence I got very "lucky" order to send sample over.

Well, I must admit I was not very happy about it but no choice as customers urgently need the sample for their sake of consumer test, and we had a "say yes" company culture.

Initially, my director did ask me to go Singapore and come back to MxxFXXK on the same day, yes she meant the company not Malaysia

So I was actually very depressed and mad about it, and my parents was pissed when they heard about this ridiculous trip.

Nevertheless, I called Karen and got told to not worry about coming back to work, I dont want to think whether did I heard wrongly about what my director said which intend need me to come back for work right after touch down.

Oh well, there you go for what I had been through on this long day.

I was very worried and scared this early morning, because I need to reach customer before 11am.

Luckily everything gone smoothly and Andrea, the customer that got in touch with me was nice and helpful (not her arrogant boss tho). 

I thought I will have some free time by my own and could skip work (Hehe) but was asked to do some market survey, and I have no idea how to do market survey especially I was not informed earlier. If yes, I would have done some research and prepare some itinerary or food to be hunt....and prepared more Sing Dollar!!

So I went to Burger King and had some unique breakfast that not really sold in Malaysia - Turkey Sausage Croissan'wich

It had turkey sausage patty, fluffy egg and cheese sandwiched in croissant bread (but not crispy at all ==)

The set also come with iced milo and hash browns, I like the hash browns which are in snack form but large quanitity, very crunchy and snacky. 

My stomach was so packed after finished the whole breakfast set, indeed a big breakfast!

Then during lunch time, I went to MOS burger, well this is one of the Japanese fast food chain that havent opened in Malaysia yet, so of cause I would not miss it. 

I ordered the Yakiniku burger, the specialty about MOS is using the rice to make the "bun", so kinda like rice ball, but in burger form. 

But different from other burger fast food chain, I need to get a number and waited for my burger to be served.

They used good quality of plastic to wrap the burger, I guess they used it to preserve the heat of the burger.

I just realized I did not take photo of the burger itself, but I still remember how it looked and tasted.

The beef shred was just a little, and was kinda salty, and the "rice bun" was quite dry, and in the end I finished my beef but still remain lots of rice ==

So is either I ordered the wrong burger, or MOS is not that good as I thought.

So that was my one day business trip in Singapore, not a pleasant one, but still was an enjoyable one because I was filled with food. 

End my trip with another KOI. 

So we had a Fresco Reunion (Sze, Huey Yee and me, without Shaun, again ==) after Pui Yee's wedding which was on the following day at Mid Valley.

Mid Valley actually has many good cafe and food options, the only thing that annoyed me is the Mid Valley distance and car park. 

It is too far and parking always packed hence I will need to travel via KTM (local train commuter) that annoyed me the most.

Oh well, but today I follow's Sze's dad car so I am totally fine. 

First stop - ALexis. Always want to drop by this cafe due to it popularity on social media, finally got a chance!

We ordered 2 slices of cake to share with, and along with our tea/coffee of choice.

The first slice of cake is this yummy looking Pavlova, though I am not really a Pavlova fan, but Alexis's pavlova is really evil and yummy!

The next we have is this nutty tiramisu cake, for this taste was not too bad, but I still prefer the traditional tiramisu with just simple chocolate powder on top.

Somehow, we were sastified with what we had in Mid Valley =D

Then, during lunch time, we headed to the finally come to Malaysia, Japanese popular ramen chain - Ippudo~

I had been long waiting for this popular ramen chain, heard they started open outlets in Singapore and was tempting to visit and hope they will come to Malaysia one day.

I guess they heard my wish and tada, they opened in Mid Valley too after their first outlet at Pavillion.

As Alexis had fullfill our hunger, we just ordered 2 ramen set for sharing.

Apparently there are not many options for ramen, we ordered Shiromaru Motoaji ramen and Karaka-men

However, both ramen was actually dissapointing, the broth was just purely salty, the charsiu was alright, but the noodles was soggy and soft.

I don't know what wrong with the chef, or just happened to be on that day we had ramen, the quality was really bad.

For the side dish, they were better than the ramen for sure, but not outstanding either. 

The seared salmon roll with mentaiko was surprisingly good as compared with the ramen, only thing that sastified us.

As for dessert, they just served us some waffle ice-cream which I guess is just a normal Japanese retail product. Not really impressive but not too fussy about it as it comes with the set lunch. 

But to be honest, I started to feel insecure with those famous oversea food chain coming into Malaysia, I think most of their quality drops for Malaysian chain.

I am not sure whether is due to the chef's skill or raw material quality....but yep, I better dont put up high expectation to any overseas famous food chain that opened in Malaysia.

Anyways, it was a good catch up with Sze and Huey Yee, unfortunately we dint take photo....AGAIN!
