close

Oh no is the red bomb attack again! Since last year, I had started accummulating wedding invitation cards, people who I knew is getting married~

Luckily, the close frens around me still single and yet to find their Mr. Right, that's why all of us are so stressed...LOL.

So this time, one of my Uni mate, Pui Yee invited me for her wedding dinner at her hometown - Ipoh.

I had known Pui Yee since 2009 through Zhuo Shi, another good fren of mine who studied same course as mine.

By then, I already knew she was hanging out with today's groom, Sze and I used to gossip how crazy was this couple, and how attached was Pui Yee to the groom to be.

Well, to me, Pui Yee is gorgeous and for sure worth for someone better as the groom today that I knew wasnt really not treating Pui Yee very well.

But, who knows he might change in the end, hence marrying Pui Yee now~

Oh well, the most exciting thing about this wedding is, Sze is coming back Malaysia too.

Actually, I wouldnt attend the wedding without sze's reminder, as I was not that close with Pui Yee, but still happy for her new chapter in life.

So, that's how I went to Sze's hse to stay overnight, and gone to Ipoh with her for Pui Yee's big day~

We had breakfast at a local tradition coffee shop at Ipoh, having hor fun with shredded chicken is really odd, because I never had soupy breakfast...==

But the soup is mild and fresh, and the pork satay Sze's dad ordered was also good!

Then we departed to Pui Yee's hse, and saw her in the traditional chinese wedding costume. She is pretty!

A very traditional chinese style wedding ceremony~

Apparently 17th October is really a good day for wedding, we were lost on our way to Pui Yee's hse, and saw so many red tent along our way and bumped into wrong hse...LOL

Then, Pui Yee's parents were also very kind enough to invite us for lunch too. They booked 4 tables at one of the famous restaurant in Ipoh and one of the table was specially for us.

Too bad we were too full from the breakfast this morning, but the food was quite nice.

After that, we walked around the old street at Ipoh, apparently the heritage area in Ipoh also like Malacca Jonker st or Penang's Xing Zhou bridge, they transform the heritage building to artistic spots, contemporary art were spotted everywhere~

Need to specifically mention about the wedding photoshooting is specially made and photoshot by our common fren, also one of my close Uni mate, Wann Zhen's husband, Kent.

His photoshooting skill is real good, everyone was impressed with the photos~ Of cause many of them were shocked with the NZ incredible view~

Not to forget, Pui Yee also set up a cute and lolitta photo booth for the guests. and free printed photo for every shots!!

Oh well what a wonderful night, what a wonderful catch up~

But my night did not end with peace, but end with shock and somehow...pride =)

Because Sze's dad, who fetched us all the way from KL to Ipoh, and waited us for hours (also saying to meet with suppliers) was drunk!!!!

He managed to drive to the hotel of the wedding venue to pick us up, but was worried if he capable to fetch us back safely to KL.

So I was asked to drive his car, and guess what, it is a Mercedes-Benz!! I was in shock!!

Sze even said: " I rather you drive Vivian..." OMG! where is her confidence on me come from?!

Hence, I drove all the way from Ipoh to KL, back to Sze's apartment, and shhh, this is a secret ok. (Just because we want to kept this from Sze's mum and avoid another unnecessary quarrel...
