C'est LA viE

Definitely a fine day, was suppose to attend a makeover class at Pudu but somehow class got postponed, so ended up went to cafe hopping with Liyin. 

Let's the pictures tell how my fine day had been: 

We went to Sri Petaling today, though somehow i really dont like to go there because i have to pay 3 times for the bloody tolls, kesas highway sometimes really reaping off people's money.

Struggled to get a parking but found one in the end, and the purpose we come here is because of the recent trendy dirty bun.

We lined up for almost half an hour to get our order, and need to wait for another 2 hours to get the bun, so we went for cafe hopping around.

We started our "brunch" at Shibuya dessert cafe. mainly for their bingsu.

What would i comment is, it was not that impressive, it was just shaved ice covered with plenty of dragon fruits, but the ice is very fine, similar to what I had at Hanbing korean dessert cafe.

But i find the taste was blend, perhaps good thing is they did not add too much sugar in it then. 

We managed to get another bun on time from the dirty bun shop though, the sesame croissant, very crispy and strong in sesame.

We also ordered another savory toast at the cafe, given that we did not really have proper meal, this cafe do not have many mains, more focus on dessert. 

Their toast was also just alright. 

With LiYin super slow eating speed, we managed to pass the 2 hours waiting time and pick up our dirty bun. 

quite big actually, the name came from the apperance, with lots of cocoa powder that cause your fingers dirty when u eat.

Well i wouldnt say it was not nice, nothing will go wrong with chocolate, but it was definitely over-rated and overpriced. I wouldnt go for the second time unless it is not that expensive and given that, no lining up for this. =) 

We actually gone to another cafe at Bukit Bintang, somewhere i always wish to go - Owls cafe.

Their waffle was very famous, i had heard about it when i was in NZ. As a waffle fan, i was really very desperate to try their waffle. 

There were many options no doubt, but again, with dissapointment, their waffle is not that warm and crispy which ald failed the first criteria of a good waffle.

Then, another box was crossed because it was blend, almost tasteless. 

I was really dissapointed to be honest, but maybe i have huge expectation, i am trying to learn not putting so much hope in many things now.

At least, it was a joyful Saturday with Liyin. =)
