After celebrating my big day in NZ for 5 years, finally in 2013, i was able to enjoy my big day back home.
Specially thanks to my greatest, dearest besties for organizing great activities to celebrate my big day =)
Yimei brought me to 'Dream bakery', a cozy cafe where i always wanted to visit for long.
I love the environment very much, tho the cafe is really small and cramped, but i love the idea how the interior is separated into different corner specially designed for the customers.
Too bad i didnt bring my camera along, or else i must had been transformed to a photographer taking photos everywhere.
However, i think the cakes and macarons at the dream bakery were just alright.
I guess i really couldnt compare the dessert over here with those well-baked desserts in NZ.
But overall, their cakes still quite nice, i specially like the taro (yam) cake.
The mille crepe slices were incomparable with the Nadeje.
The Mable cheese was not nice as well...
When comes to Macarons, i can be a bitch who love to carp every little details. =P, well the macaron at dream bakery was just ok (u got what i mean...)
I really missed the great macarons i had eaten in NZ. =S
However, i still enjoyed the time i had with my besties at Dream bakery, it is a good place to hang out.
Following the light lunch, we gone to the loud speaker KTV (i even joined the membership =.=)
I was chosing the song list on the touch screen menu, actually it was quite advanced for Loud Speaker KTV lounge to use touch pad that time, but i realized Green Box KTV also installing touch pad screen for menu too. The 'Smart' terms really well applied in everywhere....
We had a good time at the KTV room, and we laughed so much bcz bean brought her labtop for photos transferation (Malacca trip photos), but we also browsing the previous high school photo albums....The memorable moments just kept on popped up in our mind, and we talked so much about the past.

Dinner was totally luxirious! We went to Tao Japanese buffet restaurant at Sunway GIZA.
I was very excited because it was the first time for me to eat japanese buffet, as a huge Japan fans, this is a must-do thing!
We were allowed to order the A-La Carte menu, as well as go to the catering area to grab the food. See how much we had ordered, these food was the only part of it.
I was so happy (everyone could tell), felt so grateful and blissful, to me, food is everything! It is the best solution to cure me if I am sad, it can lighten up my mood if i am not happy enough, it also can tickle my crazy nerves and made me super-excited. Lol
In general, TAO did a good job on the A-La Carte dishes, i also love their teppanyaki. You can just chose the raw food u want to grill, and they really did a good job on grilling the food.
Sashimi is my favourite all time, I forgot how much i had eaten that night, but it was definitely the greatest satisfaction!
I was worried initially as i had come across a bad experience on having raw salmon at a worst Japanese restaurant near my hse, it was sting and totally unbearable.
But Tao prepared fresh and good quality salmon and tuna, i also learnt that dont grab sashimi at the first place when u starting a buffet
always wait and obeserve for the right time - when the chef took cutting a new fillet...the taste and texture were so much different!
I also got thrown with a surprise little fruit tart (cake) and birthday song...=O
Thank you Yimei, Ing Bean and Kok chin, u guys were so sweet =)
I also received this card which i loved so much, actually it was picked at Malacca while i was asked to choose the one i loved. ==
But i am still feeling grateful about the gift, and of cause the surprise little fruit tart too which they bought at Komugi bakery when I was there as well!
I should go back to buy more bakeries next time, especially for the signature Hanjuku cheese cake, so tempted! <3
I was feeling great on my big day, thanks again so much for orgazing the activities and good food for me =)
p/s: my big day was actually celebrated for 2 days continuously (how lucky i was!), Bean, kokchin and I went to One U for Mayday concert movie which only showed at IMAX cinema. So i was brought to One U shopping mall. And I had a simple dinner along with my dearest family, i was really happy how my birthday can be celebrated so simple with my family, it meant so much to me after spending birthdays overseas for the past 5 yrs without my precious parents who brought me to the world. Of cz, i was happy that my brother was here with me on my big day too =)
Once again, thank you, and happy birthday Vivian =) Congratz on passing the 25 years old stage, u are one year closer to 30 now...OH NO!! =S
Lol, think of the positive way, i am turning to a shine and mature lady =P
