As I said there are more activities coming up, August continued with more and more fun moments.
22nd was Malaysia's Haji day, which is official public holiday for us, and I went to Mid valley with my mum for shopping, L'occitane also had done a campaign in Mid valley centre court.
I guess marketing nowadays have to be very creative and trending, understand the need of youngster nowadays, the road show was just a instagrammable check-in place with lots of kiosk and corners explaining how's their products well related to the public.
They also set up this unique room for photo purpose, luckily we were early, which only need to queue very short time and got to take photo in less than 2 mins i think.
Nowadays these kind of illustration purpose room is very popular as ppl now carrying camera everywhere.
But to us, more like a mother daughter bonding time.
Plus we are not photogenic or photographer, basically just for fun.
But the event is definitely very successful, many crowds were attracted, and most importantly we were able to receive free gift upon checking out every kiosk.
Although all are just samples, but just felt good. Oh, i also had done a simple vision check up, and my eyes are functioning very well.
However, L'occitane marketing did not work on us, beside collecting their free gifts, we did not buy anything, but we do buy their sister's brand, Melvita's products.
Melvita is not that expensive as compared with L'occitane, and also stay the same high quality and natural ingredients content. Then I also had bought kate's eyebrow pen as my etude hse eye brow pen is running off.
We had Japanese for lunch, at Yuzu in Gardens, I think KLCC's yuzu offered better food tho.
Then following after Haji, we had celebration for Bpeng's bday on 23rd at Landmark cafe. This was the second visit for me, and I am banning them from now on.
Food was so salty especially for the crossed cut fries and they explained it was prepackagaed and they couldnt do anything about it, excuse me!? such not professional answer, if you think is salty then you shall just change other products, not giving us excuses!
Their cakes are not pleasant too.
Of cz we still have good time, is just i can quite firm most of us will not going to return after that night.
Once again, happy birthday Bpeng.
Lately i had bought hummus at Jaya grocer, these really bring back the memories of my breakfast in NZ.
Even the hummus is not cheap especially is imported from Australia or NZ, once in a long while was really happy to do so.
Beside getting healthy with hummus, i also start to like the hakka style lei cha, simple life's lei cha was really wholesome, but a bit pricy.
Then my colleague who i mentioned love postcard a lot, had been crazily invested in buying postcards to friends and strangers, i had received one from her today.
Good to have her, do post me more lol =D
