Ok, continue with day 4...it was a rather relaxing day ecause basically I dint feel like working today.
Today will be the last morning I had such a pampered breakfast, I agreed a good and wealthy breakfast really can lighten our day =)
The only time we were working today was when we visited our supplier's new innovation office and see how other ppl are working lol
Their innovation and working environment indeed attractive.
Then, after collecting our colleague's samples, we headed to Changi airport.
Luckily Karen did not listen to the big boss advise to change flight in order to back home earlier, hey stop teaching us what to do, you can continue with your gym training or facial mask in order to satisfy your young mistress ok!
Well, what can we really do in airport? We can have a good lunch~
There is a Japanese merged food court in Terminal 3, there are around 5 - 6 different japanese stores mainly selling ramen, udon or don.
Walking there really felt like we were in Japan, in the end we chosen a store that offered lunch set promotion.
I had this combination of charsu ramen and gyoza, with soft drink of choice~ This cost SGD15.90, it is rather cheap if not converting the currency.
Ramen was actually not too bad, the noodle is not soggy or soft, quite chewy and the soup is not too salty. Gyoza is just normal dumpling, nothing special about it.
For soft drink, I chosen a Japanese brand ice cream soda, which is a good choice lol.
Then we started walking around, and I finally spotted the bubble tea shop that my sister in law kept remind me to buy
KOI, apparently is a sister chain of Taiwan famous bubble tea chain - 50嵐 but only available in Singapore.
What I really love about their bubble tea was they are not too sweet because they have options to choose less sugar and ice amount.
Moreover, this cost me SGD3.10, which is really cheap! Moreover, it had already include the tapioca pearls!!
Malaysian shall know this, no matter Chat time or Gong Cha, we never have inclusive pearls in any type of bubble tea on the menu, it comes under topping and cost extra RM0.50 above.
So KOI is considered generous with such big portion (just regular size), convert to Malaysian ringgit is around RM9, actually is almost the same in Malaysia, but when thought about living in Singapore with this price, this is really cheap.
Their tapioca pearls are quite chewy, and also smaller than what I usually have in Malaysia.
Then, we walked around the airport, and also bought some bakeries at Paris Baguette cafe, a Korean bakery chain which only available in Korea and Singapore.
Their bakeries are quite special, but too expensive especially they are already sold in SGD~
But I still bought myself a macaron, because today was my birthday =)
It even had my birth date on it =) , this is a pistachio flavor macaron, actually just so so.
We also had fun in doing some artwork, Changi airport had a special coloring stops to celebrate the 50th national anniversary of Singapore.
It suppose a fun stop for kids, but we just pretending we are young too, lol
Look at what I had colored ~
Basically since we started playing with different board, more people come to join us =)
Before we on board, we also have snapped some photos because Changi airport is the world ranking 1 airport. LOL
There is also a KOI pond at the airport.
Due to the National anniversary of the country, Singapore famous food decor was spotted everywhere in the airport, of cause it include the famous Hainanese chicken rice.
So that's it for my first time exploring in Singapore, see you again next time.
