Hmm, since last week I explored victoria esplande, I really in loved with it.
This garden is so huge, and so fun! It's really incomparable with Dunedin's botanical garden.....well, not mean that Dunedin garden sucks, it just they are different...
Well, I forgot to bring my camera today, just able to use my phone to snapshot some photos, and not a good quality one....
The roses were very beautiful....
I felt better today, after 2 days sick leave....(or to be specific, 2 half-days leave)
My team always have regular "catch up", it does not mean to social, to have a drink, but means to catch up the work schedule, the work progress...
Hmmm, seems not very relaxing, and kinda stressed aye??
Oh well, today catch up was suprising, I had a meeting with Alison, Sergey and Aaron this afternoon at 12pm. Therefore even though I didnt feel very well this morning I still forced myself to work. However, the rain was very heavy, and I was late. Out of suprise, Sergey was calling me, he was worried about my sickness, and wondering if I am coming for work, but I missed his call and only realized after I arrived my office.
I felt so loved today, knowing my supervisors and manager were so caring of me, I am really lucky and happy!
It was very sad that Alison will be leaving us very soon, but today she gave me a big compliment for my work. I felt my effort was appreciated, and I still felt that I could contribute more!
I can see that Alison, as well as both of my beloved supervisors wish to have me for longer time, I kinda see a hope...But of cz I am nervous, and I dont want myself got dissapointed. SO really thank you, I also wish to stay here for more...
Oh yeah, although I am suffering with the stupid allergy, I got a warm welcomed from my lovely new moved-in vietnamese flatmate with her frens.
She served us large vietnamese meal tonight, and I found out that the vietnamese spring rolls were very healthy!!

Hay fever: a pollen allergy...
I thought myself was very lucky because I dint have any allergy, I dont need avoid any type of food, except for too much milk (I have mild lactose-intolerance), well, I dint expect that I have allergy towards pollens.....
Well, my dad had asthma, so I considered myself might have some similar symptoms, but no way for pollens...Gosh, but I did recall that dad was saying he refused to stay overnight at Kuala Selangor (my mum's hometown) bcz the pollens might trigger his asthma. So that's mean this is asthma sign?
Hmmm...well I stayed very smoothly over 3 yrs spring at Dunedin, why Palmy's different??
Ping said there's unique plant in Palmy which able to trigger hay fever, and ppl tends to get hay fever sooner or later. SO means I got it this soon?!
I recalled that I did get hay fever and took antihistamine from Jah last yr when I visited Hasting in Nov, so that's made sense that North Island has different environmental situation as well as pollen? Sigh, who knows?
The thing I knew was I got hay fever, diagnosed by doctor at the Palms, and I paid over $100 for this stupid allergy!! $65 for the doctor, $80 something for the antihistamine, nasal spray and eyes drops. The pharmacist seems felt very sorry for me as I am not PR, dint have insurance, and was kind enough to offer me a 5 dollars voucher by joining Radius club member, well thanks for saving my 5 dollars~
Haih...what to do?? rest now, and pray to recover asap!!
