C'est LA viE

so soon, i am getting older again....same as last year, i am blessed with lots of wishes and celebration though the big day is yet to come (just one day counting down).

The first celebration was few days ago when it was also moon cake festival, Macfood gang (aka the crazy madness group) gathered for my birthday at a korean bbq cuisine.

We had korean meal at Shinmapo, this was my first time eating at this place, overall not bad, well how can BBQ be bad?!

We always not taking photos everytime we gathering...==

Pek Shan also gifted me this as my birthday present =D

My postcard which posted last year in Korea that set to receive during my birthday this year also received in good condition =)

Jennifer also sent me a birthday postcard, so touching hehe

Then yesterday I have a early celebration along with kok chin, the outing group finally reunion after almost a year!

We had dinner at this taiwanese steamboat place at the landmark, however i think this is overpriced.

Food really little after all cooked up~

As for bday babies, we also received a large bucket of ice cream, but the biscuit is really pathetic....==

The outing group reunion~

Cheen also brought us so many souviniers! I specially love the photo she snapped and she printed it out using the new polaroid printer.

So many post cards and japanese snacks, oh my god, thank you so much!

Lastly, i also received a nice postcard today from Shoei Yeou, is my favourite Jimmy =D

This is becoming a habit, nowadays I rather gather all the food photos and blog them in one post, i guess my lazy gene is functioning real well.

So obviously September is my month, and I can foresee there will be more food in the coming up.

Mum and dad went to bangkok for a short trip end of last month, and left only my brother and I who need to settle meal by our own which is rather unusual.

Well, i guess i become the responsible sister who bring my little brother for all the good food, lol

We had korean at Todam, Klang is lacking good korean food, for sure. 

After passing by this cafe few times finally able to try out - Food by fat cat....they serves good varieties of don though.

On the same day having food by fat cat, i attended a seminar with Chyi, discussing about the passion to pursuit dreams....wonder where is mine...

Then, had a better (slightly) korean food at Ampang after visited Singapore, went together with the buddies who went to Sg with me. 

Sigh, when the cook is no longer local, the food always turned bad.

Mooncake festival is approaching soon, and this year have slightly different moon cake =)

remember the durian bday cake at Moonlight cakehouse I had last year? Surprised that my technical chef colleague was able to make one too!

Then I also finally met up my online first female friend - Carlyn! Both of us are fan of fried chicken, and here we are!

BBQ chicken at Taman Desa actually just mehhhhhh, not really great, i think they might have ruin the brand from korea.

However, later we had high tea session at Breadfruits, quite happy that the passion fruit cake at Breadfruits are yummy too. Meaning Breadfruits not just serve good meal, they have nice cakes too.

Then, the famous brew house has finally come to Klang! Good that now we have more food options~

I also have this chance to visit my childhood all time favourite hananese chicken chop kopitiam, their chicken chop still taste great, although the portion size is getting smaller and also the price is spiking time to time.

Then so many postcards coming in, haha 1 is from myself all the way from Singapore, while the remain is from Jennifer, also posted to me while she was in Singapore with me. And bean kinda was forced by myself to send me one during her Shanghai trip lol.

She is detailed enough to paste a paper on back of the wooden postacard to ensure it will arrive safely to me, thanks friend!

Meal at <simple life> is getting usual in my family, not sure this is which attempt.

Finally I also get my puzzle book done! Indeed enjoying my life while my leg injured. 

Yes, i hurt my leg during yoga class, and hopefully it will become better soon.

一从新加坡集邮馆出来没多久，我们就决定直奔新加坡国家博物馆去了

其实这里是我提议来的，因为目前新加坡博物馆有一个team lab的展览，但是今天来了才发现我搞错了

虽然team lab 的确在这里设展，但ig 上火红的打卡照片并不是出自这里而是新加坡美术科研馆==

不过在新加坡国家博物馆的森林故事展也是很值得一看，虽然说对外国人来说收费真的不菲

不得不说新加坡国家博物馆真的无论外观或建筑物室内都很壮观，难怪我们会遇到情侣在这里拍婚纱照

喜欢它的天花板是透明的玻璃板，而且擦得好干净哦，可以看到明亮的蓝天白云

顺带一提，我们还在这里发现售卖神秘书籍的自动贩卖机咧！

整栋博物馆是非常大的，也有很多不同的展览，我们买的票其实可以参观完几乎所有展览但是我们时间不足所以只锁定森林故事

虽然说team lab没在 大马设展，但是也是相当感恩我们和新国非常近，可以过来这里欣赏

一进入眼帘的一片漆黑，渐渐的就有一片一片的花蕊映入眼帘，真的一开始就是震撼了

用影片也不能完全形容那个壮观，这是一种视觉的盛宴，感官的体验，必须置身其中才能深切感受那份感动

我们就跟着步道一路往下，穿过树林河流，看着那些发光奇妙的森林动物，听着仿声大自然的韵律

可以明显的看到我们是一直往下走，然后其实都是投影放射的厉害呈现这个视觉的惊喜

走到尽头就会来到另一个空间，这里也是一片黑暗，但这里置放着好几个bean bags，还有枕头，营造一个休闲放松的空间

这里完全就是可以躺下来像是躺在夜光下一样，与众不同的是头上顶着的不是星星，而是不断往下坠的花瓣，和盛开的花朵

而底下环绕这我们的是那片荧光森林和突然会冒出来的动物们，我们在这里呆了一段时间，因为实在太舒服了，这时候我就特别羡慕新加坡人有这样的放松空间，太幸福了啦！

不过相对来说，他们的休闲日来这种地方应该会人山人海吧？

我们离开时其实真的挺不舍得但是我们行程满档，割舍这份悠闲，我们继续趴趴走 ，不过得医肚子先=） 

在这里也非常难才能拍到清晰的照片毕竟四处一片漆黑，伸手不见五指，庆幸自己的旅伴很厉害，这个照片绝对可以打卡用

离开博物馆后我们就到Bugis junction吃午餐，我们也没有特地去找功课，就随便在商场里的美食中心解决了

我们吃了乐天的拉面，真心不好吃又贵，下次要好好搜寻到底新加坡哪里的食物比较好吃，毕竟这里的食物真的太贵了

吃过午餐后我们就出发到haji lane,我一直想来这里很久了，因为我是伪文青 ，对那种巷子，壁画类是无法招架的

不过我们这躺旅程天空真的不作美，我们去的路上都一直频频下雨，下了又停的那种，不过庆幸还是有到haji lane

这里真的不错哦，虽然看起来不长，但是很干净，然后很井井有条的感觉

不同的店家的设计都很有意思，很适合慢慢散布欣赏

不过我们也没有办法逛很久，因为又下雨了==

我这里已经独自跑到对面的店家，其他人则是慢了一步，于是我们就这样“隔路”对看==

这雨下的不小，不过这样的午后雷阵雨在这个地方真的很有意思，你人生里会有多少瞬间在悠闲周一下午在陌生的地方等待雨停呢?

这是瑞瑶表姐拍对面，也就是我躇驻的那排店家，不知你有没有发现在右边的我呢？

沿下走才是那个出名的壁画，但是雨真的太大了，我们就只能在有遮掩的地方勉强拍下照片

于是我们又辗转回去bugis,因为天气一直不断变化，我们取消了去gardens by the bay的行程，改往orchard road去吃蛋糕了

之前wai ee介绍我去吃纽约大名鼎鼎的lady M，在新加坡有分店，我在启程前就告诉了瑞瑶和她表姐我想吃了，既然来了就不能错过咯

这里的蛋糕真心不便宜，即使没换汇率都觉得贵的那种，果真是贵妇的下午茶啊！

我们也是很潇洒的直接点4份千层糕，还外加饮料，现在想回来其实可以不用饮料，因为本来就会提供白开水，但是就是那种旅游心态，享受吧~

我们点的是经典款的原味千层糕(signature mille crepe)，巧克力味道 (chocolate mille crepe)，栗子味道 (marron mille crepe) 和竹碳味道 (charcoal mille crepe)。。。。现在反而后悔没有点经典的格子巧克力味道 (checkers)。

饮料我个人点了类似玫瑰拉铁（但没有咖啡因），也是一般般

蛋糕方面，原味真的很出色，甜度刚刚好，绝对是招牌，巧克力味道的也是很好吃，不会太甜且巧克力非常浓郁

竹碳的其实还ok，吃多了会有点腻，栗子的味道不够浓，淡淡的，重口味的人可能建议尝试别的种类会比较好

整体而言是相当不错的体验，下次如果有机会再来会试看格子巧克力蛋糕的。

接着我们在附近逛了逛，基本上就是等时间过，因为没有时间去别的地方了，沿途也看到那个很夯的咸蛋鱼皮的店挤满了人潮

好吃是好吃啦，但是价钱不会觉得贵得离谱吗？

晚餐在takashima里的日式美食中心解决，我自从第一次来新加坡吃过这里后，每一次来都会想再来，可能是因为我不懂哪里还有好吃的日本餐

今晚我不是去上次吃的那家(nakajima suisan) 因为队伍实在太长了，我去了隔壁的yonehachi，这家是主打日式糯米饭，  Okowa（おこわ)

但是我觉得饭有点咸，然后烤鸡排也有点不熟，味道有点不新鲜，下次不会吃了，分量大是绝对的

吃过饭后我们就在附近走走然后再去巴士站准备回家咯，真的是超累的一天

在巴士上捕获的新加坡夜景，好漂亮啊！下次希望有机会来这里看看夜景~

耶，又一个长周末，而且这次一点都不无聊（假期也从来都不会无聊==），去新加坡玩了去~

主要是因为我同事瑞瑶传来的脸书帖子让我心动不已，于是我就提出来这个有点小疯狂的要求，因为适逢新加坡从9月到明年1月有小王子展览，我就大胆的提出不如来个一日到2日游~

毕竟有刚好遇上长周末，择日不如撞日，就去吧~哈哈哈也要谢谢瑞瑶愿意陪我这个疯子，没想到她初次出国就是和我前来啊哈哈哈

我也因此行认识了瑞瑶传说中的表姐，她一直告诉我我应该会和她表姐很合得来，因为我们喜欢的东西很像 

我个人也觉得我们挺合得来，也谢谢此行让我认识了她

其实这次新国游相当累，因为我们是乘搭夜间巴士前行，然后又是一整天满档的行程，所以不认老都不行，这种廉价省钱游已经不太适合我了

昨晚算是在瑞瑶表姐家有稍微休息，她家竟然可以眺望双峰塔和吉隆坡塔

好漂亮！不过她家真的好远哦~其实如果可以的话我也希望住在这样的地方，算是对大城市向往的感觉吧？就是那种我回到家还是可以看到这种美景的感觉好棒~

我并没有在这里逗留很久，不久就出发去巴士站，准备上巴士去新加坡了，这还是我第一次坐巴士去新加坡，之前2次都是坐飞机。

巴士蛮大的，有2层，但我们都很明智的选了下面因为上面通常都很摇晃~

位子挺大的，不错不错~

差不多凌晨4点多就到达移民局，对岸就是新加坡了，有点可以感受那些在新国打拼的马劳的感觉

移民局办事效率蛮高的，而且我们也没遇到传说中要巴士的事情，顺利的坐回同一辆巴士差不多5点多抵达新加坡

瑞瑶表姐的朋友在附近的云顶酒店订了一间房让我们梳洗休息，太客气了！我们也没有休息很久，差不多早上8点多又出发去觅食了

我们选择了在亚坤，据说是新加坡出名的土司店吃早餐，没想到清晨的购物商场虽然关闭但是商场里的早餐店还是其他餐厅都已经开业了，而且商场也可以自由穿梭，这真的不错

哦，忘了说我们来的这天可是周一，新加坡人都在忙碌的上班，我们则悠哉的闲逛

虽然才8点多，商场看似空空，亚坤这里却很多人，我想迟来一步我们可能都没有座位了

选择性不少，不过个人觉得价钱稍贵，这兑换率太吓人，而且只是土司，在大马也完全可以吃到一样的东西，也不见得新加坡的有比较好吃==

不过嘛，旅行就是如此，重要的是和谁一起吃对吧？

我点的是半熟鸡蛋，就味道就是典型的，没什么特别，面包方面就也是烤面包涂花生酱，也是一般

瑞瑶表姐有点比较特别，是芝士烤土司然后涂kaya酱，也没有很好吃。。。

不过大伙儿都很开心的享用就是了

吃过早餐后我们就出发到巴士站准备向小王子展的场地- 新加坡集邮馆前进

这个巴士站挺大的，而且很有系统的标示巴士的去向和线路

我们等了差不多10分钟多左右吧，就上车了

沿途经过牛车水，新加坡的唐人街，为何别人国家的唐人街那么整洁和美丽呢？

原来大马的樱花树也在新加坡盛放哦！

有些建筑真的很美哦~ 差不多半小时后我们才抵达新加坡集邮馆 

这里的建筑都很像，远远的就看到小王子大大的图像，那栋建筑绝对就是新加坡集邮馆了哈哈哈

瑞瑶表姐用go pro 拍的照片好好看哦，还好有这么一个喜欢拍照的人，才让我们那么尽情的拍照

目的地越来越近了，大家都好兴奋哦~

新加坡人真好，他们的博物馆通常都是免费开放给百姓，但是对外国人收费下手不轻啊，尤其那可恶的兑换率。。。

单单集邮馆外面都很好拍了~

我们已经盘算要买小王子的明信片然后到外面这个邮筒寄了~

接着入馆啦！

这里几乎每个角落都可以拍照咧。。。

要知道关于小王子的一切在这里都可以找寻

进入大厅看到这个超激动的！

这里也布置的太精致了吧！所有手工都很细致，超不舍得离开的。。。

你太牛逼了大叔！

基本上算是分成几个展区在介绍，这里虽然地方不大不过很完美的利用了每个角落和空间，真的很赞！

接着我们就进入下一个展区~

还有应该是真的作者手稿，我看到了大象=）

这里也是闪光灯不停~

其实如果每一个细节都仔细阅读参观的话，真的可以呆上一天的，不过我们也是有其他行程要继续

这里完全不会输给韩国的法国村啊！太好拍了~

基本上就只是2个展区，接着我们又回到大厅继续拍

我说go pro的广角镜头真的拍的很宽广啊，所有都尽收眼帘的~

既然来了新加坡集邮馆也不止只看小王子，楼上的其他展览也可以看看毕竟我们也给了入场费

从二楼可以看到整个小王子大厅，何其壮观啊！

楼上的展设主要都是过去通讯科技的变化和历史

这东东还真的第一次看到~

我的文青照到哪里都不会少的哈哈哈哈

另一边就是关于邮局相关的历史~

原来还有这种东西，具体也不懂是什么，不过我朋友猜测是打印邮票的机器，字面翻译像是自动贩卖邮票的机器，那为什么现在都没有这种东西？（大马邮局是要到柜台买的） 

毕竟是集邮馆，对于邮票的收集绝对不马虎，也让大众体验各式各样的邮票介绍

这个是用看的~

原来是荧光的！

当然少不了那些非常有纪念价值的邮票了！

还有这种亮片的邮票，好酷哦！

有气味的邮票，哇~

适逢今年是狗年，馆里也设置和狗狗相关的邮票和展览

史努比粉丝应该会抓狂~

在一个小角落里也设置了各个国家的邮筒，都很漂亮哦

我们也不忘去厕所观光哈哈哈，也是邮票主题

不过里面没有太大的惊喜啦

接着我们就到纪念品部看有什么东西可以买的，游客的钱就是这样赚的

这里也配合小王子展览售卖一些小王子的周边非官方产品。。。价钱不菲，虽然说往往旅行会有种想豁出去的感觉但是我依然无法那么潇洒毕竟这些东西其实都有超额的嫌疑，因为其实我曾经在淘宝上看过一样的东西。我最后只买了一张明信片和一支小王子的笔心笔（没忍住==）

我的是右边那支，钢笔我决定相信我的直觉，应该可以在淘宝找到啊哈哈哈哈

这里有提供一个可爱的桌子让消费者在这里写明信片，可惜没有提供印章之类的

新加坡一日游待续：Part 2 = 国家博物馆，Lady M千层蛋糕等。。。

Thank god another long weekend was here, and i had spent most of my time at Putra Jaya for 2 occassions.

The first one was the first time in my life, witness the celebration of National day, well, it was kinda a date for me too. 

This guy who I met online suggested to go Putra jaya together and since i have nothing to do though i really have no interest to see as i already expected it would be very crowded. 

But still, I was thinking to try to see once in my life, especially with the victory of successfully changing government this year, Merdeka 2018 seems to be more meaningful. 

So here i come~ 

To be honest, the organization for this year event was horrible, first, there is lacking of information online regarding the bus info, grateful that the organizer arrange bus to pick up public from certain area to the event destination, but i used so much time to find out the official website and the details of the location for pick up. It is unbelievable that the official website was not able to be searched on google. 

I arrived quite early as I really worried about the traffic and parking, and realized the buses were quite frequent. 

Traffic to the destination, which is around presinct 3 was quite smooth, and indeed lots of people. 

During childhood, merdeka is always on tv, while this year, first time witness the event, i just feel....bored. 

I guess maybe the government is trying very hard to save money, so there is not much exciting activities or performance.

The biggest perhaps was the jet flying across...

We stayed less than 2 hours at the event and surprised to find out it did not last very long either.

However, overall I was there almost half day, and starving from the morning until almost 2pm. It was a disaster when heading back to carpark, the buses were stucked in the jam, traffic was very bad, very unorganized, and the buses that passed by was all full. I waited almost 2 hrs just for the bus, not to mention there is nothing around to have food....

So the merdeka event was not very pleasant, but the floral festival on the other hand was not too bad, although i dont think i will come again next year. 

I went to the floral festival with Wei and a bit unlucky was the time we arrived which was around 4pm, it was rain so heavily!

So no choice we had to go IOI for dinner first then only head back to Putra Jaya.

We had dinner at Oiso, it is not bad for the taste, and the restaurant was decorated nicely.

I had ramen, taste was ok, but good portion~

We head back to Putra Jaya was around 9 something, and actually i dont think there were much thing over there. 

Flowers were less than i expected.

Putra Jaya night view could be spotted.

Not really understand the point of having fake snow.....

I guess most flowers are orchid...

Oh there was a mini super tree from Singapore Gardens by the Bay.

So as a mini hobbiton. 

not as colorful as i imagined.

That's all for my weekend, conclusion: not bad as there were something to do... =S
