Today was a busy and productive day for me as I have done quite much of thing.
First I gone to the vege market at 7.45am! It was so hard to wake up early on Saturday, but I still thankful that Yen gave me a ride and save my walking effort, hence getting more vege =D
I bought tons of vege but just paid less than NZD20 =D
Really like vege market as fresh and cheap vegetable and fruits were sold there, the only thing i hate was it is so far!!
But today, no complaint from me =P
For lunch I made myself steamed Salmon fillet!! It was first time I steamed a Salmon, i steamed different fish fillets before, but never tried on Salmon as I though salmon only turned great with oven-baking or in the raw Japanese way.
While I was wrong, it was lovely with the teriyaki sauce and steam~
Then I met Paya and had a good tea time with her at Cuba cafe.
She had not visited Palmy for such a long time, and we missed each other for nearly 3 months. She was so out of the blue when she figured out I made my decision to go home as well as ald moved out from my old flat.
So I was detailing what happened to me most of the time, the time we had was too short.
I wished to have more time to chat with her, I am sure i will miss her a lot after I left NZ.
Glad to know she is still 'surviving' with her thesis, and hopefully she is able to summit her thesis on time this August tho i wont be here to cheer for her success.
How sad? But u got my support and bless all time, my dear.
WHile the weekend did not end with just the fulfilling berry cheese cake, I went to Halie's house warming!
Received this invitation like a month ago, very soliticious =)
She bought a new house in the begining of the year, having a house at the age of 23 really impressive!
Though she still need to pay off the mortgage for around the coming 30 years, but i kinda admire her thought about her housing plan
she is real smart, while i just never thought about getting house or any other investments..I think probably is hard for me to become a millionaire?? =S
Back to the party....
Halie is the one in the black dress. =D She was giving a short speech about getting the house and also thanks for our attendance.
While i was waiting for the dinner to start =P
Halie was such a good host, she decorated her house very well in terms of her effort on purposely setting up a bar for cocktails, and also providing meals and dessert.
Is so lovely that she made me a pina colada cocktail, shame on me took this bad quality photo =(
Her house is just beautiful as this lovely cake made from her friend.
The night dint end very wild, with only a few friends of Halie were dancing at a tiny area
While surprisingly beside Ping, none of us from the company was taking part in the 'dance pool', hmmm, very unusual....
Anyways, most of us left around 11pm before it get too late.
See what I got from going a house warming party!
The mini house candle just cute and lovely =) There is also a 3-pack Ferrero Rocher in the bag <3
Halie did a great effort, i am very sure she made out of her best on tonight. Bless her for a warm and joyful life in her house in coming life =)
