Time flies, February in another day! 

I had a catch up with Cheryl today, we have decided to have a so called "monthly catch-up" since our last catch up in January simply because both us love cafe hopping and we shared lots of similar topics.

Today, she brought me to this cafe named Aether cafe at TTDI, and I discovered my colleague. Ching Yee actually been here and insta what she eaten~

Oh well, I guess this cafe is famous then =D 

But actually not so, because it is hidden inside an office block, along with a private gym club and a children creative centre. 

The environment actually is really cozy where you can spot leafy view from the cafe's window, but we were not early so the small cafe with limited seats were quite pack.

We still lucky to got a small table just beside the counter, easy to spot by the staffs, so our order were taken promptly.

A drink to start: a blooming flower tea, just not with a brightful pleasant color.

Another blogger posted this drink too, but hers was more pleasant looking than mine which is real dull. I think it was because we sat a rather dark corner with not much of perfect lighting.

Cheryl's peanut butter salad was yummy, but evil to be a salad =S

I am not a salad person, hence I go for the savory egg wrap.

Honestly, it did not meet my expectation. The egg is too watery (not even runny), and too mushy, though i quite like the toast with the baked bean.

However, there werent much options to be chosen. the menu is a simple one page paper, with only a few savoury choices. 

But, if you are looking somewhere healthy, less meat and oily meal, Aether can be a good place to go. Just, I am meat fan and I wouldnt go to cafe for healthy meal =P

Cheryl also ordered the rainbow shots, come with 6 different type of fruit juice which is naturally in different color, hence called rainbow~

Hmmm, seems no much different =S

The rainbow shots indeed photogenic, because of the multiple colors and also served in test tubes~ but please dont keep your hope high, because they are just simply orange juice, pineapple juice, dragon fruit juice, carrot juice, apple juice and watermelon juice.

However, appreciate they being healthy without any sugar added. =)

Cheryl is quite thirsty today, she ordered another pot of flower tea. 

Perhaps we also have a long conversation today =)

I personally prefer this flower tea than the blooming flower tea. This one is more refreshing and comfy to drink with.

I guess Aether's menu is too healthy for me, which did not really sastify my crave for cafe food. 

So, after a rather short duration of struggling, I decided to order their new waffle menu - earl grey waffle.

The Earl grey flavor is interesting, but it is not really intense. 

Though it is not really a wow, but it did sastified my crave, I am indeed a dessert fan =P

What's next? Looking forward for our next catch up. 

Is the leaving season again, though I used to see our interns come and leave, but I am pretty sad with this one.

I had mentioned about this cute trainee - Kong several times in my previous posts. 

He is a very naive, kind and innocent boy, lol, he is just few years older than my younger brother, and same age as my new colleague, Derrick!

Oh, both of them actually just born 1 day apart~

What I really like about Kong is his initiative, volunteering to help working attitude which really helpful for our department.

He is very understanding, and willing to help. 

All of our staffs like him so much, especially he has a very fun character~

How funny he is? He can just suddenly sing out loud those funny advertisement songs, or come out with very funny statement in random moment.

So that's explain why I am a little sad with it, just little, because I knew he will be doing good in his future and I bless him all the best for that.

Today is his last day in R&D, but we actually had thrown him a farewell lunch at Nando's yesterday.

I ordered the chicken pita this time, not really impressive. Well I am not a Nando's fan, to be honest, we really have no options but had to pick Nando's for the farewell meal simply to meet the Halal expectation ==. 

But Nando's is considered a not-bad choice if to compare with other halal restaurants. 

We also thrown Karen's a surprise birthday cake!

She is going to turn XX tomorrow! But we did great because she actually was surprised~

Then, back to today's afterwork event, nah, just simply said bye to Kong. 

We had a small session of leaving ceremony for him, give out a "internship graduation" gift and have more leaving photos.

Yo, is the gathering time again.

I think it has become a tradition that we gather once in a year, during CNY. LOL

Before we start the reunion at night, I had my outing gang reunion first =)

Hehe, after the outing 2 days ago, we decided to have a feast first following by movie before the night begin.

We had huge lunch buffet at Sukiya, I forgot how much meat I had eaten.....but really massive meal until I gave up for dinner tonight.

Anyways, I did enjoy my lunch with my outing gang, we chat so much today which was really very fun.

After the lunch, we watched the local movie which received high rating and popularity recently - Ola Bola.

I actually dint really interested in the movie in the begining simply because I never thought it will be nice to watch.

However, it was actually not so bad, the spirit of the sport in the old days, and the nation shared the joyment and pride of the country in the past really touching.

I wonder if we able to have such 1-nation nowadays. 

Oh well, just take it as an entertainment, why so serious?

Dinner tonight is held at a newly opened cafe at Bukit tinggi, it named Hazelnut cafe ==

Wonder if they serve signature dishes with hazelnut, but nope, and their food apparently are just so so. 

Well, since I am too full from lunch, I just have a drinks while chatting with others

There are like 25 - 30 of us, with some faces who really nt seen for a long while.

Apparently, today also is Sin Yee's son birthday, he is turning 2 years old today =D

Today must be memorable for him, so many people cheer and sang birthday song for him.

We stayed until almost 11pm tonight, which was considered quite early, I guess all of us are getting old =S Nah...maybe just lost of interest to hang out until late night.

Well, we are such a big group made up by different gang that are not really very closed to each other, although we were under the same roof of class.

I guess, it is already considered lucky to have 1 gathering each year. Hopefully we are able to maintain/improve the tradition.

At least, my outing gang need to be last long =)

Finally Chinese New Year had come! 

This is the great moment every year, I noticed I really looking forward for chinese new year every year since I grow older every year =S

Of cause the reason I looking foward is the red packets(although the amount of money is really depleting each yr ==), the excuses to get new dress and shoes, the moments spent with family, relatives and frens, the joy during the festive season, the good food, the most firm reason to take long leaves!

I had take 3 days leave this year, which make me a week long holidays - AWESOME!!

CNY eve this year falling on weekend which somehow is also good because most ppl will start travel back home in the weekend, and also able to spend time with family in the morning of the CNY eve.

For me, I had helped to clean up the house since early morning of CNY eve, dad also busy buying last minute grocerries for the big day, we ordered pizza for the lunch as many shops already closed for the festive season.

Feeling good when I saw my name on the pizza box =D

Domino's pizza is always good to fill up empty stomach =) 

I dint really snap the photo of the festive EVE dinner at night, most dishes are kinda similar as last year. 

Well, the point of the dinner is not on the food, is about gathering the whole family members in the night.

Yes, my brother, sister in law and the new comer of our family - little cutie Loey also come ^^

Just Loey was not able to have dinner with us, which is fair enough LOL.

I bought a few dresses this year, but dont really take photo of myself wearing it except for below:

I love this blue dress from Padini Concept Store, and the Stay Real bag I bought from Taiwan <3 Love it!

Not forget to mention the cute ribbon hair clip I wearing, also bought from Taiwan.

I was wearing this outfit when hanging out with my "Outing" gang - Bean, Kok Chin and Cheen on the 4th day of CNY.

We went to Kota Kemuning for cafe hopping, ended up most of the nice cafe still closed and randomly we ran into this cafe where still opened - Toasted Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

The cheese toast was surprisingly taste nice! But I wouldnt go for the 2nd attempt, simply because it wasnt amazing enough =S

Well, I am that kind of foodie who really picky =P 

P/s: I also ran into someone at this cafe, who are "big" enough, I actually pretended to miss out her, dont care if she saw me or not. I just ignoring the fact that she is really an important people in my work place.

Who cares?

We chatted so much during the day, too bad bean and cheen had stuffs to do at night, left me and KC having dinner at a quite fine Japanese cuisine at our neighbourhood.

I had this deluxe and nice chirashi rice we really lightened my day =) Only thing is the price is not cheap tho especially in Klang, but I think the sashimi is really fresh. 

Then, the fireworks during CNY also non stop brightened up the sky around my household area.

Fireworks used to be very hard to see during the old days, but now everyone can lid it!! 

However, the excitement watching the beautiful flower blossom in the sky is still there, and I am so lucky now because I can simply watch it from the window of my room.

Though the photo was real blur, but I can see them clearly, and is everywhere! I wonder how those people are so rich to "burn" so much!

Last, let's see what I had accumulated this year! 

Actually the amount of red packets increased this year, for sure make a good start for 2016~

Since I started working in Malaysia, the amount of me have these lou sang attempts is really increasing especially with a china man business that really believe in this feng shui concept.

Our technical team had another lou sang today, with more than 15 people sharing a very small plate of yu sheng.

The yu sheng bought from AEON is really cheap skate, well to save budget and also claiming the halal cop, it is usual =S

Let's get started~~

2016, hopefully is a better year for technical team. Work hard, QA and R&D~
