Finally I went to Aberdeen for a delightful but pretty sad meal, well because it was another farewell.
I had been seeing so many ppl come and leave Palmy, tonight we were gathering at Aberdeen for Pauline, a French intern.
She will be going back home soon for continuing her study for sure, although we dint really know each other very well.
To be honest, I really hate the idea: dinner for an excuse, yes they said it is an excuse, which means not a purpose. I really think this idea is not very fair to the person who are leaving, and actually I think is rude.
I wonder how well Pauline knew us and want us to be here....=S
Anyways, I am sincerely attending this dinner for her.
Between, the dining area was very well decorated up for christmas!
I finally knew this candy shaped christmas crackers, or also called christmas bon bons, actually are not just decoration.
According to wikipedia, christmas crackers are
' A cracker consists of a cardboard tube wrapped in a brightly decorated twist of paper, making it resemble an oversized sweet-wrapper. The cracker is pulled by two people, and, much in the manner of a wishbone, the cracker splits unevenly. The split is accompanied by a small bang or snapping sound produced by the effect of friction on a chemically impregnated card strip (similar to that used in a cap gun).'
Good to know! See what I got from the bon bons:
A cheap ring and Lame joke == , but also got this cute celebration hats
here come me and Halie.
And my fancy special lamb rump tonight, very tasty, just not very pleased with the salty risotto underneath. =S
Anyways, tonight was a good night. =D And hope Pauline will be enjoying the remain days in NZ and have a good future ahead back France.
