Come to think about it, actually our department did not have much events compared to others
Well, this marked the previous and only outing so precious, lol
Moreover, this outing is not a random one, is for Hajar, my ex-colleague, who had gone to NZ for studying now.
We had Korean dinner at Dubu Dubu, meal were rather big and cheap when compared with other korean cuisine tho taste was just so so.
But it is about the gathering moments rather than food, thus we picked korean because Ching Yee had just back from Korea trip that time.
It was fun to share her Korean experience while having korean meal. =)
And looks what she bought for us!
Mine is the blue one, with a heart. <3 I liked it a lot, and used to wear it a lot these days.
We gone to Library cafe for dessert after our dinner, where just recently opened by that time.
It is a cozy and relaxing place to chill out with frens and colleagues, and we hang out there until the mall closed!
We ordered this special dessert: Banana chocolate wontons, it was not cheap, but it was good!
The pastry is so crispy, and it matched well with the sweet and warm banana filling within.
and I find it hillarious how the receipt described the wonton:
The second one: Bababa Chocolate, it just reminds me of How minions described banana~
LOLLLL!!
I also ordered a double chocolate drink which was so "coco" (lol, my special description) while Ching Yee ordered her favorite matcha drink (she so into matcha)
(Hajar just like to get attention! @@)
The cafe and coffee culture started booming in Malaysia, you can find cozy, fancy cafe in every single corner of shopping mall and shop lots opposite street.
WHen i said cafe, I do not mean starbucks or coffee beans, but those new, non-chained cafes with youngsters sitting around.
Tho I am not a coffee drinker, I have enjoyed visiting cafes since living in NZ, so I wouldnt miss out the chance to explore new cafes back home.
However, I felt the drinks or desserts are somehow overpriced, and they were over-rated by the social media or blogs.
So there's pro and cons, have to pick a great one while visiting those popular cafes in Malaysia.
Anyways, Library cafe is still considered good (but pricy) for a visit, and we did have a good time.
